The twist is that Rubicon was a toy car factory providing toy cars to the whole system before the fire. They are toys scattered on the surface of the planet.
>people talking about allmind being part of the plot
i don't understand how this is going to happen, and i'm quite deep in chapter 4. Is this a second playthrough thing
>The charged attacks doesn't seem to have any pierce and just stops at the first enemy it encounters.
this is really fucking stupid why make an aoe that can't even mass wipe trash?
Because it is common. The 6 missile version of a 10 missile launcher is the same lesser function theory you see throughout the game.

Anonymous
The 6 missile and 10 missile ones for horizontal launchers are actually pretty different. The former gets the missiles out much much much faster. Like it shoots 6 missiles before the 10 shoots its first 6 missiles
Balance. The red one is the same as the blue one but doing more damage and impact but you get it much later than the blue one.
Later parts have higher average stats than starter gear.

moonlight is nearly an endgame gear
and in this game scaling is shit, some stuff you get right away or a hour in can easily beat stuff you get hours later
3 weeks ago
Anonymous
you get it in NG. The game has NG++.
Moonlight is not end game gear. Scaling isn't shit either since the Redshift is clearly stronger since it is NG++.
Same reason your energy weapons don't go through enemies to kill entire lines of them. Coral does do that though and you will later get access to a Coral Moonlight.
It's both rusty and iguazu they just fulfill different tropes. Rusty isn't the gay rival, he's the protag but it isn't his story kind of rival.
Iguazu is just a gay and fails in every possible way a gay rival can fail all jammed into a small runtime so his antics seem dialed up.
I am interested in this game, but I am worried since it's made by fromshitware. Is this game also tedious and pretentious slop, or did someone force fromshit to make a decent game for a change with actual substance?
I already said it sounded like a discord shitpost you don't have to do this sister. Your anger has been acknowledged you can go back to trying to grooming minors somewhere else now.
I thought you were leaving the thread?
Oh wait, you're just here to shitpost because that's all you have left in your worthless "life". Suffer more, useless dreg.
Who was it? I assumed it was another Rubiconian coral schizo or Carla but they both refer to a third 'friend' in one of their conversations about Xylem.
Why does Carla refer to a third person as their friend when talking to Walter then? I can't remember the exact like but I wasn't misinterpreting it. It was one of those post-mission conversations in the garage.
I did it for my faithful waifu, Ayre. And that old hag Carla tried to kill me (and succeeded a few times) with her oversized Roomba killing machine for no good reason, so she deserved it. Chatty was alright but that's what you get for simping a granny.
>I will probably feel bad I have to kill Carla.
I did at first before realizing that bitch spams infinite missiles the entire fight and Chatty's AC is the single most annoying one in the game. Fuck the both of them
Remember this dumb bitch is friends with Walter and still tried to kill his merc multiple times the moment she met you. Fuck her. First impressions matter and she’s a salty backstabbing bitch.
Same, nice to see a fellow anti-voice-actors-guild chad. That insufferable cunt had some undeserved arrogant comment in every single mission, even the fucking arena of all places. I enjoyed watching Chatty grieve.
So wait, the unique attribute of the ship legs is you can float indefinitely? It's pretty neat, actually. Not sure if it's practical for any of the missions other than cheesing the smart cleaner.
If you like tanks you can use it it frame cancel the windup of grenade and bazooka shots. Just activate the shield as you fire and it'll fly out and fuck up the early warning for your opponents and AI
>Spend most of the game being a shitter and using a heavy mech and a tank to steamroll stuff >Chapter 4 starts >Fuck it, I'm going to make something FAST >Make a lightweight mech that uses a laser shotgun, plasma missiles and a sword for stagger punishes >Move like a pissed off cheetah >Can dodge most things >victories now feel cool as hell
I'm converted. Tanky mechs are boring and too easy, fast and light is the way to go.
How rude. Unless you use the Sazabi legs, heavy mechs with spring chicken legs offer a good balance of mobility, durability and multiple options for firepower.
I used almost all dafeng parts most of the game and it was fine, as long as you use the right booster and generator for your weight class you will have more than enough mobility and EN to handle anything
Missiles are primarily a tool for forcing enemies into going a certain direction so you can hit them when they get there or as they are trying to get out of the way of your missiles, that they good damage and stagger if not respected is a bonus
Learn what missiles make enemies do and where they go and you can really bully them
god the whip is fucking godlike in pvp, the speed, stun damage and tracking during dashes is insane
its a shame that the charged attack is maybe the worst attack in the game
Yeah I cant use the whip in single player either, but in pvp it has insane amount of tracking for some reason
In my experience the range is too short for PvP because any mech faster than me (all of them) can escape its range with a single qb backwards.
The secret is to use it in the middle of a dash while chasing them when they have their stagger bar half full. Against light ACs, one whip strike will fill half their stagger bar. I also wouldn't recommend the whip on a heavy build
>while chasing
I'm slower than them so they're always out of the range or can get out of range with one qb. If the weapon only slightly works on light ACs then that's just a shit weapon I guess. I'm going to keep using it because it's the only plasma melee weapon but like I said, in my experience the range is just complete dogshit. I especially don't like when the first hit connects and the second hit misses. It does do good stagger, especially vs ACs, dumpstered the Arena ACs using it.
The range is really short but it shines in 3v3. It's very fast and will get you free kills if you don't zero in on someone.
When you see a big fight breaking out skirt around the edge of it whipping into the scrum. You WILL get kills.
cause im a lame ass kingdom hearts fan and ever since i was a kid, the star seeker keyblade has always been my favorite keyblade and name everything after it
>the star seeker keyblade has always been my favorite keyblade
You might be a total fuckin' loser for admitting that out loud, but you have impeccable taste in keyblades
I respect that you found something you like and stuck with it. Could probably use an astrology term like Grand Trine not that one since people will probably assume it's One Piece related Luminary could work
I haven't looked much online, but have you guys ACs with a racing car theme?
I want my Lightweight to look like one but making emblems for it would probably take a bit of time.
Why does everyone want to play on the desert map online? There's nothing, no buildings to hide and ambush, there's just one crater and that's all?
I feel like in every online games players want to go to the shittiest map.
2 zimms 2 stun launchers.
Jumped in to her then panicked and backpedaled when she went berserk. Turns out that own zones her. When she tries to lunge you over and over again it turns into Serious Sam.
Bubble gun to destroy her shield in phase 1, for the rest bash your head against the wall until you beat with your current build.
Don't submit to the zimzom.
wheelchair and needles
the key was realising that Ayre can't hit shit after you obtain enough boost (300 something), also helps with the rest of the game
left: laser lance + bubble gum
right: detonating bazooka + stun needle cannon
Also built the mech for energy defense instead of trying to dodge that goddamn sword combo. I'm glad there are multiple options for shitters so I can feel good about not going for the most obvious one. Thanks From
1 linear rifle + assault rifle and double the starting missiles.
Just staying mid-range and focusing on dodging made it easier, that's also how I S ranked it.
