I can already tell by the branding that it is not worth the price.

    It’s true that it’s expensive.
I have one, the image is super sharp on TV4k, no input lag either

A carby clone on ali is all you need for top quality unless you want fast shipping. I guess it supports honest small business to get these expensive ones if you have a big heart and a big cock

wouldn't it make more sense to just get a quality line-doublerupscaler?
then you can hook up any system you want instead of just one?

the tink2pro or ossc seems to be more cost-effective & universal

    >$180 for an upscaler for 1 console
    >$3 for lube
    You're gonna need it.

It's not an upscaler, it's pretty much the closest thing to native HDMI that a pre-HDMI console can get.

      >tfw only have the gamecube without the digital output port
what's the best I can do for video quality?

S-Video if US/JP, RGB if PAL.

Yeah just need to make sure it's not pulling out composite signal. Pretty sure a rad2x will pull rgb out of a pal cube and convert to hdmi. For ntsc cube, might need an svideo cable and HDMI converter. Or even better skipping hdmi straight into a CRT or some kind of awesome scaler. To be clear, pal cube outputs rgb which is pretty close to as good as the digital port. And ntsc cube puts out s video which looks pretty good

Which "the gamecube without the digital output port" version do you have?

Become educated enough to describe your problem with enough detail to allow knowledgeable people to provide an answer you can act on?
      Become unpoor?
Become knowledgeable and acquire the skills required to use daddy's tools?

i use a composite upscaler and it looks fine anon
even the hyperkin "hdmi" cord works ok
there is SOME latency with that
so if youre hardcore into shmups you wont like it
but it passes the mario test just fine

        if you have multiple systems
i suggest getting an ossc or 2xpro tink
or maybe roll the dice on the knockoff 2x pro thats all over ebay/amazon

This it worked perfectly. The purpose of the post was to force dumb kids to face their inadequacies. They respond in a very predictable way.

Wrong, and indicative of how out of touch you are.

Lurk moar...... at least until you get something resembling a clue.

not everyone has the equipment to do their own soldering
Not everyone has the time to invest in learning that skill set

you are just a straight up bully

lmao at this literal wind up toy running around barking. Maybe at home or school throwing a trantrum gets you what you want. Here it's only going to get you laughed at.

Bingo! Read the entire rest of the post that's not the one line that stuck in your neurotic little insecure underage head.

      and to clarify
i have both versions of the cube
using an s-video cable on both yields basically the same result
and when into a (non-ypbpr) CRT basically indistinguishable
