Actually replaying SM1 right now on my Pi and I'm surprised how much it still holds up. First time around on the PS1 though since I own the N64 copy. The sewers are still the only low point in the game I think, only because of how often it load breaks between sections.
Spiderman PS4 is just objectively a better game than this one. It just is. You can make an argument for the PSX Neversoft game as well, but in terms of open world, the PS4 one is a better game.