It was on NG so bubble gun, moonlight, I think I had the laser drones by then and I think vertical missiles. I knew as long as I could get past phase 1 I had a decent chance of winning. Ended up cutting it real close iirc literally on the last HP point thanks to terminal shield kicking in. Bubble gun also ran out of ammo partway through the 2nd phase so I had to learn what combo'd in a stagger between kicks, punchs and moonlight.
Speaking of design ideas, I recently built this medium weight mech and while I like how it looks I can't decide on a paintjob/decals.
Hell, I haven't even named it.
Speaking of design ideas, I recently built this medium weight mech and while I like how it looks I can't decide on a paintjob/decals.
Hell, I haven't even named it.
I can't get past Balteus. I'm fucking terrible at this game. Please explain how you beat him. I hear about people doing it on the 3rd try while I spend 8 hours straight and then give up and go to bed
I did it first try.
The secret was I assumed I'd be one of those 8 hour ragers like most people seem to be so I just made a mad dash at it at all times. I used a bazooka, double missile launchers and was still using the first sword you start with, which it hates.
Basically, go right in there and wail on him. Don't worry about dodging his shit, getting in close makes him very inaccurate.
Use 2 of the bubble SMGs and you will melt his shield within seconds. Then run a sword and something else with good stagger, probably a bazooka or grenade launcher
What are you playing to be stuck for 8 hours? Try a lightweight mech and huh, dodge? Use super boost to go through the missile barrage. Use a bubble to get the shield down faster. Don't leave him go to the other side of the map alone follow him. Learn to manage your EN to always have some in store in case you need to urgently get out of the way maybe use a different generator.
Stick close to him, use assault boost to chase him whenever he flies away. Use pulse sword to wreck the shield and to punish stagger. Spam missiles as soon as they reload and lock on. Make some space when phase 2 starts and prepare to dodge the flames.
bubble gun IS ass
here's the real set up
Shoulder: Vvc-70VPM x2
Arms: Vvc-760PR
either double up on the plasma guns or off hand the starting sword
assault boost towards when it stops to shoot missile, this helps avoid lots of them
get assault armour in OS tuning its amazing, pretty sure it a full shield break on its own
be aggrieve, if you take sword try use it after a stagger if you can, it has a bonus modifier
TRUENO doesn't seem that popular online. I find it very cool. It's only 3100 weight for one double fuck you metal rodes you can shove in someone's butt.
I think it is a style weapon. It is very good but online it might be hard too easy to dodge or too hard to bait into good hit.
If you can stunt on someone with them it probably pisses them off.
It shines in pvp as the sniper since the range is dumb for a kinetic.
Well I try to use it on enemies already engaged with another player and I avoid moving in a direction perpendicular to his ( as an example if he's backing in a straight line in front of someone trying to melee him I either go where his enemy is or directly behind him ) to hit him while he's moving. Of course I also just use it on staggered enemies.
But since it's moderately fast to use I get a lot of opportunities to fire it on opponents who are using big weap forcing them to freeze for a second.
And I like the punch, the noise and the purple color of the projectiles, it's a neat cool looking weapon.
They feel good to use and the stats on it are great for being lightweight songbirds (thats how I see them). They just require a lot of skill unless you point blank them. Meta isn't ready for people experimenting with high skill weapons yet I think, people are still too focused on trying to win matches.
Has anyone played AC 2/3 here on emulation?
Can you set your camera to your joystick? I was able to do that for AC 1 (psx) but here on AC2 the camera get stuck as if you're continuously pressing the button
Just beat NG+ and got the new armor pieces. Looking back, there's hardly any new (unique to NG+) missions when doing NG+. I'd say... 3 new missions were added? Choosing to betray Iguazu and Volta, escorting the helicopter, and destroying 2 ace mercenaries + Raven. I hope there will be more--a ton more--in NG++, or should I temper my expectations?
Played with this setup the most, with varying degrees of success
its fast but I feel like because of the netcode, light builds are severily disadvantaged against any heavy build, you get staggered immediately and then die before the attacks even reach you
PCA LCs. Specifically the ones with a shield that are always flying and dodge everything.
Yeah good point, those retards are fast and incredibly resilient
I really hated them only once, during the PCA ambush the first time, shit was beyond insufferable
LCs absolutely. NG+, got to the survey mission where you first fight one and I still have no idea how to deal with them. Float around forever, somehow dodging everything, extremely tanky, holy shit. That one on the Xylem is fucking wretched, Freud after him felt like a victory lap than a climactic showdown
Gonna have to second the flying LCs, they LOVE to keep flying above and around and behind you like fucking mosquitoes
I also dislike those wideboys in Depths that leap at you with swords, they always manage to clip me at least once especially the ones in the second power room
Missiles fuck em sideways
Missileboat with 2 hand missiles and 2 SOUPS makes Escort the Strider an absolute joke and turns it into a farm mission since you get 500k+ for basically no real work.
They want the moonlight sword but since they have no hands the dumb fucks can just stare at it. Of course when they see someone coming for the chest they are jealous as fuck.
take down strider, come up from behind it then take out left side gen, drop and hold forward then shoot bottom gen, boost to lift on the platform heading to the front, right gen, top gen, finish eye
>Happy I got my mech to over 300 boost speed >Forget I was using an old thruster >See one I don't normally use in my garage >345 boost speed with it >Test it out in the arena against the highest ranks I'm allowed so far (A) >Decimate them all
I've been a fool. Playing as slow heavy mechs and eating damage when I could have been dodging around in the air and having a great time
>no chest cannon >no physical shield or at least a beam one that actually protects you from incoming damage >no back-up melee weapons stored on your machine
Your AC is a painful reminder that this game is terribly limited in its options.
Played with this setup the most, with varying degrees of success
its fast but I feel like because of the netcode, light builds are severily disadvantaged against any heavy build, you get staggered immediately and then die before the attacks even reach you
>VP-66 Laser pistol >HMMR whip >700LD laser turrets >TRUENO needle launcher
as for booster, I go with P04 and it caps my speed to 320, but it lets me quickboost like 8 times in succession
Switch to BST-G2 or ALULA to get 360 and 350 speed respectively
No problem
feel free to substitute the whip for the sword, the turrets for any missile launcher and the trueno for something that does good stagger damage like songbirds
I just replaced the thruster and gave it the ALLMIND legs since it only served to give more AP and didn't affect the speed much.
Also, if you're really stuck, make a tank with a gatling gun and a bazooka. You can't lose with that thing.
Balteus is a buddy who teaches you how to dodge rockets, the importance of inducing stagger and to get the fuck off the ground when a grenade comes flying your way.
Anon, you should've at least tried an AC game before getting AC6. I'm sure you know by now but even with the souls influence its still different.
You're reminding me of how I approached Nioh when I first played it, once you accept it as it's own thing then you're in for a ride.
I feel like doing the fires of raven was the most logical choice for a first ending to pick, there is a lot more new context and missions in the second playthrough that put you on the way to the second ending also all the little things that forshadow Allmind plan for ng++
Backstabbing Volta and Iguazu allows you a mission to rescure captured RLF instead of examining Rusty's massacre in the Wall. You end killing G2 Nile there.

