Only thing that is going to make you less human is playing that goddamn jigaboo lifestyle game. No thanks i like my games like i like my beer; blonde hard working and honest
GTA IV is boring.
Vehicle handling, character movement, gun fights, graphics... all boring.
I do like how alive and genuine the streets feels when on foot.
Depends. SA has the sandbox and crazy arcadey weapons and story; I liked GTA IV's grounded style. We could get into all that meta narrative shit about how its supposed to represent the tedium and dreary nature of actual crime life bla bla bla...I grew up on 3. So maybe I just have a hard on for LC
I loved GTA 3, but I feel like it's way too old and missing so many things I loved from Vice City and San Andreas. But if they made it today, Claude would be a chatterbox cringegay who just got cucked by his latina girlfriend instead of a silent psychopath

The vehicle handling is a skill issue. The handbrake and brake are there to help you hit turns. Chases become easy and so does losing the cops. I can easily clear chases that I struggled with as a kid because I got gud at driving. Its better when you can’t come to an immediate stop after going 200mph

Yeah its old , but man..it has that quality. The rain, the fog LOD, Rise and MSX FM..half the cast on goodfellas and sopranos in there. it was just so 2000's. Love that vibe west coat not so much
V sucks because it's a narrative mess, it doesn't know if it wants to be a gangster game, breaking bad clone or heat rip off so rockstar just tried to cram it all in one making the whole single player experience feel like a chore. Graphically it's a nice step up from IV but everything else is just shit. Driving is worse, shooting is worse and the AI is worse.

SR2 completely shat on that overrated mess of a game. It has a better story, better characters, better customization, better gameplay, better map, better everything. Take off the nostalgia goggles and realize that SR2 is better than your trash ass failed attempt at a gangster game. Every SA does, it gets mogged bt SR2 100x more. CJ sucks and is a fricking beta male who gets pushed around by literally everyone. >b-but the newer saints row games suck!!
Yeah no fricking shit. Besides your series doesn’t seem to be doing much better if you guys consider the half assed and rushed gangster game to be the best one. (btw I know GTA is the better series and I prefer IV, but come on now: SR2 below SA? that’s just moronic.)
San Andreas came out at the perfect time, when the GTA series was already world famous, but also before the online fandom could ruin it. People didn't have constant access to the internet back then or datamining, so myths spread about almost anything and gave a it a reason for people to explore the open world for things that seemed just out of reach. I have never seen a game capture the imagination so much as this
The game literaly expossed the cycle of violence and how the gang culture ruins people's lifes >you do crimes but you only get paid with the respects of your friends >cant get a real job because you do crimes >you shoot someone just because they are from a different gang >Everyone expects loyalty out of you and trying to improve is shamed upon >"you were born here and you will die here"
Its a shame that once sweet is free and cj has gained persective over the world, instead of trying to convinced sweet that the best would be to move on he just shuts down and does everything he says like in the start of the game.
PS ryder should've died in the green sabre mission. They ruined his character.
GTA V also had this, but condensed. Franklin already had his CJ character development offscreen so now he hates the hood and the idea of being a gang member and getting paid nothing all the time.
About to replay the game after all these years, any downsides to playing as fat CJ? I wanna play as a chunker for shit and giggles unless it affects gameplay negatively.
>NPCs make fun of you
Bueno. That's fricking perfect. I thought he'd struggle climbing over shit or something, but if I can still complete the vast majority of the missions as a fatass, I'm going for it.
You'll have to slim down for The Truth's jetpack mission since he won't let you do it if you're too fat. Aside from that? I don't think so.
Kek, holy shit the amount of easter eggs in this game, that's funny. Thanks for the heads-up too anon.
>kills pedestrian >money drops >CJ: LUNCH MONEY
Yeah I wanna experience all the voiced fatso lines, haven't tried it before, but it should be fun to experience the game in a new (for me at least) way.
Hey, Louisiana woman, Mississippi man
We get together every time we can.
The Mississippi River can keep us apart
There's too much love in the Mississippi heart.
Too much love in this Louisiana heart.
what makes san andreas so fricking good? Like I recently decided to replay the gta series. Replayed gtasa, had a blast. played all the way throughout the riots and ending. ON the otherhand, Gta 4 I just lose interest in playing before i even get to the last island. And Gta 5 I have no urge to replay at all. Is this nostalgia?
Like gta 4 has better graphics, engine, ai, everything, and Gta 5 evenmoreso. Yet san andreas is the gta game i find myself replaying, never gta 4, or gta 5. Maybe its my personal preference or something else. I can never quantify a factual reason why gtasa was more replayable/enjoyable than its predecessors.
I play GTA V until I unlock Trevor and just frick around with his invincibility and then stop playing when I get bored. I have only beaten it once, while I have replayed SA and Vice City multiple times. Biggest reason would be that they are a lot more arcade-like and you are encouraged to explore and do whatever you want. In some missions I could just cause mayhem and have the cops help me by shooting the enemies. GTA V cops just kill you with perfect aim. GTA IV is my favourite game, but not because of the story, but because shooting was finally improved and multiplayer was added. But I feel intimidated to replay the story all over again.
video games aren't about having fun anymore
>game development post 2007
"It's not about having fun..."
GTA IV surpaased it. Less coons
But more Slavs.
>can't make Niko fat
>can't make Niko into a hobo junkie
at least RDR2 lets you destroy Arthur and John
>coons
Talk like a human, Black person.
Only thing that is going to make you less human is playing that goddamn jigaboo lifestyle game. No thanks i like my games like i like my beer; blonde hard working and honest
>talks like a braindead zoomer trying to look badass
Like clockwork.
lol yea homie u kanging it 2 me rn

