I recently bought 6800xt ,its my 3rd amd gpu over last 10 years ,never had any problem with them. AMD sofware also came a long way and is very solid now
Nvidia stated publicly that it was pushing back the 50-series to early 2025, which is unusual since they typically work in ~24-month cycles with a refresh in between. This would make it more like a ~30-month cycle. It's also interesting that they supposedly killed the 4090 refresh because it had no competition.
This could change of course, but that's the info that's currently available.
You would honestly have to be retarded to settle for amd. This was true 20 years ago. It was true 10 years ago. It's true today. It'll be true 10 years from now. Amd only ever gets better performance in extremely shit edge cases like games that nobody cares about. There's a reason they're cheaper.
>guy amd is totally good now for real! >bro pls bro just use amd go red bro >you just have to make sure to buy the exact specific ram and then edit it in the bios bro >you just need to download the newest drivers every minute and if they don't work you gotta have faith >bro pls they'll fix the drivers in 2023 I promise bro >amd superpower 2024
If you are "looking for >$300 GPU" poor you shouldn't be looking for a GPU, use integrated graphics, won't get much less performance than GPUs from said price range.
>Call it
It don't matter. These here cards all they're gonna be doing it's just upscaling. It's not even graphics anymore, don't it make you sad? Did you know they're just using fake frames these days? They expect to us pay big money for that and on top of it all the video games we play are just outsourced to the lowest bidder and all we get it just games that don't run good anymore. Heads. >Well done. How much are these peanuts?
Four bucks. >That's a lot of nuts. Don't put that quarter in your pocket, sir. It will get mixed in with the others and just become another coin ... which it is.

Cyberpunk is still the most impressive game from a graphics standpoint and the game starts with Nvidia logos.
Detroit looked better on PC which is a Vulkan game or PS4/AMD sponsored title

Never heard of it.

You'll have to shoot me because I'll need something with actual drivers

The new 7900 xtx costs the same as a 4070ti
its 200€ more. and comes without drivers and brutal power consumption. big ol yikes from me dawg
>comes without drivers
>https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-rad-win-23-9-1
Looks fine to me
It's $100 more if you get tuf 4070ti, but even so, the 7900 performs way better
>uv amd card
>it’s now a lottery what games run without crashing
no thanks
delusional shill
it’s the truth and everyone knows it. you would know it too if you actually had an amd card, undervolted and played games
should i get rtx 4080 or 4070ti?
7900xtx
both cards will be outdated once the 5000 series launches.
so buy the cheaper now
when will it launch? 5 months from now? 6? 7? i can wait because im saving up for pc anyway
1+ year
More like 1 year+. But yeah, the 4090 is the only good card in the 40xx series
1 fucking year? that is fucking long

UHHHH SOURCE?!?!?!
no actually because im thinking of upgrading next year and deciding on waiting or buying a 4090
40 series is a clusterfuck, get a 30 series or wait for the 5000s unless you have retard money to burn
>unless you have retard money to burn
must be hard being poor, thanks for the info though

every now and then black squares appear on my screen in a sort of grid, should I be worried
3060ti btw
OC?
no
try the usual stuff, maybe it isn't properly seated, the cable is lose or you need a new driver
if the usual stuff doesn't work, run timespy or some stresstest, if you get artifacts you should try undervolting, don't be stupid about it tho
what's the most you ever lost to AMD budget pc parts?
Building an all AMD rig this fall. I've had enough of Intel and NVIDIA's trickery.
>Building an all AMD rig this fall. I've had enough of Intel and NVIDIA's trickery.
Looking forward to your „I feel for the amd meme“ thread bro
I did this. The only issue I have had so far is that my RAM sticks were busted.
Imagine falling for scAMD
At least they are no slower than 3060 Ti‘s

any other choice is retarded
been using this combo during the last 15 years... how much am I going to get cucked if I grab an AMD gpu?

Sirs?
DLSS is too good
lol
just woke up from a 10 years coma.
Are DLSS and FSR the reason why every screen/webm I see these days looks like a blurry mess?
no, that’s because of TAA
>go to Ganker
>ask for a low budget GPU for some minor gaming
>they all recommend me $300++ stuff
If you are "looking for >$300 GPU" poor you shouldn't be looking for a GPU, use integrated graphics, won't get much less performance than GPUs from said price range.
why did low budget GPUs dissappeared?
what is the 2023 equivalent of 750 ti?
Miners literally burnt through them.
RTX 3060, probably.
If you are looking to not spend money on a part, buy something used. You'll get far better performance than what you'll get buying the same new.