The log hunt mission is pretty much looking at the afternath of his part of the Wallclimber mission. All the wrecks were RLF defending that part of the Wall. That's what I meant with massacre, ya dolt.
Iguazu didn't get a coral mind gf
so he went with an AI waifu but the AI waifu didn't really want him, kek
Jury's still kind of out on that one but signs point to yes. Makes a lot of sense, honestly. Also makes coral creepy as fuck if you consider the 'voices' of the coral are people who burned to death in the fire of Ibis.
can dosers get a tulpa waifu if they huff enough coral?
Dolmayan got in Contact with some bitch but since he was a doser it was probably fucked up in some way which explains why hes so crazy
He says her name after you kill him in NG++
Nah, the ringing in his head was Ayre speaking to Raven. Iguana could hear it but instead of a soothing voice it was like nails on a chalkboard. Same with any other Coral that might have tried to talk to him.
"streamlined" is the best way to put it.
Radiators don't even exist anymore. Weapon bays are a general upgrade option so it's more ubiquitous. Movement types of the different leg bases feels more varied.
Has anyone figured out a fix for the bug where enabling hdr puts a grey overlay over everything? Beyond just turning it off? Can we even expect From to fix this?
I feel like enabling hdr just does this shit sometimes
Idk what does it but I have seen it happen in multiple games before
I think it's some issue with the monitor or some shit idk, I turn it off because having hdr on sometimes makes it have far less contrast because of this weird ass quirk.
Probably Ayre, took me around 2 hours and a half. Part of it was also me sticking to my build, which had some parts that didn't work so well for phase 2.
Shields appear to be a pvp only kind of thing. I'm a pve chad and I haven't found a real use for them in any level that you'd want it over anything else.
Ty. Don't have enough fingers to constantly hold that fucking button down anyways.
shields are kinda shit in pve because they are designed around "parrying", as in they are only really effective the first half second of deployment than are just a minor damage reduction, and its far far better to just replace it with another damage dealer and learn 2 dodge
Shields appear to be a pvp only kind of thing. I'm a pve chad and I haven't found a real use for them in any level that you'd want it over anything else.
She isn't that hard
Don't go ranged for a fight that is designed to punish ranged builds
Me? 2 wuergers, lazer lance, and some lazer Canon should attachment
Bum rush, stagger, punish
EZ WINS
>underrated
By what metric?
They may not be the next dual Zimmerman, but plenty of people do well with double handguns, whether kinetic, laser, or needle.
Because Iguazu never chose to be a mercenary, he underwent 4th gen augmentation surgery after accumulating a lot of debt in order to pay it off & joined the Redguns. Then you out of nowhere as the same generation outshine him in every way.[spoiler/]
I dont understand the Ayre and Walter dynamics in the first two endings, havent got the third one yet. They made sense when you got them in your first playthrough, but put the two together and it doesnt make any sense
ending
Why didnt ayre show up to help at any point, despite being capable of showing up to kill 621 in the opposite ending?
If she can send some laser beams to the xylem, in the other ending, and then appear in person to come kill 621, surely she could have assisted 621, once it was clear he made his choice that benefits her. Be it while fighting carla, snailteus, or the walter boss
ending
Why did walter not show up to fight 621 and/or prevent the xylem from exploding at any point? Logically he would have showed up somewhere around or after 621 kills Ayre, before the xylem crashes.
At most, i can imagine walter got the news 621 decided to go down the liberator path, felt very troubled and as such couldnt resist the brainwashing before he died, but thats quite a reach.
Or another more sensible option is that the corporations decided there was no stopping the xylem and didnt care anymore.
>Why didnt ayre show up to help at any point, despite being capable of showing up to kill 621 in the opposite ending?
Because she didn't know she could.
>Ayre
In Fires, she was scrambling everything she could do to stop you, while also hoping she could talk-no-jutsu you out of commiting a massive genocide. In Liberator, she has absolute trust in your abilities and also rallied all of the RLF plus remaining Rubiconians not aligned with Carla to lay the hurt agaisnt Arquebus and kick them out of Rubicon. >Walter
That felt more like Snail giving one last middle finger at the vermin who didn't submit to his/Arquebus will. Also Walter kept himself barely sane by reminding his promise, which in Fires it was going to fufilled anyways, which could enough reason to deny Snail's orders until everything burned.
1) Get a Lightweight Reverse Joint mech or a Tetrapod
2) Stick to the spider on phase 1
3) Stay airborne on phase 2
I found that a Tetrapod build works wonders. You can go maximal cheese and hit it with those machine guns and tetrapod mobility makes you immune to most everything Sea Spider has
For most of the game I never used expansion slots since I wanted to put my OS chips into more damage/damage reduction. But when I got extra ones from NG+ I used the pulse armor expansion, it's really good once you get staggered/almost staggered since it cancels it out & you get a shield
Sea Spider demolishes heavy weight builds, especially tank threads
Light weight/reverse joint/flight-oriented builds completely shut down like 80% of its attacks by just staying airborne
How I beat the Sea Spider is using tanks + 2x Songbird + 2x gatling which builds stupid stagger. The downside is that it becomes a DPS race because it is so much harder to dodge with tank threads.
621-sama, the first mercenary who beat the shit out of me so hard I started being attracted to AI femdom almost as much as I am attracted to men, and my master
ALLMIND-sama, my one and only true love and other master
MIchigan-sama, who I shall never become stronger than
CHADlter-sama, whose plans are too great and complicated for me to fathom
Rusty-dono, another mercenery who is more based than
Batleus-sama, whose power scares me (and whose rockets have given me anal pleasure beyond human comprehension)
Ayre-chan, whose voice irritate me even though she can hack my mecha and (and who I am scared will steal 621-sama love...)
>work as PCA agent for the entire game >about to put down big enemy boss >suddenly a call from PCA >they finally noticed that you're the wrong guy >just fucking orbit strike both you and the boss
>we would like you to help us collect battle data to help perfect our MIND ALPHA project >here are the simulations you will be facing >the training dummy >rematch with the student pilot >wow great data
The light reverse joint legs are ridiculously heavy, have zero stagger resistance, barely any load capacity and are EN hungry. Is it even worth it trying to make a build around them?
Heavier weapon are quite hard to make a build with, unless your should weapons should like only 4 rounds each, whether plasma or missle. Its a niche, so if you want a more well rounded build then use the lightweight biped, it still jumps pretty high. The only difference being that it doesn't jump per QB.
reverse joints only real benefit is that sometimes the jump throws the vector for the shot off on things like rockets otherwise you're better off going fast and just boosting with a 300+ boost build imo
Recommend "general purpose" build for NG++. This has been my go-to build to rush through missions I've already played, but I'm starting to get bored at how easy the game got.
>light or medium build >preferably energy-based weaponry >bipeds, chicken legs, quads
>Double zimmers
Yeah, no shit it's easy with those.
I tried to S rank a few missions with that kind of set up and you barely need to bother turning up.
If you want energy weapons then this is best your gonna get.
Squeezing energy weapons onto this stupid generator is hard. But it’s doable. But be aware you gotta suffer from either a shit booster or shit FCS. But 25% extra damage on top of what base damage is, is very nice. If you swap shoulder plasma cannon for another laser cannon you can afford both. Swapping rifle for pistol also helps.
Not him, but I bit the bullet and made a throwaway twitter account just to post PS4 screenshots with. A camera will either take shitty pictures or you'll get a nice reflection of your gormless self holding the phone.

