Yes, quite a lot actually. I've got about 15 hours so far but I don't like my background or traits very much so I think I'm going to start over and choose different ones.
I'm starting to get it a little more. I didn't like it at first and found it very boring but it's growing on me. But you did lie, Todd. You did lie about what this game would be. The setting itself is immensely boring as well. Your writers should be embarrassed. "Neon", "Crimson Fleet", "United Colonies", "Credits", "Frontier", "Constellation", it just goes on and on. It's like narrative Ambien. That aspect feels like no one cares.
>The setting itself is immensely boring as well >"Neon", "Crimson Fleet", "United Colonies", "Credits", "Frontier", "Constellation"
Learn to identify kino, idiot. Because that's kino.
Too busy fighting giant robots. I might give your game a try but I've also got BG3 to get through.
Should give modders a chance to fix the performance issues, ice only got a 3080 after all
Unironically yes. Thanks for making a game that perfectly appeals to me at the expense of apparantly a lot of people hating it (could use less ugly npcs though)
Surprisingly kinda. I hated Skyrimjob and both of his Fallouts but I'm kinda having fun. Finished the Vanguard quest line and damn that was kinda cool. I genuinely thought I would hate this. Luckily you can mod in Gaypiss version so I was able to remove a lot of the annoying shit I didn't like and kinda having fun. Enough to keep playing for now. Bravo Todd.
Still an uggo game that runs like shit on my 3090 tho.
I was impressed by how well written the UC Vanguard quest line was. Haven't done that many of the other main quests though to compare.
>I was impressed by how well written the UC Vanguard quest line was. Haven't done that many of the other main quests though to compare.
Me either. Don't have a lot of free time between work and wife but I was about to start the main quest and decided to go through the Vanguard quest line first and glad I did. Very cool. Got a lot of great gear, and getting to see aliens right away was great. Didn't expect side quests to be so good. Hopefully the game keeps up that pace and I have more time to play soon.
Also why can't we keep Percival in our party? He's voiced by the guy who played Jet Black in Cowboy Bebop. I want him to join me on my space cowboy adventures. How could they tease us like this?
Oh shit I didn't even realize that was Jet. I even had my character named Jet too. We have Adam Jensen as a companion at least and I've encountered Akechi once although it was a minor character. I think Robbie Daymond voiced other people as well though.
>Oh shit I didn't even realize that was Jet
Yea he puts on a slightly different voice but I about lost it when I realized it was him. A shame we can't keep him. Who is Elias Toufexis voicing (Adam Jensen)? Don't want to miss out on that companion. Does he say, "I never asked for this" at any point?
Guaranteed to come across Jensen relatively soon as he pops up as part of the main constellation quest. He's Sam Coe, the cowboy guy you might've seen in prerelease footage and whatnot. Idk if he says "I never asked for this" probably not.

Thanks senpai, that is motivation to stop fucking off and get on the main quest. Even cooler that he's a cowboy.

He does say it.
The character is a bit lame, but I guess that's true for every character in the game.
I was impressed by how well written the UC Vanguard quest line was. Haven't done that many of the other main quests though to compare.
>youtube video advertises you are going to be flying space missions until you become fucking wedge antilles.
Reality: 1 flying mission, not counting tutorial, then you go do 99 ground missions vs minibosses, 99 backstab missions, 99 politican missions, 99 le grey morals crap, the end
also every NPC is dark skinned except the robot and the disavowed admiral.
what did they mean by this
all the questlines are written by different people, is why
the whole game is like that, actually
you have some legitimately good shit here and there, and then some of the dumbest decisions ever made at the same time
Just feels like a game that had zero direction, just a million people all just throwing ideas at the wall, none of which gets expanded on, they just all get thrown in bare bones.
yes Tman im enjoying it but im kind of wishing i had waited a year instead. it would probably be a lot better to play the game for first time with tons of mods filling out some of the more flawed parts of the game.
Unironically, there is a lot to like about Starfield. And also a lot to be disappointed by. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'm leaning towards "might be good with mods".
I'm not sure Todd. In terms of gameplay the exploration, quest design and combat are super basic, but after getting used to how shit those are the world is quite beautiful and it's easy to turn my brain off to your game after a day of work. Despite all the loading screens there is a good flow there.
The writing though, jesus christ. Is it really that hard to just hire a few writers?
the main quest gives you something that causes enemies to drop aggro momentarily, its comically overpowered for sneak attack builds
I did Ryujin first, it gives you something thats very good for persuasion builds
piloting 4 is also amazing, I bought abyss seeker and trimmed it down a little, gave it a workshop and a captains quarters, its a super comfy mobile home
UC, Crimson, and Cowboys I haven't gotten to yet. I desperately hope you can join the crimson fleet and destroy that UC supercruiser
dont pick up anything but guns and ammo
contraband alone will be all the money you ever need, its the 'end dungeon chest' a good portion of the time, and you can even steal it from some jail areas
there are no resource bottlenecks, you can buy everything everywhere
Don't care about anything else. Then again, I am an awesome space bounty hunter Han Solo type.
Keep picking everything up, nerd.
>just modded my game to give vendors infinite creds
you're lucky people fix your game for you, todd >there's no good COOM mods out yet
where the fuck are the plump jiggly BRAPPThog bodies and futanari cocks?
also >not picking up everything worth money
NGMI
well, back to digipicking that safew and jumppacking back to my ship to sell shit in 48 hours when the mod kicks in >if i'm lucky my captains bed'll have long 1hour sleep from the current solar system
then back to the ol' killing pirates and boarding the last one standing for contraband hehe yep *siiiip
>find factory that produces mechs >in the war they were basically wmds >can't pilot your own mech
no todd your game just reminded me I should be playing a better game.
yes, just ng+2 and i've decided i don't care about different variants to reload a save over and over again for something i may or may not like
i am now going through the rest of the game, gonna explore, make outposts, do faction questlines and side quests, etc, just hate how long it takes to get all the crafting perks
You lose everything except your skills, level and research. You go to a new world. You are given a space suit that takes up all three equipment slots, and cannot be modified. You are given a space ship that cannot be modified, and has a unique cloaking mechanic that makes it borderline broken in combat. You never need to worry about modifying any equipment besides weapons again, you never need to pick up a space suit again, you never need to touch the ship builder again. You don't need to worry about accruing credits, because it is all going to go away with the next NG+. You don't need to worry about companion affinity, because it's going to go away with the next NG+. You don't need to worry about building outposts, because on top of the fact that they will go away, they also only feed you resources for modifications that you no longer need. Just go gather artifacts, do temple puzzle, repeat, forever. It's the most nihilistic shit ever. I suggest telling your true self or whatever the fuck that thing is to fuck off, and then stay in your original universe. I wish that I had.
That suit is garbage, literally 3 pieces of white trash have better armor, the only thing it has going for it are the traits but you can have THREE whole legendaries rather than just one if you unequip that piece of shit
This is why I didn't do any mainline faction quests or anything really before going NG+2, then i realized i never wanted to find more temples again except for when I decide to in my current universe, which I will now build outposts, explore planets and do quests.

