The article is reporting false information. They want people to think those mobile games are more profitable. They actually aren't but they want you to think they are so they fudge numbers, say certain things don't count and twist the parameters and metrics to suit the results they want people to see.

I play a lot of mobile games for beer money, and every game I play is always filled with 40+ year old people dropping half their paychecks on it. Then there I am trying to complete the requirement to get my money, while these boomers are making my life a living hell because they're always way stronger than I am playing for free.

I always try to join the strongest guild in the game so I don't get fricking ganked before I cash out and delete the game so I see them chatting all the time about how badass they are for spending hundreds of dollars on the game. I know they're older people because they use their facebook account photos in the games. They're online on these games almost 24/7 too like it's their whole lives which I suspect it is to them.

Note that I'm talking about games that don't have the gameplay or presentation of Diablo Immortals. I'm talking about the copy paste games like Mafia City and shit. Boomers and Koreans run these games like they're real gangs.

100 million sounds like a lot, but that's what Diablo 3 made in its first week. Genshin Impact makes BILLIONS by comparison. Diablo Immortal was a fairly big flop by gacha standards.

Except in that metaphor, Blizzard IS Michael Jackson, they just released a sequel album to thriller and everyone hates it and it tanked their public image even further, plus it didn't even make more money than the original. Indeed, what a massive failure.

everyone has already stopped playing it. I mean, I'm sure there are a couple of whales left who will keep spending, but the vast majority of people who played the game 2 months ago have quit and moved on.

I'm pretty easy going dude and don't mind throwing a hundred bucks or so a month for mobile games, but Diablo Immortal that was created to sucker in people like me, somehow I never did spend a dime on it.

Since there's no waifu in it, the only reason to spend is to get a good powertrip from the extra fast power upgrade, but the gameplay is way too lacking for me to care about the numbers going up. They removed the ragdoll effect for the enemies and it looks worse than D3 did on 360. I'm just not having fund with the game as the game is.

never played it , never going to , blizzisraeliteizzard is dead to me after the fiasco fo 3 they pulled.
i made 2k from RMAH then they shut it down and i could no longer justify playing 5-10hours a day grinding the same place so some moron buys my 80% perfect rolls for 150-250€then i saw what was going on with REALLY good rolls and i facepalmed.
to me it was a fun passtime like virtual collecting bottles and turning them into money.
i got addicted to the fact that anything i could find could be turned into paypal money , that withdrawn and turned into fricking a hot latina hooker for an hour.
i did that all the time , cant imagine ever giving out money to have a chance at getting something im sposed to get anyhow.
never buying or playing anything from blizzard.
they died with WC3TFT and WOW-Vanilla , was downhill from there with everything.
they fricking copied Teamfortress 2 and made it ... WORSE!
everything needs an oshit button , ultimates , and their own aids HP / MP / Moveset.
there is no joy to be gotten from nublizz , you are either extremely autistic or lonely , combination of both if you still have hope that anything of value will come from these greedy Black folk.

    TLDR

    >played all the blizz games from lost vikings dia1 to wc3 broodwar d2lod , wow - vanilla - tbc thats the real blizz to me everything after that turned into aids , played WOW-MOP with my longtime internet friends and i had no reason to play anything inside the game after raids were done.

What do you want us to do when you cloak gambling as a video game? I'm just curious? Do you want us to clap? Praise you as geniuses? Get on our knees and worship the very ground you walk on? Video games have been in a death spiral for at least the last decade. That's why you call them mobile games and not video games because they are completely different things and this is a board dedicated to video games. If you weren't such a stupid fricking moron you could adhere to the culture of the board and the basic rules of the website you are on. But we all know you can't do that because you are of a lower level of intelligence than even the dumbest gorilla Black person on this planet.