he's just mad because there's no more content to consoom. Don't constantly post ac uptades though that's cringe and a good chunk of the time people are just going to tell you didn't beat the game
Long answer: game wasn't properly shut down because the game started to randomly freeze during loading screens—I had to force the game to close using task manager, sometimes I have to restart the whole computer because the crash likely caused by the AMD drivers. One day, the game refuses to completely load and always stuck in 99%. I backed up my old save, started a new game. Game loaded fine and played through the tutorial mission just fine. Restored my old save, the game is stuck in the loading screen again, so my general conclusion is the save file got corrupted. Steam cloud is useless because it doesn't keep multiple copies of the save file and the one uploaded is also corrupted. I started from scratch, rushed through NG, relied on the double zimmies to breeze through the levels (reason why I was asking for a new build suggestion), and then went on to NG+. <now here I am ready for NG++>
Lastly, I developed a habit of periodically backing up my save in case the game crashes (it still randomly crashes after I updated to a new driver).
not him but i had a crash at the end of a mission and the game would instantly crash selecting Continue after that
fortunately deleting the save file and renaming the backup worked, iirc only lost one mission's progress
On an unrelated note, how do you guys find the right color palettes to use for your cores?
I tried using the https://coolors.co website to come up with one
Only to realize I came up with an offbrand gundam lookalike which I wasn't going for lol
I just try to match two colours and hope for the best.
My best result was a tank that looked like it was made out of old JCB parts.
Other than that my mechs look shitty and generic, or like toys.
I just mishmash some colours, using the preset patterns as a reference, I keep trying until I'm satisfied. I made pic related recently but something about it feels....off.
Maybe you should have one more color to contrast the smaller details more, it's what I did with mine with orange/yellow highlights here & there
>people still using Basho for muh sick BOONKS not realizing why their guns can't hit the broad side of a barn
I really like the look of BASHO arms, they remind me of the older AC games with their blocky design, too bad I never use them because of their abysmally low firearms specialization
>Maybe you should have one more color to contrast the smaller details more, it's what I did with mine with orange/yellow highlights here & there
Noted, I got fixated on those two colours alone since that's what I had in mind, woth the emphasis on gold especially. Well, seeing how it hasn't worked out I suppose I'll do that.
>quit mission because I want to sell and buy different parts >Didn't realize sulla and Balteus was the same mission and I have to beat sulla again to have a chance against Balteus
Aw wtf
You have more parts to play with.
Most of NG is you having to work with low tier shit or starting equipment.
In any NG+ after this you can just whizz around blowing everything up in a suped-up AC with great weapons. Plus you're more skilled as a pilot by then.
Does anything reach the pure KINO of the Ice Worm boss fight? Everything about that mission is pure hype, it replicates a 10/10 mecha anime episode/end of season battle perfectly.
For me it's completely decimating PCA forces with unlimited boost while they scream in fear and agony, competing with Carla how many each of you destroy and fighting Rusty in the end
This build seems to perform very well in PvE and pretty good in PvP. Is there anything I should change to make it better? I really like dual lasers. The heavier double barreled ones are too heavy, i like to go fast.
I use something like this but with biped legs. I'm pretty sure you could fit VE-20B in there for more laser damage. Or, if you don't want to do that, you could at least upgrade the missiles. They're incredibly important for pressure when you're trying to run your keepaway game. Maybe even got to laser orbitals since you have such an energy surplus.
The bomb scatter melee thing is so good in both pve and pvp, strange how I don't see it more often
On another note, I've been seeing the exact same build like 5 times in the last few days >chainsaw >Zimmerman >auto turrets
You get staggered once and you die. How do you deal with this shit? Dodging zimmerman consistently online feels impossible >inb4 fight at a distance
They just need to assault boost and hit you once, and it's game over
I could see it being an extension >press L3+Y to activate >everytime it fires to intercept a missile it uses up its meter >when depleted have to wait for it to charge back up
Current AC, I really like bone colors then i I thought to add a dark red for Marrow with bright red being all the lights for blood. Originally I was gonna do a bone/ivory color and blues
I prefer the darker tone, so I guess I should have just said Ivory.
my bro
B)
Threw on a coral gen just to match the motif we'll see if its worth aesthetics over what I was using. Also, I feel like everyone is sleeping on the stun baton, never see anyone talk about it but its got a pile bunker-mini(better for stagger actually) charge attack and even that refills faster than most melee weapons normal attacks.
Honestly I didn't think they were too bad, but I was cooking them with the double flamethrowers so it sounds like my experience wasn't indicative of most others.
Pistols were worse than kinetic ones but I should give them second chance since I like laser weapon.

They have quadruple the ammo and twice the range
3 weeks ago
Anonymous
I use them with the generator that gives 125% damage so they shred AP and you can spam them without overheating for quite a while. Range is not as good as rifles and they don't build stagger like the Ducketts but the damage is pretty nasty. Really good for PvE since you can wipe out MTs instantly and not care about your ammo.
It feels fun as fuck but absolutely unfailably easy. I've experimented with tons of different weapons and playstyles but ultimately they all feel like an up-hill battle and constant struggle. The game just wasn't balanced well at all, and when the gameplay is ultimately pretty much the same regardless of the weapons used (true of most FromSoft titles) then I'd rather use a blunderbuss than a peashooter while I'm hopping around looking at all the cool environments and robot designs.
I recognize it's a shitter crutch but I don't feel like I'm missing out on a better game by throwing them away. Also don't play multiplayer so I don't feel guilty for ruining other peoples fun.
a good chunk of my fun is based on asthetics. My mech was reminding me of megatron in fall of cybertron, so i felt pretty cool. I didn't use zimmers though, as i don't like shotguns.
Yes. The balance in the game is trash due to relying too heavily on the stagger mechanic so it is the best way to play.
People trying to brute force their pet builds are having a much worse time I assure you. When they say nuh uh it's eagy with muh pistol you know they died a hundred times and had to use the resupplies just to stay from drowning. Or had to minmax their playing to a clownshoes level and don't get other people didn't have to kick 9000 times in their run to get by.
Chapter 1 and 2 on replay are fun for playing goofy builds where your skill can get you through. After that you are just doing SL1 no hit style runs for no raisin.
Not for stuff past a certain point in the game. Try bringing your pistols build to a level where you have to down an AC in the end or have to fight a group of LCs.
The guy with songbirds zimms is going to clear it without being a memetard.
The game isn't balanced. Your fun build is just a fun build and will not be able to clear a level easily without you going full speedrunner chud optimization.
I know I missed some chests but how do I know wich one?
>Try bringing your pistols build to a level where you have to down an AC in the end or have to fight a group of LCs.
Is that supposed to be a problem for the pistols?
You know it is. Stop being a contrarian about your pet build dude.

I mean if you got the right shoulder weps & there's a resupply in the level, you should be fine with the low ammo count of the pistols, just don't waste the ammo on grunts. That's how you should be playing anyways since you don't wanna pay that much for the ammo costs

>just don't waste the ammo on grunts
Just don't play the game. Minmax the run, that makes the low ammo and low damage fine.
You can just go on a killing spree with better weapons.

Okay go ahead & use those other weps, pistols are fine. Just because you don't like to use them doesn't mean they're bad weapons. Like with most weapons they have their own characteristics & drawbacks that you have to work around

That's what everyone does. It's making you seethe for some reason. You are being a tryhard and getting upset people don't want to do that.

I'm not even seething, I'm just saying pistols are viable & you have to mouth off about muh "meta" when I'm just saying if you work around their drawbacks they're good weapons, hop off my dick dude I'm not even the guy you've been arguing with all day.
Not the guy you've been arguing with but pistols would be meta if Zimmermans didn't exist. Don't act like you're running a machinegun build with a laser buckler or something
I like using dual machineguns, I just wish there were more in the same style as the angular machineguns in AC4/4answer

They aren't viable though. Go to Grid 086 and kill every enemy with just 2 pistols and no resupply.

