Literally heavier than my 14-inch ThinkPad laptop. No wonder it flopped.

Yes, KDE developers said it sold over 1 million and somehow everyone believed them. Valve hasn't stated the sales numbers yet. And even if the "over 1 million" number is true, that's still flop tier.

        >It's a flop because someone said it sold a high amount but it can't be verified.

          >1 million in 1 year
          >high amount
That's how much Vita sold and Vita is universally considered a flop.

Sony abandoned the device when they saw how much phone games were making. Deck receiving new games depends on steam existing and not the deck flopping.

And heck, something flipping depends on what the company expected it to sell, and the latter initial queue means it sold more than they expected, specially after steam machines

Get a life. It can't be verified, so who the frick cares. Could have sold 5 or 5 million. 5 could be internally a success to valve and 5 million could be a flop.

Who the frick cares. Grow up. Get a life Black person.

It's a handheld PC, Its only goal is not losing too heavily on the cost of parts at best.

maybe if they had produced more than a million to begin with, moron
whether a product fails or not depends completely on the ammount that was produced and what the company wanted to achieve (usually profits versus investment)
in that sense, not only did the deck sell almost it's entire stock, being backlogged for months on end, but it also achieved valve's main goal of improving linux compatibility, usage rate and user awareness
