if you wineglass a balltop stick and use your thumb on it more, it takes away a lot of the inprecise feeling of a japanese stick because you are gripping it on the shaft (lol)
There are a lot of companies that make full size flat pack arcade cabinet kits, some of them will even do custom decals. If you're wanting an actual cabinet you should support a local company, they'll make bespoke shit for you and it might even be cheaper. In my country those fricking arcade 1up things are twice the price of a custom cab
At least you have access to A1up stuff, here in mexico they dont even fricking exist, theres absolutely no store that sells them. Much less 'premium' cabs, like this MvC2 one.
Doesn't count, I can't give my corporate overlords $60 for a shitty collection with awful UI and netcode so what is even the point? No one cares about these dog shit games, the entire appeal is just knowing capcom was given your money moron.
Initially was pissed since this includes all the games that came on the MVC cab, but the price right now for those is more than I payed for it so I might be able to get my money back and buy this and have money left over
I have their Midway Legacy cabinet and the side panel art is peeling off on its own. If they want to charge $600+ for these they need to improve the build quality
a few days ago an uber driver arrived with my food and as soon as i grabbed my food i heard the gta sa andreas mission complete sound coming out of his phone
I know you are just shitposting but if it actually were easy to get one of those, im sure A1up wouldnt be existing as a business at all. Despite the fact that they are only active in the US.
Don't know how much their embedded game PCB would be but I don't it was more than twenty bucks. With art and wiring and all that shit the material cost for the cabinet is like $110. Then they have to pay the licensing fee for the game, manufacturing costs, shipping, etc. No idea what that would be.
>want a Marvel vs. Collection >would gladly pay $60 + tip for it >would be a guaranteed million seller especially if it insured a Mahvel 4 >Arcade1Up can resell all the games no fricking problem >even put them all into a single collection, save for Punisher >meanwhile Capcom continues to sit on their hands doing nothing
WHY DO YOU HATE MONEY SO FRICKING MUCH CAPCOM!?
The reason why Arcade1up is able to get away with all these compilations while Capcom can't is because these home arcades are considered to be more like furniture or fan-merch than they are video games, and they don't compete with home or mobile games. When it comes to a proper home release, either Disney or Capcom see a compilation as something that could compete against a current or upcoming game. Marvel Future Fight, SF6 or even Capcom's fighting collection compilation. But this is only assuming that a disagreement between Capcom and Disney is the only thing stopping it from happening.
those cabs are also really small in person. complete and utter rip off. I'm surprised capcom can still sell mvc2 actually. I had it on PS3 but something happened and I couldn't get it working and when I tried to buy it they had discontinued selling it.
Marvel collection would be cool but i'd rather Marvel and Capcom go balls in with MvC4 first. >F2P >Everyone is here scale roster + more roadmap >full comic book aesthetic and paper shredding hitsparks >bring back Tieri the mvc3 writer
They could literally turn the decade around for fighting games and make anime fighters the butt of jokes again if they do it right.
Wasn't it DS? (July '94)
Xmen cota (december)
MvC is definitely mechanically anime, but the aesthetic is debatable. It's Japanese artists tasked with american artstyle as the target so maybe it's an awesome combination. The scenes were seperate back in the day to with some overlapping players like Mike Z.
I can’t imagine the emulation being worth the $
>Concave buttons
>Bat top
>20° angle deck
My inner 13 year old is excited, but my 30 year old wrists are screaming
Concave is based (IL parts) but the lack of curved layout is lame but thankfully there's aftermarket control decks
what angle should be used in these then? and what stick type, sphere?
i prefer bat tops over ball. more prescise movement
if you wineglass a balltop stick and use your thumb on it more, it takes away a lot of the inprecise feeling of a japanese stick because you are gripping it on the shaft (lol)
>30 year old wrists are screaming
you don't know arcade sticks or cabs
The particle wood they use in these are really expensive these days.