Actually almost beat the boss first try, maybe if I went with the pistols with more ammo I could've beat it first try lmao

Pistols aren't viable. Any other build not using pistols would have been able to clear it relatively effortlessly. Pistols are for tryharding and that is fine but the enjoyers of it need to calm the fuck down and stop overselling it.
You people are dangerously close to being the weirdos in souls games trying to force naked katana as the baseline.
You chose based shoulder weapons.

Hey man I'm not saying pistols are the best things ever or saying that you should only use pistols, I'm just saying they can work
i've cleared up to NG++ with the laser pistols and laser cannons/plasma cannons/or vertical or horizontal plasma launchers (if the fight doesn't allow you pause like with charla)
the pistol dps is roughly doubled when you use appropriate arms for the recoil, otherwise you miss every other shot
ziggers make the game too easy and are boring to play, the frequent free restocks in missions remove their only downside
>People trying to brute force their pet builds are having a much worse time I assure you.
Not really since I know what I'm doing, and yes, pistol builds are easy, not my faulty if you keep shooting at some birds instead of the enemies
You are coping. The overpowered meta is clearly going to be better in all situations or your pet pistol build would be the meta and it isn't.
It's fine if you like it but it isn't what the game is balanced around. It's good for the early game when enemies aren't really enemies and more of targets though.
>Muh """""""""""meta"""""""""""" tho >The game is totally not balanced around pistols which is why you can S rank it with ease with dual pistols and they're top tier PvP weapons too
You just suck at the game, beware when the next regulation drops and they take away your journalist crutches
By the by, there's much scarier things out there than your precious zimzams, you'd know if you actually played the game
No I don't suck I just know the pistols are the weakest weapons in the game with shitty ammo capacity and the late game isn't designed for them and anyone trying to force them when they become shit is a memester with asspains others aren't also memesters.
Get over it. Your mom might be impressed with your cool pistol runs anon tell her about it.

They're not the weakest weapons in the game, that goes to the kinetic rifles and non-minigun MGs,
3 weeks ago
Anonymous
>the kinetic rifles
I don't know, HARRIS is very good and the full-auto rifle with 450 rounds is alright(There definitely could've been a better rifle). But the laser rifle by far was the most underwhelming when compared to the prior two, maybe it was my build but I felt it was pretty weak. And since it was a laser weapon it inherently didn't deal much Stagger damage.
Anonymous
Duckett and Viento alone are some of the strongest kinetic weapons in the game, Sampu is a fucking menace in PvP, the laser handgun is incredibly powerful and is the single best energy weapon for your arms
The more you post the more I'm convinced you didn't touch the game.
Not the guy you've been arguing with but pistols would be meta if Zimmermans didn't exist. Don't act like you're running a machinegun build with a laser buckler or something
SMGs are good though, Etsujin is really powerful and Chang Chen isn't far off either.

No you are misinterpreting it to appear that way because you are salty people don't respect shitty pistols and you are an edgelord and feel offended by it.
Not the guy you've been arguing with but pistols would be meta if Zimmermans didn't exist. Don't act like you're running a machinegun build with a laser buckler or something
Never really use pistol builds, but I just conserve ammo where ever I can by just avoiding most enemies & b-lining it straight to the objectives. Unless there's a good bonus for taking out enemies, there's not really a point to waste ammo/AP on the grunts
I tried that set up for a few S-Ranks, but honestly it's boring.
If I'm going to cheese, I use a big tank that's loaded up with DAKKA and explosions, otherwise I either use a heavy mech that's all about risk and reward for maximum punishes or a more recent fast mech that kills enemies through relentless small hits and can dodge return fire.
>swap pistols for rifles for a mission that was just MTs in NG so as to use something different and save money on ammo >surprise, in NG+ you now have to fight two stealth machines with pulse shields and Iguazu and the rifles don't do dick to any of them >end up spending just as much from having to basically empty both rifles and go through all my repair kits
I can't wait for a balance patch
Just get rid of the stealth snipers first and just hang back and watch Iguazu striggle with the pulse shield whip grunts It's also the canon way of doing this mission
I dunno. I've basically never seen them online though - most people do normal mechs or go full ironic weeb with theirs. I don't know if that's because the edgy ones get banned or if people just don't wanna be edgy.
>decided to team up with Middle Flatwell and fight Arquebus >instead of trying to fight the Redguns >Rusty took care of them instead >he shows up in the next mission, as a planned assassin by V.II
Two birds, one stone type of deal?
But... it failed. What the fuck is V.II Snail doing
>took more tries to defend the Xylem command centre, than killing Ibis
I feel like a special kind of retard
You fags really blew up how hard the boss was
Either that, or all of you are playing heavyweight, slow ass tanks
I will admit though, I still have no clue how you're expected to dodge the attack where the mech just becomes a flying stingray. In the attempt I won, the boss just didn't get a chance to do it
>took more tries to defend the Xylem command centre
How? The only thing that actually does damage are the suicide drones, and even if they all get through they only do enough damage to wipe the shield.
Carla's only purpose in life is to burn Ayre into nothingness, and she isn't loyal to you if you're trying to prevent that.
Shit taste anyway, real chads stop playing to keep G1 Michigan alive and well.
You don't. It would be nice to have a NG+ feature that would show if you collected all chests from a mission or not similar to logs, but as of now you caon only google.
God I hate the ice worm mission so much. It's not even hard, just boring af since you spend all the time doing nothing waiting to line up a perfect shot.
He was based and only wanted to break Carla's toys in front of her. If he beat 621 he'd have to go on to kill Carla instead of letting her wallow in her suffering.
Pistol players are seethers because they get rekt by zimmermans hardlocking them in pvp. All that effort and sacrifice to AP and stagger to force their meme builds and then the meta chad okiedokes them.
okay what about inputting a lateral side boost immediately into a quick turn allowing you to move forward while changing your camera 90 degrees? What about input chaining lateral side boosts during AB and moving the camera allowing you to AB circles around enemy AC when you have hard lock on?
Unstable gen 4 is all I can think of
because ur in a huge metch but u cant even stomp building because all the buildings are impossibly huge
There are some small buildings u can stomp Thoughever

Yes, but can you MAD STOOOOOOMP them?
Mechs are barely 10 meters high.
He's a gen 4, he's as augmented as you are.
>barely 10 meters high
Have you seen actual human cars on Xelem? They look like toy cars in comparison
Mechs are 100 meters tall at the very least
I don't think you have a solid grasp of the metric system.
The twist is that Rubicon was a toy car factory providing toy cars to the whole system before the fire. They are toys scattered on the surface of the planet.
That being said there's definitely some weird scaling on some props and set dressing.
I want a mod to inject AC into elden ring and fight the fire giant with it.
The giant dwarfs it lol
Does anyone has the orginal gif of frompig consuming fromslop? I need it for a shitpost for a different game

