Just because you can think of a reason or theme as to why it could work doesn't mean it's a good idea, lavaslugknight would be retarded, shellwheels or not.
Like giving a bipedal cartoon tiger a fur pattern that looks like a shirt with torn sleeves doesn't mean you've created an awesome concept for a wrestler pokemon, all you've done is you gave a shitty cartoon cat an excuse to have "clothes" that are ugly.
>In medieval times a lot of fighting manuals show knights fighting with snails. We don't really know why but the assumption is that it was one of early memes/shitposts. >There's a specie of snails with shells and scales on their body made from iron that live near volcanic vents in ocean. > Knight...snails... > Iron...snails...volcanic... > It also helps that said snail is reddish in color, and no Slugma/Magcargo is not referencing it because said snail was discovered after release of GS.
I would say that there's quite a damn few things to connect these two concepts and make pretty damn cool Pokemahnz. You can even do some silly twist with it being ""convergent""/meme form of Escavaller, another Iron-clad snail Pokemon.
I like the idea of the shell getting bigger, the body of Slugma slowly cooling down to turn into more shell until it eventually completely fossilizes. Maybe a third evo could be one that's majority shell, with the Pokemon looking encumbered underneath it
I don't get what this is suppose to be
Slugking
Does he wear the shell because he's embarrassed of his ginormous bulbous head?
Give him back his head. Him having no head makes him look terrible.
>Fire Slug
>Volcano Snail
>MEDIEVAL SNAIL KNIGHT MADE OUT OF LAVA
here's your cross-gen evolution bro
I can dig it. Shell turns into a flame wheel that acts like a chariot

actually youre onto something
"Improvement" means that something is getting better, not worse.

it looks fuckin’ stupid, like a shittier Slowking
just do one where the inner Slugma turns into metal along with the shell
you know i never really thought about it but Magcargo really could use an evolution
It really doesn't
Yes it does, just not whatever that fuck is going on in OP
No, Magcargo needs a stat buff of 100 and a better ability. Not an ugly abomination that evolves from it and does nothing for Magcargo itself.
Why’d you post the old stats? It was buffed by 20 points in gen 7
he looks like Dr Zoidberg
Slugma already is perfect
magrgo
Should be one of those iron filing slugs
