I've heard some people like them, but I also heard some people compared them to 13 because it's sort of a hall way simulator in some ways is that true?
Are the Final Fantasy 10 games any good?

X is certainly linear, but it's worth playing at least once. I've never played X-2. You should definitely play V if you haven't though.
There's a reason why X is the second most popular FF after VII. It's just a shame SE ignores it while constantly fellating the VII shit.
SE sucks and should never be allowed to touch FFX ever again.
If you are a woman yes its good go play it sweetheart 🙂
FFX and FF7 are the only good FF games.
FFX
>Decent enough combat
>Sphere Grid is a fun customization system
>Good cast of characters, nobody feels irrelevant except Khimari.
>Interesting fish out of water story that doesn't get too convoluted
>Good music
>Pretty linear progression
>mediocre voice acting
FFX-2
>Combat feels faster and more rewarding for mastering it
>Dressspheres are basically jobs, which is a good system but you might miss how unique each character felt in X
>more nonlinear straight from the beginning
>somehow worse voice acting
>retarded story
>mostly bad music
They both reuse mostly the same map and Spira itself has a great atmosphere.
>original music good
>sequel music bad
it's sad they managed to do this twice with the only games to get sequels
Cool Yuna and Shopuff cosplay
10 is great but linear
X-2 is pretty fun but the story is pretty much Precure, but ganeplay is great
FFX has the best practical implementation of what Active Time Battle set out to achieve (CTB)
FFX-2 has the best overall implementation of "true" Active Time Battle in any RPG.
>FFX-2 has the best overall implementation of "true" Active Time Battle in any RPG.
its such a shame that outside of battle, the game is fucking garbage.
i just dont like how the game is set up and its progression.
mirin the size of that unit
X is very linear, but is the best RPG hallway ever. The postgame is a gigantic grind for the sake of it,
X-2 has the best ATB combat, lots of things to discover for that completion % and great job system, but the plot is bad, specially when it gets serious.
Never played x-2 because my ps2 was in the living room and I didn't want my family to think I was a gay. Was ffx-2 any good?
yes, very good
good story, relatable characters, fun combat, and great music
My biggest problem with 10 is that Zanarkand isn't the whole game.
Zanarkand lasts less than twenty minutes, how did you had time to think that?
ffx2 combat and RPG elements were top notch -> everything else was shit (except tara strong)
ffx combat was good, but is boring now -> everything else is 'ok'
Tidus is unlikable and looks stupid.
You're unlikable and you look stupid.
Skinny-fat basement nerd detected. Raging against the tanned jock stud who saves the world, kills his father and fucks the girl.
Welllllll he ain't my brudda but the boy is heavy.
FFX is the best FF game. Anyone trying to compare FF13 to it is literally retarded. Go play the PS2 version, NOT the HDemake.
They probably compare them because they're from the same team. XIII was good btw. Not as good as X, but still good.
13 sucks except for the music and Fang x Vanille. Otherwise it's like a guide specifically on how not to make a JRPG.
X also sucks except for the side activities
Why is the HD remake so ugly? And how did nobody at the studio stop them? Did no one say, "Hey guys, this actually looks kind of shit".
What the fuck man.
Saving a few bucks by outsourcing (in this case to chinks) is as old as animated media, anon.
Another smear campaign by the Al-Bhed.
I don't think he is going to throw or kick that blitz ball anytime soon lads.
It's basically FF13 with unskippable cutscenes and a boring battle system.
The music is nice though.
>I also heard some people compared them to 13 because it's sort of a hall way simulator in some ways is that true?
Yes. It's literally the same director
Retirement's a bitch, eh Wakka?
