Are any of the following VNs good? I've read Zero escape, danganronpa, maggot baits, starless, higurashi and ace attorney
>11eyes
>Remember17 and Ever11
>Demonbane
>Full Metal Muramasa
>Swan Song
>Little Busters
>G Senjou
>Subahibi
>hanachirasu
>the entire science adventure series
I really like sci-fi and I think I can get into chuuni stuff.

11eyes is pretty typical shounen chuuni shit
Remember11 is nonstop mystery that asks you to think, Ever17 is more in line with other VNs in that it has character routes for girls but still has a serious plot behind it
Demonbane is also chuuni but is over the top and owns it
Muramasa is chuuni with a serious point to it
Dunno swan song or little busters
G-Senjou is dogshit pretending it's intelligently written
Subahibi is pretentious as fuck and sort of okay once you get past that
Hanachirasu I don't know but it seems pretty alright on the chuuni list and not too long
SciAdv I would say just read the improved Noah translation that came out, and if you like it read C;C, and read S;G regardless. S;G 0 you can ignore if you want, R;N everyone seems to like but I haven't read, R;N Dash no one likes
awesome thanks bruv
Pretty good take, also read all of OPs list. I really recommend the Infinity series and any Nitroplus chuuni, pretty much the best of the VN medium. Also check out Baldr Sky if you like AI and mech shit.
and Ever11
lol
I recommend Remember11 and G Senjou. Ever17 is good, but has a slow start and takes some time for things to start to happen. Subahibi is interesting, but it is hard to digest, it is not for everyone. I did not play the others. I also recommend Tsukihime remake, the original/first Utawarerumono, and Sharin no Kuni (same studio as G-Senjou).
>Little Busters
Pure kino
Actually, the character routes arent all that, but the true end route is worth it.
From what I’ve read on that list:
Ever17 and Remember 11 are must plays
Subahibi is entertaining and we’ll written but it can be really horrific with its subject matter, so that might put you off.
G Senjou no Maou is fucking great, I really like how it handles character endings. The main ending twist is extremely retarded but it’s a very fun VN
Little Busters is sweet and funny but you have to do all the routes to get the main ending and the girls are a lot less fun than hanging out with your bros in the main story.
The science adventure games vary in quality, Steins Gate is incredible, Chaos Head has a great protag with a middling mystery and some really poor endings, Robotics Notes is extremely comfy and Chaos Child is a bit like a diluted Chaos Head where the mystery is more engaging but it has a bit less character and atmosphere, despite still being pretty unique and melancholic.
If you already like sci-fi go with your top and bottom suggestions and if you want to test the waters for chuunige, play Dies Irae
>girls are a lot less fun than hanging out with your bros
Oh so its realistic
Dies Irae is top tier chuunige. I love that goddamn VN.
Swan Song is good
S;G is the best in story but the way it organises routes is a bit weird to me
Remember11 is pretty good but the ending is trash.
Ever17 is so-so, has a lot of replaying the same parts, but the true route is great.
I dropped Subahibi at the 3rd or 4th chapter, I didn't like it at all.
I like Remember11 I thought that both of the endings in the original were really cool and the true ending that we could have gotten would have made it an all time classic, based on the clues we got and the bad ending you can get just before the main Yukidoh ending. Ever17 is a delightful game, I was really invested the whole way through. I’ll agree with you on Subahibi though, I understand the appeal but it was really hard to stomach
>True Ending
It literally never existed, both the authors have said this. They said that if they had time to implement it there would be a few more bad endings, the entire point of the VN is that there is no "true" ending.
Oh and Baldr Sky, but I hear its part of a massive superseries?
Baldr Sky's story is really quite mediocre. Top tier gameplay though
Each Baldr game is stand alone, but yeah the other anon is right. Baldr Sky's story is mediocre, but it has decent moments and the world building is great. Baldr Force's story is a lot better even if its gameplay feels dated coming from Sky. Doesn't have that anime bullshit story elements that drags on like Sky does.
Baldr Sky could have cut down the script by 50% but I still think it was great, and the bad/normal endings all do something interesting unlike most VNs
Kikokugai
Forget vns, read a book
Oh great it's THESE fags, as if "books" aren't as wildly varied as VNs
In english kusoge
In japanese kamige
true
how's tokyo necro?
Generic shonen shit for 2 routes
Cuckshit in true route
From that list:
>Little Busters for great SoL and overall cast
>Sci Adv for chuuni kino and light sci fi
>Ever17 for MIND HACK tier tweests
Soley talking about Muramasa here but its very chuuni and if your not into that it will fall short for you That being said if you get it, its fucking amazing i finished it last year and a day doesnt go by that i dont think about the game and the whole OST
You will spend about 70 hours (took me 82) but i never felt bored at any moment
>started reading swan song
MAMMA MIA
Muramasa is really cool, but it's not for people that can't handle the ending not being happy or the setting not bending over backwards to make every villain pay
Who is like that, Americans?
My problem with it is how much the true route invalidates the Muramasamans of the other routes making him a complete bumbling idiot in comparison in them.
i enjoyed muramasa alot tbh, and i barely read VNs anymore since i dont have time for these due to my backlog and amount of time i can play freely everyday. im currently downloading tokyo necro just to check it out. and waiting for tsukihime remake's ciel route to be finally translated.
