If Super Mario 64 DS has a million haters, then I am one of them. If Super Mario 64 DS has ten haters, then I am one of them. If Super Mario 64 DS has only one hater then that is me. If Super Mario 64 DS has no haters, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is for Super Mario 64 DS, then I am against the world.
I've been admitting it for years. I don't know how anyone can think that fricky slog of a control scheme in the 64 version is better than this. ANYTHING is better than that.
>washed out colors >uninspired enemies redesigns >physics fricked up and not fun >proportions fricked up too
it does have more content but its 5/10 at best
No, it just isn't very good. People say it's better because it has more characters, but they don't do anything to improve the game. The new levels are no good either. Then the controls are just a mess. The game was a glorified tech demo. Rather than thinking of what game could benefit from the unique features of the DS they just slapped the only 3D Mario game that could run on it.
Never touched it >_>
>admit it
never.
Wow! Great post! Frick off, you moron.
I admit it
Terrible control scheme.
Frick no.
And I've owned that thing for nearly 20 years now.
>Luigi backflip
On a 3DS or emulated with a proper analog stick, yes.
I've played both. N64 version is better. I guess the multiplayer minigames were okay though.
>can speed through the game with Luigi
It was significantly easier, but I did have fun
True. Better graphics, more content, more levels, more characters, mini games. Sure the control scheme is worse, but it's not that terrible.
It will be when someone eventually ports all the content to the PC version.

Based. 64DS's soulless artstyle is the worst fricking thing about it.

Also the new stars are fun too. 🙂

are those houses suppose to be underwater?
Maybe
That backdrop still gives me angel egg vibes.
>nintendo didnt remaster it for the 3ds with analog movement
why??
It is. More characters to play as
You did unlock him right?
It is
Only after you mod it to allow analog control
The only redeeming quality isn't even part of the main game. And all the minigames were also available on New Super Mario Bros, with a few extras.
My homie

admit it. you only like this version because you played it as a literal child
The real hard to swallow pill is that M64DS fricked up the physics and even with a fixed control scheme it just isn't as fun and fluid as the original
The minigames were fun tho
There's a patch that lets you use analog movement now. Pretty comfy on my 3ds.
Didn't know it existed.
It was good. People who cry about muh analog controls are babies. Analog sticks are stupid and killed the industry.