I gotta remake this with my current livery
>people talking about allmind being part of the plot
i don't understand how this is going to happen, and i'm quite deep in chapter 4. Is this a second playthrough thing
Third playthrough, after you get both endings.
IBIS? What's that?
After fighting that bitch, dual needles feels fair.
Got the moonlight and the range of this thing is crazy. I haven't tried this yet though.
Maybe only the normal attack
The charged attacks doesn't seem to have any pierce and just stops at the first enemy it encounters.
>The charged attacks doesn't seem to have any pierce and just stops at the first enemy it encounters.
this is really fucking stupid why make an aoe that can't even mass wipe trash?
Because you later get a red one that does that. The moonlight is the lesser version. The ML-Redshift is the good one.
why should we have "lesser" versions when they already have their own uses?
Because it is common. The 6 missile version of a 10 missile launcher is the same lesser function theory you see throughout the game.
Later parts have higher average stats than starter gear.
moonlight is nearly an endgame gear
and in this game scaling is shit, some stuff you get right away or a hour in can easily beat stuff you get hours later
you get it in NG. The game has NG++.
Moonlight is not end game gear. Scaling isn't shit either since the Redshift is clearly stronger since it is NG++.
that's called powerscaling, anon
technically the blue moonlight has a stronger 1v1 heavy attack. the impact on it is damn good compared to redshift, but its only really useful in pvp
Same reason your energy weapons don't go through enemies to kill entire lines of them. Coral does do that though and you will later get access to a Coral Moonlight.
The damage and impact is low but later in ng++ you get coral version of this which is perfect
MAD STOMP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He's a bog standard animu trope dressed to the nines. He just does everything the gay rival would do in a 500 episode series in the span of 4 hours.
no that's Rusty
Iguazu is the dedicated malefail character
It's both rusty and iguazu they just fulfill different tropes. Rusty isn't the gay rival, he's the protag but it isn't his story kind of rival.
Iguazu is just a gay and fails in every possible way a gay rival can fail all jammed into a small runtime so his antics seem dialed up.
Children probably shouldn't be playing this game.
I am interested in this game, but I am worried since it's made by fromshitware. Is this game also tedious and pretentious slop, or did someone force fromshit to make a decent game for a change with actual substance?
Sounds like a discord style shitpost.
Fromshit games are typically the platonic ideal of all style, zero substance. We can debate this if you want.
I already said it sounded like a discord shitpost you don't have to do this sister. Your anger has been acknowledged you can go back to trying to grooming minors somewhere else now.
no you wont like this game. it's just dark souls mechs.

bros...
it took this long for me to realize who walter's friend was. I am big retard
Who was it? I assumed it was another Rubiconian coral schizo or Carla but they both refer to a third 'friend' in one of their conversations about Xylem.
Walter's friend is himself
Why does Carla refer to a third person as their friend when talking to Walter then? I can't remember the exact like but I wasn't misinterpreting it. It was one of those post-mission conversations in the garage.
The trans community loves fromsewer games though.
kek how embarrassing.
Sh-Shut up... Aoi is /my/ girl!
It is very embarrassing for you to be roleplaying like this tripfren.
I told you about Gun 13. I warned you dog.
Guys, this is bad... He looks hungry...
I already did the other option in NG, but, man, I will probably feel bad I have to kill Carla.
You won't. She goes down like a queen.
you gonna die
Yeah, you will. Chatty really rubs it in.
Fuck the both of them
>Chatty's AC is the single most annoying one in the game.
volta is way worse
Focus chatty, then kill carla.
Remember this dumb bitch is friends with Walter and still tried to kill his merc multiple times the moment she met you. Fuck her. First impressions matter and she’s a salty backstabbing bitch.
>she’s a salty backstabbing bitch.
She's just a normal woman, anon.
She didn't even know who you are, mate. You went there solo with Ayre while Walter was away. and left a decidedly bad first impression.
I hated carla so I picked this option without even looking at the second one. Fuck that Marvel-speaking bitch
Same, nice to see a fellow anti-voice-actors-guild chad. That insufferable cunt had some undeserved arrogant comment in every single mission, even the fucking arena of all places. I enjoyed watching Chatty grieve.
Based and same. I like the other characters, but carla got on my nerves because she never shuts the fuck up
so, was ayre hiding that robot all along?
Yeah what's up with that?
ALLMIND gave it to her
>Implying she isn't actually Allmind
She probably stole it from arquebus's finds
She took it from ALLMIND or was given it by ALLMIND. You'll get it by the end of NG+ then it's driven home in NG++.
So wait, the unique attribute of the ship legs is you can float indefinitely? It's pretty neat, actually. Not sure if it's practical for any of the missions other than cheesing the smart cleaner.
Sea Spider can't deal with anything coming from above.
I bought AC6 (first time playing AC). Is the shield you can buy useless or am I just being bad at the game?
Totally.
It's completely useless and you probably are till you won against Balteus.
Idk who that is, but I just beat the Juggernaut on the wall
It's the boss at the end of the first chapter that checks if you comprehend the game's basics.
I'll be fine, I'm a quick learner.
Alright phase 2 is raping me. He's tough.
If you like tanks you can use it it frame cancel the windup of grenade and bazooka shots. Just activate the shield as you fire and it'll fly out and fuck up the early warning for your opponents and AI
they have some gimmicky uses but imo the dps loss is not worthwhile in most cases
Good in PvP thats about it
Can't stand gays and trannies after AC6 threads. Had nothing against you guys before but straight up, you are mad annoying.
what a strange post.
Thanks for confirming buddy. Hopefully I'm outta here for good. God bless!
Die on the way out
I, like yourself, will never commit suicide. We can't, knowing people are after us.
Confirming what? I just said your insane outburst was strange.
>lanced a dude and staggered him
>team mate boosts in and chainsaw the fucker

