Elden Ring was a life changer for me. Experiencing The Last of Us in a new way was jaw dropping. Spider-Man 2 took superhero video games to a whole other level.

I don’t own one myself, but I played Final Fantasy XVI on a friend’s PS5 and it was fun. Doing PC ports and not cutting off PS4 support really damaged the system’s library. Yeah I know the average gamer just wants consoles for COD but it’s the 80/20 rule, and there’s not much in terms of an attractive library to get the hardcore fans excited.

Ps5 lack of Senran Kagura, Neptunia or low budget VNs. That franchises exist in ps4 but oddly not in ps5

GT7 is just a reskin of GT Sport, no point making it exclusive.

For me it's Death Stranding Director's Cut. Its the only game that feels like a PS5 game.
Normally the launch of a slim version indicates the midway point of a console generation, but I bet Sony can squeeze another five years out of the PS5.
This is going to be one slow, painful console cycle. I definitely think we're going to get a third PS5 just like with PS3, and that the PS6 won't happen until like 2028.

Playstation is crushing Xbox's market share and Nintendo isn't directly competing with them. Sony isn't going anywhere, their position is strong regardless of how few exclusive games there are.

The dualsense is a piece of shit. The one that came with my console got stick drift, the other one I bought at the time has a broken R2. I own 3 dualsenses and only one works 100%.

It’s been very cool. But I’m not stoked on 2024’s lineup so far so it looks like the ole Series X will be coming off the bench and resuming as my main machine.
Maybe when ps6 comes out for a year or 2 and ps5 gets all the games if they are good I might get a Nintendo switch or used ps5 for cheap, I'm a grown man not a child I don't give a fuck about improved speed or graphics. My base ps4 from mid 2015 still works great I think I paid 250 for it. It was when the pro launched. Ps4 had a good era of a few games. But nothing compared to the ps2 or even Xbox 360 choices. Ps4 games or last console games are just long because I try to 100% all my games
I got one for fairly cheap recently, I intend to play FF7 Rebirth when it comes out then sell the cunt. Maybe I'll squeeze in a Bloodborne playthrough. There's no reason to own this just to play inferior versions of games with no customisation or mods, nor to own disk copies of games (that the PS5 spins very noisily at one billion RPM seemingly out of spite at the concept of ownership, this shit's already installed ffs)
