I'd agree with, except that Sonic directly stopped Shadow from killing Eggman in these comics. Chaotix were uncertain, but decided to let Sonic pick, but Shadow wasn't having any of that. He also was the one to get Tails to fix Metal up, which directly caused Eggman to regain his memories.