>Spend most of the game being a shitter and using a heavy mech and a tank to steamroll stuff
>Chapter 4 starts
>Fuck it, I'm going to make something FAST
>Make a lightweight mech that uses a laser shotgun, plasma missiles and a sword for stagger punishes
>Move like a pissed off cheetah
>Can dodge most things
>victories now feel cool as hell
I'm converted. Tanky mechs are boring and too easy, fast and light is the way to go.
Post your build please
There's a huge difference between tank and heavy mechs.
Heavy mech is garbage that adds nothing.
How rude. Unless you use the Sazabi legs, heavy mechs with spring chicken legs offer a good balance of mobility, durability and multiple options for firepower.
>unless you sue a heavy mech, you're fine
What you're using is medium
>heavy mechs with spring chicken legs
Oxymoron
RJ never counts as heavy.
I used almost all dafeng parts most of the game and it was fine, as long as you use the right booster and generator for your weight class you will have more than enough mobility and EN to handle anything
get in the wheelchair raven
Your pussy better feel good, bitch. I just killed my remaining allies you cunt.
>switch from a mediu weight build to a light build
h-he's fast
Where was that fag Walter when Carla sacrificed herself by crushing Xylem into satellite ?
killed by snail.
What is point of weapon which shoots one big rocket and then divides into a bunch of small ones.
To overload antiaircraft systems, sonny
Cumulative impact.
Missiles are primarily a tool for forcing enemies into going a certain direction so you can hit them when they get there or as they are trying to get out of the way of your missiles, that they good damage and stagger if not respected is a bonus
Learn what missiles make enemies do and where they go and you can really bully them
is that you....621?
god the whip is fucking godlike in pvp, the speed, stun damage and tracking during dashes is insane
its a shame that the charged attack is maybe the worst attack in the game
Charge it up to act as a shitty shield then press triangle to cancel it so you can do normal attacks right out of the shielded spin.
In my experience the range is too short for PvP because any mech faster than me (all of them) can escape its range with a single qb backwards.
Maybe if the people you're playing against are worse than AI
I absolutely can't use the whip in single player
Yeah I cant use the whip in single player either, but in pvp it has insane amount of tracking for some reason
The secret is to use it in the middle of a dash while chasing them when they have their stagger bar half full. Against light ACs, one whip strike will fill half their stagger bar. I also wouldn't recommend the whip on a heavy build
Hitting them right as you cross paths with them like some anime and seeing them fullstop from the impact then die from a dogpile is peak combat.
>while chasing
Yeah the range is like 80 ish and the second hit is prone to whiffing badly
Give me a build for NG++
double smoke grenades, no shoulder equips
stock 621 mech parts
can someone give me some ideas to color this thing, too many people call me a make a wish sponsored mech
>too many people call me a make a wish sponsored mech
kek. Your mech would do a great comic relief character.
Have you already tried pressing that button?
how can you stand to use those rifles? they're so fucking bad. They heat up fast, shoot slow, and are stupid heavy.
Get rid of the stars and it's already better
the stars are staying
im whimsical as fuck, mother fucker
Why not just name it Whimsy then
cause im a lame ass kingdom hearts fan and ever since i was a kid, the star seeker keyblade has always been my favorite keyblade and name everything after it
>the star seeker keyblade has always been my favorite keyblade
You might be a total fuckin' loser for admitting that out loud, but you have impeccable taste in keyblades
I respect that you found something you like and stuck with it. Could probably use an astrology term like Grand Trine not that one since people will probably assume it's One Piece related Luminary could work
Alea iacta est is the worst ending
Alea Iacta Est isn't an ending, it is a mindset. You cast the die in all 3 endings. Fires, Liberator, or Release, you cast the die in all of them.
I haven't looked much online, but have you guys ACs with a racing car theme?
I want my Lightweight to look like one but making emblems for it would probably take a bit of time.
I made a white and green tropos ralleye themed kauru but it looks like shit right now.
You can take cues from Formula Front. Got that 2000’s high octane sports aesthetic to it for Armored Core
Making the emblems is the time-consuming part, but most of them are just text so it's not too hard.
That's looks cool, anon.
got tinnitus instead of a brain wife
ewwww
Why does everyone want to play on the desert map online? There's nothing, no buildings to hide and ambush, there's just one crater and that's all?
I feel like in every online games players want to go to the shittiest map.
So they can get eazy peazy kills spamming missiles.
Avoid Watchtower and Bona Dea it is just people shooting fish in a barrel.
Same reason why stinky players only want final destination.
How did you defeat Ayre?
I gave up and used 2 zims.
DOUBLE BAZOOKA WOOOOO
2 nail guns, needle and spinny dual sword.
Took 3 tries.
Missiles and lance.
2 miniguns
2 stun launchers
fought ibis with the same build and it was harder. But maybe because it was late night and i was tired.
wheelchair and needles
the key was realising that Ayre can't hit shit after you obtain enough boost (300 something), also helps with the rest of the game
left: laser lance + bubble gum
right: detonating bazooka + stun needle cannon
>Alea Iacta Est
So is Raven Caesar?
To be Raven is to cast the die.
That is very cool.
Speaking of design ideas, I recently built this medium weight mech and while I like how it looks I can't decide on a paintjob/decals.
Hell, I haven't even named it.
FUCK.
Forgot my pic
That's a light mech
Leave it as is and turn the chrome all the way to 35. It looks like some ice crystal golem right now and it works.
That's the name sorted then.
PERMAFROST.
Make a heavy variant and call it CHILLDOWNER
Name: Double Mint
ayo mine's pretty similar
For Answer was much better to be honest.
If VI also gets a sub-sequel that improves and fixes the base game issues then we will be in for a ride.
I can't get past Balteus. I'm fucking terrible at this game. Please explain how you beat him. I hear about people doing it on the 3rd try while I spend 8 hours straight and then give up and go to bed
2 bubble guns
pulse sword
plasma missile
i hate the bubble guns they run out of ammo too fast and have shitty range/trajectory
they do feel like shit to use but oooo do they shred shields
If you run out of ammo before killing Balteus then you are shooting outside of their range.
Stick close to him and use kick and sword.
Use pulse gun for his shield if you really want to.
Arms: Vvc-760PR
either double up on the plasma guns or off hand the starting sword
assault boost towards when it stops to shoot missile, this helps avoid lots of them
get assault armour in OS tuning its amazing, pretty sure it a full shield break on its own
be aggrieve, if you take sword try use it after a stagger if you can, it has a bonus modifier
you are severely mentally impaired and completely incapable of reflecting upon your actions
how do you even function in any day-to-day occurrence?
How do you respond?
"Who's Raven? Call me 621."
GO AWAY WALTER SAID YOU'RE NOT REAL
>a dark spirit has inva-
>tfw getting rekt by ibis
She has plenty of openings and has a small health pool. You can do it, anon. Hard-lockon is VERY useful in this fight if you haven't used it by now.
>She
>Has
gonna give this
a try and holy hell it melted the two at the start of the mission
i see someone online using a red moonlight sword?
how the fuck do you get that
NG++ arena
>just betrayed iguazu and volta
trully a jibun wo moment
It's okay, Walter will cover the bill
Lemon cheesecake.
>starting sword
>shield
>zimzam
>spas12
it's fundamentals time
i gotta be real ravenbros, most of the gun designs look like shit.
Nah they're fine.
Fingers crossed for DLC, that one mission that makes you wipe the redguns in depth 1 was pretty intense.
>Iguazu is unstable as fuck
>621 seems to be completely sane and physically ample
What's the catch? Is he emotionless?
Walter's a good dad and they also have an emotional support tulpa
Iguazu is written as a cartoon trope 621 is a blank slate for roleplaying into.
Iguazu got at least one malignant tulpa and became a schizo while 621 got lucky with a cute girl tulpa.
Why the fuck 621 even got a cute girl who just wants peace and happiness? Did his contact with coral shaped her personality?
It was the one in Watchpoint there. Sulla was sent to Contact with her by ALLMIND, but 621 proved to be above Walter's usual stock.
>Why the fuck 621 even got a cute girl who just wants peace and happiness?
So you could brutally kill her and genocide her brothers and sisters
>can't get Ayre Ibis head or Iguazu Allmind head
That's fucked up
>wants peace and happiness
wrong and delusional
she wants eternal conflict for the sake of evolution
Played with this setup the most, with varying degrees of success
its fast but I feel like because of the netcode, light builds are severily disadvantaged against any heavy build, you get staggered immediately and then die before the attacks even reach you
what the fuck is their problem?
They really don't want you to have the MLGS
Yamumra saw what Miyazaki did with the bonewheels and wanted to surpass him.
