not being a shitter
Are you a girl or something? Stop playing the exact same way and expecting different resultd
Some men are just made to be little wiener sleeves for alphas.
Were you happy with your skill level before? Then why would that change now? If you were trying to improve this is a good chance to realize you weren't training effectively and improve your habits.
>y-you're just not working smart or hard enough
Talentgay cope. You didn't make it because you worked harder or smarter you made it because you won the genetic lottery.
Typical beta male mindset. On your knees, bawd.
Cry about it subhuman.
It's not a lottery, good genes come from parents with good genes.
You're just an actual Untermensch.
Rofl, this homie played Persona 4 and related to Adachi the most. Imagine being so pathetic your cope is that you're pathetic
Very few people luck into everything being handed to them. The vast majority are somewhere in the middle, and have things they're better and worse at. You probably are too and just aren't playing a game that comes naturally to you
Never said that. And there 100% are people who are good at nothing like me.
>And there 100% are people who are good at nothing like me.
True, but there's also a lot more people that are blind to what they're good at than actual good for nothings.
You're a talentgay. You didn't put in any effort to improve. You just got beat by someone who actually did or has more talent than you
Imagine living with this mindset your whole life.
Just have a nice day already
>Drive to the gym and sit in the lobby for an hour
>Why am i not getting stronger?
Based moron logic.
>go to gym
>see 6'5 guy on roids
>damn he must've worked so hard and smart surely I can grow a foot too if I work hard enough
>why does the guy with aimbot have more kills than me
Stop using Miku for your worthless opinions you dumb pathetic c**t. Talent is nothing without honing one's skill and patience rewards all.
I never said having talent means you don't have to put in effort. But without talent your effort wouldn't have gotten you anywhere as far as it did with talent. Without your talent you would've been just another nameless schmuck like the rest of us.
Sounds like the plot of a gay doujin
Enjoy your buttsex anon
Your skills at the game got worse and stagnated while since he's new at the game, he's attentive and trying to improve.
When I started playing Siege, I was platinum rank, when I stopped playing Siege 400 hours later, I was silver rank because I stopped playing the game frequently and stopped learning new skills and tactics.
You can't just turn your brain off and expect to improve. You have to be aware of what you're doing, what the opponent is doing, and how it interact together.
>Brothers playing wrestling games years ago
>Offer me to play, give a basic summary of how
>Essentially if they go to hit you you could just press r2 or l2 to instantly counter them
>Do nothing but this and mash attack
"bro how are you so good have you played before"
Some people are bad because they put so many hours in they overcomplicate the game to cope with the fact its not that hard.
Most games are poorly balanced and 90% of what you can do is not worth doing.
1v1 him irl
No way dude's a foot taller than me and 60 lbs heavier
Congrats for being friends with a chad but it seems that it is your only redeeming quality.
>HE BIG AND STRONG SO HE GOOD
What are you a caveman?
You already admitted he's also way better than you at videogames so that's two very different categories where he outperforms you.
And considering how you instantly fly into manlet rage even on the internet he definitely has to have a better personality than you as well.
And based on this I'm going to assume he's also smarter than you.
Sissy
>tranime
I wonder why you suck at vidya
you seem like a cute boy OP, maybe you should just accept your place?
call him a tryhard every time he does better than you
Frick how did I not think of that thank you Anon
Let your friend cum inside your ass.
It's the only way he can share his gamer talent with you.
Only 2 games I've ever gotten over 1k+ hours. TF2 mostly just idling but I did have a near 2 year obsession with death runs. The other was Skyrim and I promise you half of that was just trying to get mods to work. The longest game I have from serious play is BotW at 300 hours, I'm a NEET and how the frick do you get 2000 hours in one game? I love me some games but playing one game that long is baffling. Do you take turns with other games or do you just go back to it for years?
>fricking skyrim
really Black person?
Time spent means absolutely nothing if you aren't putting any actual focus into what you're doing. Pay attention to your actions, what they do and consider what they can be used for, while doing the same for what the enemies/opponents do, and use every opportunity to practice something. Most importantly, never seek to blame or pin your mistakes on anything other than yourself, whether it's a lack of knowledge or just poor timing or decision-making. It doesn't matter how justified you think you are in doing so, or even if you actually are justified in doing so, this mindset is the death of improvement.
>been playing FPS on PC for years
>console gay brother moves to PC
>already has a better aim than me
It's over
>be naturally talented at videogames
>whenever playing with... lessers... they often are quick to criticize and single out my playstyles even if i am objectively scoring better than them
>it is because their brains are too smooth to comprehend my plays
You're autopiloting and/or relying on cheese strategies anyone with a brain would see through
>caring about video game "success"
>care about your career, your education, your family
Nice try israelite
No, really, if you don't care about your education you will plummet to rock bottom in no time. I'm not saying go to college, but pick up a nonfiction book every now and again from your local library. Please.
Mmmm yes reading Cephalopod Neurobiology is sure to massively up my career prospects and open countless doors.
Yes. In your sorry state, I guarantee that taking the time to become a master at understanding cephalopod neurobiology would open doors for your quaint and rather tiny world. That's the whole point on why I suggested what I did. And once you are done, look back at how far you have come with you wonderful human brain that's naturally optimized for meta pattern recognition. Learning is a skill all onto itself. Once you learn how to learn, maybe you can apply that to something that makes you money or perhaps you could even GET GUD at the games you play.
just accept it, swallow it down, and think about it as little as possible. if you have to, stop playing with the guy. you're worse than him, happens, there are always people better than you and people worse than you
there was a korean study a few years back that proved that more play time doesn't equal a improvement in your ability. but how you play does. people who experimented more with the mechanics and were able understand how the game works but played for few hours advanced a lot quicker on online games than people who would spent the entire week playing a game for 12 hours
As one of the latter, it's insane to me that this would actually require a survey. But the average level of interaction people are willing to have with games has been drastically decreasing over time, no one wants to learn how things work and just want to beat the game, even if doing so would mean they have much more fun or even beat the game more smoothly. Ego comes into it heavily as well, as said people will use every insane excuse in the book to avoid recognizing their mistakes.
So basically putting actual effort into learning produces results but you two put it into words better than I could ever before.
>latter
I meant former in that I was one of the people that actually experiment with mechanics the moment they're introduced and try to practice and find things myself. Clearly it doesn't stop me from making silly mistakes but that's why I take note of and build on them. But yeah pretty much what I already said before.
If you aren't actively trying to improve 2k hours isn't going to do shit. The guy that spends 4000 hours grinding against AI opponents in AoE2 is going to get slaughtered by the guy with 100 hours that only plays against real people
Your friend is talented and you are not. Genetic lottery is almost everything in life.
You can achieve a lot with dedication even if you are not talented, but people with talent will overtake you with a fraction of hard work put into it. This is life and whoever says talent doesn't exist is a copegay.
Maybe you should try playing with him, anon. He could give you some pointers!
If all it took to succeed was to "just keep trying" then we'd all be Olympic athletes and musical masters now wouldn't we?
The truth is everyone has genetic limits on how quickly they can improve at something and how far they can keep improving at something before they peek. Most people don't want to acknowledge these objective facts because the idea that our fates were never in our own control is upsetting to think about.
>How the frick do you cope with this?
I wouldn't know. I'm the one who overtakes.
