If it wasn't for the chibi art style I would have given it a chance since I love Persona 5 and strategy games like Disgaea.

What is the gameplay like?
It's "tactics" based, so like turn-based, but you move them around the map and shit, also there are new combat features like you can do some tri-attack if you position allies in a triangle.
I mean, if you're into tactical RPG's then you might like it.
Somewhat like NuXCom or MarioXCom.