I'm thinking about doing everything important before finishing the main quest so I can then fuck around with NG+
Honestly Todd, it has this weird thing where it's fucking boring and then interesting. I've seen nothing like it, but I'm not hating on it either. Right now I'm in a boring part and then started paying Forza.
Seems like you guys really bit off more than you could chew, game started to dip into development hell, you practically gave up and Microsoft saved you just BARELY enough by bringing in the sweatshop labor. Seems like the leaks about the game nearly being "the next cyberpunk 2077" were true.
no https://youtu.be/jGL0gk-qjRU
I've seen you shill your videos in 100 different threads the last 3 days. Stop.
Toddlet is 53 years young and still sounds like a pre-pubescent boy.
adrenochrome
Yes, Todd-san
no offense Todd, thas a gud gaem
Everything post 2010 is bullshit
Yes, quite a lot actually. I've got about 15 hours so far but I don't like my background or traits very much so I think I'm going to start over and choose different ones.
you can get rid of traits by doing some quest.
Which quest? I haven't heard of that.
You can console command it to change everything
of course todd
chudcord defence force at the rescue!
Fuck. meant to quote OP
No.
I'm enjoying all the mainline games by Todd, very few games are as enjoyable.
I'm starting to get it a little more. I didn't like it at first and found it very boring but it's growing on me. But you did lie, Todd. You did lie about what this game would be. Yes Todd thank you
I live in your light as always, Todd-sama.
Kind of?
I am 80 hours in and still unsure
No, fuck you
Yes. Thank you for asking, Todd.
Too busy fighting giant robots. I might give your game a try but I've also got BG3 to get through.
Should give modders a chance to fix the performance issues, ice only got a 3080 after all
Enjoyed for one playthrough, no reason to play it more. Doesnt have the longevity of skyrim, Todd.
>Game that only just came out doesn't have the longevity of a game with 10 years worth of modding support
wow no shit
Not for the last 12 years, no.
Of course I am Todd
Unironically yes. Thanks for making a game that perfectly appeals to me at the expense of apparantly a lot of people hating it (could use less ugly npcs though)

I'm not even playing it. Everything I saw and read about it killed all my interest.
I can't run your game worth a damn with a Nvidia card, Todd. Fix your damn game for PC.
I hope Todd dies.
No, I'll pirate it again in a couple of years when mods and expansions make it decent. So far it's just not good.
Yes
For me to poop on!
Unironically, there is a lot to like about Starfield. And also a lot to be disappointed by. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'm leaning towards "might be good with mods".
i was gonna download a crack and play it but it looks like shit so im not even gonna bother with that and just play RE 1 again
I'm not sure Todd. Yes anon it's pretty hard, I need to remake Skyrim for the new Switch. Please understand.
No, not at all Todd. It's Nice that you came here to ask, but... It's boring, sorry.
moron, i haven't bought a single one of your games since fallout 3. you're trash, my dude. consider suicide

overencumbered/full ship cargo simulator is getting pretty fucking annoying

I haven't played it and I don't appreciate your fake sincerity as if you give a fuck
fuck todd and fuck you
wtf eewww no go away creep

No, you’re a hack and it’s time to retire
where is tes6 todd
Yes, skyrim is still great after all those years, and it run incredibly well on the switch.
I did up to NG+, and then I immediately hated it.
Why's that anon? I think im close to finishing it.

No, I haven't play a game you made since Fallout 3, Todd. Happy for your success, though.
I'm playing No Man's Sky instead
It's okay. Not that great. Just okay.

This game looks like butt.
