I refuse to play lootslop
kek, lootslop is the perfect description for this bullshit
Nice, a new filter. Thanks
enjoy 10 hours of ""gameplay""
wowzers in my trouserz
>t. Diablo 2 assgay who will nitpick every aspect of a new A-RPG that doesn't align with his two-decades old D2 experience.
Grow the fuck up, shut the fuck up, and go play your remaster instead of shitting out your opinion down the throat of every website on the internet. They made a remaster, just for you, go play with it. Diablo 3 was a huge success because people had FUN playing it, and Diablo 4 might if it's FUN as well. Your schizoid fixation on very specific and obscure mechanics to 95% of the modern Diablo fanbase is the product of your nostalgic autism and not grounded on good taste.
Tl;dr shut the fuck up
Let the blizzdrones keep grinding for hours a day in peace. I don't want to see them in my threads or in my games.
this
blizzshit games being bad has been a disaster for everyone else because now we have to put up with these tards shitting up our games
RPG's were mistake.
That number autism means nothing if you don't understand the internal formula.
Games like MH even have hidden formula and fixed damage attacks that depend on the rank
the problem are wow players, you can spot them easily
>core skill damage
>basic skill damage
>overpower damage
did the other Diablos have this?
that just looks retarded
What is the point of having separate affixes for basic skills and core skills.
Damage to healthy enemies is a fuckin DOG stat because endgame everything is going to be a damage sponge like in grifts.
And then it has a swing timer with 10% variance counting as slow.
The zoomies are right this is mazed.
Is this a real thread for once?
I think I'm level 14 or 15 rn. So basically this is my new favorite Diablo game.
Love the music
Love the visuals - they clearly copied PoE, which is a good thing since D3 looked like a WoW demake.
Love the story so far
Love the Slav setting. It just feels right for this story. There's always something inherently unsettling about Slavs.
Love the return to grimdark
only played Sorc so far but I really like the combat now that the difficulty is ramping up and the hoards are getting bigger
Love the voice acting
Audio is *MWAH* on a 5.1 surround setup
Skill tree is eye cancer
menus generally suck
no mana potions? Really?
prelaunch bugs. Whatever.
Also, where the hell do you get whispering keys from? Found two silent chests so far and the game does 0 to let you know where to get the keys for them.
sorry that you got tricked into thinking that you are playing an actual game. get well soon, friend.
classic Ganker cope.
>*mwah*
>chef's kiss
Is this the new meme? I've seen it at least thrice today.
Nah, it's been a thing for years in the normie corners of the webs. Guess where the shills are coming from.
People started overusing it about 6 months ago. It is incredibly cringe in text.
it's been around for a long time, my guy.
>items that buff skills for certain builds are BAD because
>B-Because I just said so, okay?!?!?!
>I'm a baby who wants Blizzard to make my builds for me
>I should be able to use whatever random ass skills I want still be effective okay??!?!?!
This bro so stupid I'm not giving him a (you)
damn. dudes really be that fucking retarded nowadays huh
Shouldn't legendaries be a low percent chance drop from the final boss...?
Never been like that in any Diablo game.
Also, I'd rather be able to get legendaries with interesting affixes early on rather than crawl through an entire campaign with boring gray and blue weapons with generic affixes and no unique skill interactions. The legendaries aren't max level so who cares ? They're useless 10 levels later. Is it the color that bother you ?
they shouldn't be called Legendaries then. They should be called rare items.
>Oh no I can't have fun in my game because I want legendaries to only be unlockable after the final boss 15 hours into the game !
My man, D2 and D3 were legendaries lootfest past the first 15 hours, let's not pretend that a better droprate of legendaries at level 25 compared to previous games ruins your immersion.
> let's not pretend
It does. it ruins the hell out of it.
Oh noooooo not your immersion !
Why are you mocking him? The more Blizzard ruins the game, the better. This company has long overstayed its welcome.
Don't worry, I stopped playing after the first boss haha.
It's not for me.
All the gear is baby fed to me, it even tells me "this one is better because it says green!"
I don't even look at the stats, if it says green I just swap.
It's all click click with my mouse, move mouse to skeleton, click, lol, no thinking involved. The only thinking is done when you're out of combat and reading the tooltips on the character skills.
Oh yeah, I can see how the color of tooltips and the color of loot has made your experience unbareable.
It's a shame the clicking gameplay of the Diablo franchise doesn't...click with you. I'm sure the many ARPGs that don't include clicking and moving your mouse would welcome you with open arms.
which arpgs have you played where you seriously sit and ponder over which item to equip before you even get to the final boss? in literally every arpg you just glance at early game items for a millisecond and equip whatever new drops you get
>damage to 'healthy enemies'
>damage to 'crowd controlled enemies'
fundamentally awful design, stats should tell me EXACTLY what they do instead of having to consult a wiki for what exactly qualifies under some abstract mtgchud keyword slop condition
Dont ever play POE then lmao. The definition of "nearby" is different for every time its mentioned. Sometimes 4 meters, sometimes 10 meters with no indication of which. Same with "recently" usually its 4 seconds but sometimes 6
>but what does crowd controlled MEAN
Retard
Yeah?
Does a slow count? Does a root effect count? What about a blind? Or a confuse effect that makes them hit allies? There's tons of vague shit that's not immediately intuitive
Nah, that's a valid question. Devs love to make special snowflake exceptions to what sound like they should be common sense things. Look at say, WoW, where roots, physical roots, slows, stuns, fears, horrifies, sleeps and confuses count as their own things instead of working as generic 'crowd control'. That +damage vs crowd controlled wouldn't work against any of those in that game. So what are the rules in this one, released by the same studio?
Lootslop is to millennials what slotslop is to boomers.
why are poefags like this
why can't you enjoy both games
>same uniques have different mods
Wtf is this shit? If i get a name item i should know what mods on the item to expect
The legendary part is the line of text at the end which you can rip off and transplant on to other items. I think it's pretty stupid since it could have been something that you slot on your character instead of a mechanic that deletes the possibility of actually cool uniques.
There are uniques, it’s just they don’t drop until Nightmare
It's still just one line of actual text
where do i find the key item that lets me into the cathedral on the far right of the map
>Diablo II Act 1
>Clear the den of evil
>Kill Blood Raven
>Rescue Cain
>Kill the Countess in the tower ruins
>Kill the smith and get the hammer
>Kill Anderial in the catacombs under the Church
>Diablo IV Act 1
>Walk to and talk to this guy
>Walk to the next person and talk to them
>Walk to the next person and talk to them
>Walk to the next person and talk to them
>Collect 5 things
>Walk to the next person and talk to them
This game sucks. Even the combat feels less weighty then D3. This is one of the worst mainline Blizzard games ever made.
Too much shit, unironically. It should be Damage + crit bonus, nothing more.
that’s what ruined D3
Wait, legendaries aren't unique and just picking from a list of effects?
correct they are copying d3 "uniques" which are now called legendary because they have a special "legendary effect". uniques have long been dead
How do I know which is better? Where's green arrow
whoever organized the order for the item stats is retarded. Also "+ damage to closer enemies/healthy enemies/far enemies" is stupid too
Kneel
>Game broke Twitch Records in closed beta
>Ganker in full cope mode already
Sorry you let Blizzard live rent free and got mindbroken
twitch views are a retarded metric "just chatting" lmao go back to simping fag