Braindead fricking zoomer
Zoomers grew up playing PS2 GTA games
Nice try, zoomer
GTA IV is boring.
Vehicle handling, character movement, gun fights, graphics... all boring.

GTA IV streets are filled with crackheads, gangbangers and lost peds it's hilarious

Grow up, kiddo.
There isn't a bigger newbie alert than someone claiming the dogshit slop that GTA4 is, was actually good
A lot of people like the game anon. Go outside
Yeah its old , but man..it has that quality. The rain, the fog LOD, Rise and MSX FM..half the cast on goodfellas and sopranos in there. it was just so 2000's. Love that vibe west coat not so much
Eastern Europeans are Black folk.
Technologically yes but gameplay wise it's way too linear compared to SA. TBOGT and TLAD kind of fix that but were way too short.
GTA V got that aspect right while screwing up what made GTA IV so good
V sucks because it's a narrative mess, it doesn't know if it wants to be a gangster game, breaking bad clone or heat rip off so rockstar just tried to cram it all in one making the whole single player experience feel like a chore. ......
this gta clone has nothing on SA

Is this a joke or something?
SR2 was good but still never really reached those highs that SA did. Sucks that volition pretty much ran the franchise into the ground.
>reached those highs
What hights?
these heights
A glitchy dev tool was added to the game?
you will never understand the sovl

the gamefaqs bigfoot threads were pretty comfy
>CJ leaves grove street
>immediately becomes successful and rich
crab mentality

Sorry for the broken english my dudes, I didn't read the post after typing it and tbh i am too tired to fix it.

Pretty sure he has a lower sprint speed while fat.
san andreas never lived up to GTA 3
the back of ya neck look like a pack of hot dogs
San Andreas is worse than Vice City and even 3. 4 is still, and probably will always be the best GTA. I wonder how badly Wokestar will frick up 6.
they did sweet dirty
>Shark Tale
>GTA San Andreas
October 2004 was great
Amazing, isn't it? I had such hope for the future
YOU'RE OUT OF TOUCH, I'M OUTTA TIME
Pound for pound, is GTA the best/most fun AAA franchise of all time? It’s way up there in my book, top 3 easily.
I guess only fighting games are as fun
those are only fun in-person though
Yes
NFS used to have that too when the games were about racing fast and screwing with the AI
