Into the breach. Gets overshadowed by FTL but it’s S tier. They also just released a giant free update like a week ago and it’s amazing. Go check it out
>lesser known
also it has bad rng balance, if you don't get certain skills for mechs or good spawns/enemies you get overpowered. good roguelites allow you to win 100% of the time with good choices and skill.
RNG is not required to win. Hard mode was too easy, even. The new “Unfair Mode” is pretty fricking hard, but you’re only going to be counting on luck if you’re not thinking out your starting positions and paying attention to how many tiles the enemies can move. You get out of it what you put into it. If you’re relying on luck, I guarantee you’re half-assing something. The smallest difference in positioning can make a massive difference in your outcomes. There’s also some meta progression in the sense that you can level your time traveler, abandon timeline and start with a pre-leveled time traveler
>abandon timeline >you can lose on purpose
are you seriously suggesting it as a mechanic a good player should use?
I put a good 25 hours into the game, won games, unlocked squads, learned to plan ahead and play well. I play puzzle games and roguelites and do well.
yet I could not avoid buildings taking damage, maps with spiders sliding down into 3v7, getting two mechs tied by the sticky effects and being unable to effectively answer the same turn, due to reasons.
it is not possible to calculate for every possibility, or answer the game when it decides to have 3 unites 2 damage your buildings alongside 1/2 spiders throwing eggs.
RNG can get you fricked.
GearHead 2 is fricking kino. It's a shame Hewitt never fricking finished it,left it at version like 0.7 and just moved on to Caramel which is just simply NOT not as good of a game.
What os is this? Black person balls os?
it is THE game.
moron
Looks like a poor man's Lunatic Dawn.
I find games that utilize OS's own windows super comfy, such as Real Lives, any other like this?