>Marvel vs Capcom collection comes out with online
>but only on a several hundred dollar funkopop-tier toy
lol
>Marvel vs Capcom collection comes out with online
already exists
Doesn't count, I can't give my corporate overlords $60 for a shitty collection with awful UI and netcode so what is even the point? No one cares about these dog shit games, the entire appeal is just knowing capcom was given your money moron.
First Capcom Fighting Collection with no crossplay, now a Marvel collection only on a cabinet. What is Capcom smoking?
I think this is less Capcom and more Disney/Marvel.
But yes, not having MvC1-2 on Steam is a fricking crime.
Perlmutter may be gone from Marvel but he left a nasty ass skid mark
>What is Capcom smoking?
Capcom lets Fightcade continue to exist and prosper. That is enough.
Let them milk the idiots.
Initially was pissed since this includes all the games that came on the MVC cab, but the price right now for those is more than I payed for it so I might be able to get my money back and buy this and have money left over

Reminder MvC2 with rollback is literally free on fightcade 2 right now, there is literally no need for any of capcom's bullshit.
OHHHHHHHGHHH YEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
FIGHTCADE
I SOOOOOO LOVE FIGHTING AGAINST SWEATY LOSERSS WITH TAS AND SCRIPTS TO FRICK ME OVER
SO GOOOOOOODD
>WITH TAS AND SCRIPTS TO FRICK ME OVER
Aww, it thinks it knows what its talking about, cute.
>paying over $500 for one game
Consolegays do this all the tine though?
IM GONNA TAKE YOU FOR A RIDE
>Mfw if I'm ever an Uber driver I'm gonna play this on repeat
>rating: 1 star
>driver wouldnt stop playing autistic video game music after repeatedly asked not to
>He cute tho
a few days ago an uber driver arrived with my food and as soon as i grabbed my food i heard the gta sa andreas mission complete sound coming out of his phone
Just find an Astro city or a Blast city and buy that.
Then you can spend ridiculous amounts of money on JAMMA PCBs.
I know you are just shitposting but if it actually were easy to get one of those, im sure A1up wouldnt be existing as a business at all. Despite the fact that they are only active in the US.
an arcade for manlets?
it's a candy cab bro, you sit in a chair to play instead of standing
Holy shit are you like 3 feet tall?
Only ever saw one New astro city here in ontario, dude wanted $2500
I ended up getting a chinese vewlix knockoff for like half that price. I still want a candy cab though, a duel cab being the dream.
it has net play
I would totally but this if I had friends that played fightan
>comes with a screen
>6 games
>fully assembled cabinet
>complete functioning arcade controls
how much SHOULD it cost?
less than 200 and im being very generous. $150 is more like it
The quality and amount of wood is the same as a cheap ping pong table.
Wood $65
Controls $10
LCD module $12
^alibaba wholesale prices

But they are making a killing on this thing.
>want a Marvel vs. Collection

WHY DO YOU HATE MONEY SO FRICKING MUCH CAPCOM!?
>Mahvelhomosexual doesn't realize that Arcade 1Up has the license to MvC and not Capcom.
You get what you homosexuals deserve. Now go play DBFZ.
>non-exclusive IP licenses don't exist
Of course a moronic gokuposter wouldn't know this.
Just pirate, the frickers at Amazon ask like 200 dollars for PS2 and ps1 games
I have no idea why they now censor the old japanese sunburst in new titles. It's literally not offensive to anyone yet they still censor it out.
>It's literally not offensive to anyone yet they still censor it out.
China demands it
imagine playing fighting games online? cant talk shit to your opponent so why bother?

No
If you have the tools you can build this for 4-500. You can even buy all the parts prefab for 700ish and play EVERY arcade game instead of just one
no shit sherklock, don't spoonfeed anons or we will all be fricked like it happened with the prices of crt monitors
There's already a lumber shortage and it has nothing to do with homemade arcades basedboy. You'll be fine
those cabs are also really small in person. complete and utter rip off. I'm surprised capcom can still sell mvc2 actually. I had it on PS3 but something happened and I couldn't get it working and when I tried to buy it they had discontinued selling it.
Sorry, OP. I prefer an actual fun arcade machine.
Marvel collection would be cool but i'd rather Marvel and Capcom go balls in with MvC4 first.

They could literally turn the decade around for fighting games and make anime fighters the butt of jokes again if they do it right.
But MvC is a anime fighter. It's the original anime fighter.

never get these for fighting games, emulation, screen and buttons are trash and not playable it's just furniture
