>Yoshi's Story does gimmick abilities on SNES >OMG BEST 2D GAME EVER >Sonic Colors does the exact same shit >REEE, shit game
One of the best Sonic games
It's le ebin Redditchan /vee/ meme that le Sonic le never le was le good and le never can be le good. If you don't le mindlessly repeat that, le you le don't le belong le on le moast le ebin le website le on le interweb tubes.
I don't appreciate how every single alternate path got locked behind wisps, but compared to the blocky stop and go plataforming and lack of proper 3D sections outside of Asteroid Coaster the wisps weren't that bad
It's really good and way fricking better than Unleashed, anyone who doesn't agree is coping and was born after Y2K so their opinion should be promptly discarded.
Better, maybe, but WAY better? Ehh. Colors has too many filler stages and 2D sections to be considered truly good. >but the Werehog
No, no I get it. That's not much better either. I guess I just don't see the gap between the two games as very wide in terms of overall quality. I think I'd lean more towards Unleashed if only for the sheer production values, but I acknowledge Colors has its stronger points too. At least there's no fricking medal grinding to unlock stages, for one thing. Point is, I think we're dealing with a "6.5 vs a 7/10" situation here.
Colors has stronger high points but the consistancy in Unleashed is hard to beat. Even the side stages are really fun in Unleashed while they're just a chore in Colors.
What consistency? Unleashed is amazing for about an hour of its six hour runtime, otherwise it's middling at best and infuriatingly incompetent at worse.
I'd argue Colors is the one that gets points for consistency despite it never reaching the same highs as Unleashed.
in the day levels. They are all consistantly fun and the hubs and story are some of the best in the series. Even the early werehog levels aren't that bad. A lot of people complain about them but they don't really get that bad until spagonia, and then again in empire city. I had a lot of fun with it outside of those stages. Especially in the ice country.
The levels are so boring and stale, the boss fights are so repetitive and the power ups only break the flow even more.
This is without even bringing up how moronicly juvenile the story is.
You need to be an actual flaming homosexual to enjoy this so their opinion is to be promptly discarded
Sonic Colors for the wii sucks ass. Easily the worst boost game before Forces came along. Its levels take no advantage of the boost and feel like janky platformer levels meant for another game entirely.
Sonic Colors DS however....
This, even Forces has fans when Adventuregays claimed no one liked Forces and it was somehow worse than 06. And will all the asskissing Frontiers got I'm sure Kishitmotogays are now becoming a thing like it was for Naka back in the day.
I am still a fan. The setting is nice, OST amazing and the game doesnt overstay its welcome. Wish the levels were a bit more fleshed out like in Unleashed or Generations thats its only shortcoming.

the problem is that colors was marketed as the new 3d game and it’s level design in general is ass

The frick makes you think an invidiual Sonic game has its own fandom? It's one of the better new Sonic games and that's about it

Whoever decided that 3D sonic needed 2D sections should be domed.
Right here.

Tell me why we should listen to braindead bonobos like this

There is no notable Sonic game that does not have its fans.

I FRICKING LOVED THE DS GAME
SOUNDTRACK WAS AMXING AND SO WAS THE INTRO

it's cute and I like it. Hardcore sonic fans can go kill themselves because there is nothing hardcore about sonic.