Second most unfun enemies in the game.
Which one is the most unfun
My vote goes to the invisible sniper dudes
The flying PCA dudes I hate tracking the bastards. Or the enforcer.
Yeah good point, those retards are fast and incredibly resilient
I really hated them only once, during the PCA ambush the first time, shit was beyond insufferable
PCA LCs. Specifically the ones with a shield that are always flying and dodge everything.
I gave up and facefucked him with Zimmers.
>Heavy Cavalry is Easier than Light Cavalry
Feels silly.
>That one on the Xylem
Four tries to defeat what is essentially elite fodder.
Gonna have to second the flying LCs, they LOVE to keep flying above and around and behind you like fucking mosquitoes
I also dislike those wideboys in Depths that leap at you with swords, they always manage to clip me at least once especially the ones in the second power room
They take massive damage from explosives, completely trivializes them.
Of course when they see someone coming for the chest they are jealous as fuck.
have fun trying to S rank protect the strider
Fuck you. How do you do this shit? Best I can do is A.
Bring Full Course. Yes, it's that easy.
I went with 2 earshots and 2 of the Allmind bazookas on wheelchair.
Missileboat. 2x hand missiles and 2x SOUP.
Songbirds and the other shotgun(the one that looks like a mini gatling gun)make it easy.
now destroying the strider S rank is kicking my ass
Equip the big coral generator and boost, moron. Boost!
take down strider, come up from behind it then take out left side gen, drop and hold forward then shoot bottom gen, boost to lift on the platform heading to the front, right gen, top gen, finish eye
They have two problems - one is you have HDR on, and second is you don't have explosives
So are they making an armored core version of Nuketown?
More importantly, are all month names going to be called Mech----- because if not I'm not interested.
>Happy I got my mech to over 300 boost speed
>Forget I was using an old thruster
>See one I don't normally use in my garage
>345 boost speed with it
>Test it out in the arena against the highest ranks I'm allowed so far (A)
>Decimate them all
I've been a fool. Playing as slow heavy mechs and eating damage when I could have been dodging around in the air and having a great time
Please post your build, I'm stuck on the A ranks and also want to go fast.
I managed using a slow ass build like pic related to clear the arena. Granted some of the kit I have are NG+ gear, however.
>no chest cannon
>no physical shield or at least a beam one that actually protects you from incoming damage
>no back-up melee weapons stored on your machine
Your AC is a painful reminder that this game is terribly limited in its options.
See
>VP-66 Laser pistol
>HMMR whip
>700LD laser turrets
>TRUENO needle launcher
as for booster, I go with P04 and it caps my speed to 320, but it lets me quickboost like 8 times in succession
Switch to BST-G2 or ALULA to get 360 and 350 speed respectively
Thanks Anon. Don't think I've unlocked most of those yet, but it's a starting point.
No problem
feel free to substitute the whip for the sword, the turrets for any missile launcher and the trueno for something that does good stagger damage like songbirds
Honestly, it's this piece of shit.
I just replaced the thruster and gave it the ALLMIND legs since it only served to give more AP and didn't affect the speed much.
Also, if you're really stuck, make a tank with a gatling gun and a bazooka. You can't lose with that thing.
Alright this Balteus guy is a gay.
Balteus is a buddy who teaches you how to dodge rockets, the importance of inducing stagger and to get the fuck off the ground when a grenade comes flying your way.
This is gonna be 30 attempts like genichiero was.
Guys why am i not enjoying this game? Am i playing it wrong? Ive liked every other from game post demon souls
Your discord probably knows you better than us they'd be able to get to the bottom of the conundrum better. Ask them.
Are there any set ups i can use to make it feel more souls like?
Again your discord would know what you like in that regard more than we would.
I dont discord and not a woman. Im a simple 30-something soulskino fan who didnt know what he was getting into... money down the drain
You are trying too hard to shitpost and it isn't working that is why you are being told to go back to your discord.
You are doomposting.
Anon, you should've at least tried an AC game before getting AC6. I'm sure you know by now but even with the souls influence its still different.
You're reminding me of how I approached Nioh when I first played it, once you accept it as it's own thing then you're in for a ride.
>Ive liked every other from game post demon souls
maybe that's the problem
Where are you at, what are you playing and are you a woman?
Still in chapter 1
I feel like doing the fires of raven was the most logical choice for a first ending to pick, there is a lot more new context and missions in the second playthrough that put you on the way to the second ending also all the little things that forshadow Allmind plan for ng++
>Balteus theme is called Contact with You
>it's not actually Balteus theme, it's the theme of you and Ayre fighting together for the first time
kino
Where the fuck is the log in Freud mission?
Giant glass roof on the left that you see when you start the mission. Log holder will appear once you reach it.
It is an absolute bitch to fight.
>It is an absolute bitch to fight.
as if that mission couldn't get any worse with the LC mid-way through. god damn
Doubt that
>you can save little ziyi instead of killing her in the second playthrough.
sweet
How?
Backstabbing Volta and Iguazu allows you a mission to rescure captured RLF instead of examining Rusty's massacre in the Wall. You end killing G2 Nile there.
The founder of the RLF did it that way.
>Rusty's massacre in the Wall.
Wait what's that? I know I'm well past where Little Ziyi shows up in NG.
The log hunt mission right after Wallclimber. Ziyi attacks if you grab a particular log.
621 made Contact. Iguazu did not.
>The log hunt mission right after Wallclimber. Ziyi attacks if you grab a particular log.
No, I mean Rusty murdering people at the wall.
You collect the logs of the mechs that Rusty decimated when he bailed on you in the middle of the bossfight during Wallclimber
Wait, he really did have a reason to leave? He wasn't ordered to leave by Snail or someone so that you'd die and their corp would get credit for taking the Wall?
It's both. They really did pull him away but he really did go do something else when pulled away he didn't just fall back.
The log hunt mission is you finding wrecks left by Rusty on his way to the Jugganaught boss. Not after he leaves you.
They even say Rusty is approaching from a different spot than you.
Snail probably was the one that told him to leave so (You) would hopefully get fucked by that juggernaut.
But nope you took the wall yourself
The log hunt mission is pretty much looking at the afternath of his part of the Wallclimber mission. All the wrecks were RLF defending that part of the Wall. That's what I meant with massacre, ya dolt.
They all wanted the Hound instead.
betray the redguns. It's only a escort mission though.
then you get to have sex with her in NG++
kino game
question: ayre used to be a human?
Jury's still kind of out on that one but signs point to yes. Makes a lot of sense, honestly. Also makes coral creepy as fuck if you consider the 'voices' of the coral are people who burned to death in the fire of Ibis.
can dosers get a tulpa waifu if they huff enough coral?
Nah, you need to be augmented with the stuff to make a true contact.
621 is like half-coralian already.
Dolmayan got in Contact with some bitch but since he was a doser it was probably fucked up in some way which explains why hes so crazy
He says her name after you kill him in NG++
What does MT, HC, and LC stand for?
Muscle Tracer
Heavy Calvary
Light Calvary
>starting the new strider mission
Shut me up about not having challenging MTs to fight
Easily the best intro to a mission in the game
>"W-What is that thing!?"
>"Hold the line! We are Coral warriors! AAAAAA-"
I heard it so many times its itched into my brain now......
Starting to wish i bought starfield instead tbh lads...
Whenever Ayre speaks she gives him bad tinnitus
Also he is jelly that (You) actually deliver results
>final mission
>Ayre speaks
>Iguana chimps out about it being her all along
Was Ayre unfaithful?
Nah, the ringing in his head was Ayre speaking to Raven. Iguana could hear it but instead of a soothing voice it was like nails on a chalkboard. Same with any other Coral that might have tried to talk to him.
Why can you hear her voice but he only hears awful noise?
He could magically hear her clearly after becoming linked up with ALLMIND 🙂
ALLMIND is for all mercenaries.
>Balteus has a second phase where he whips out a flamethrower
Bruh.
🙂
How’s the AC building compared to previous games, at least in terms of options? Sounds like it isn’t about gofast anymore, at least not as much?
apparently is a huge downgrade. I played a bunch of armored core games in the ps2 era (got filtered in each of them).
"streamlined" is the best way to put it.
Radiators don't even exist anymore. Weapon bays are a general upgrade option so it's more ubiquitous. Movement types of the different leg bases feels more varied.
its lacking some of the weirdo options like gun arms and a lot of the utility stuff
Has anyone figured out a fix for the bug where enabling hdr puts a grey overlay over everything? Beyond just turning it off? Can we even expect From to fix this?
I feel like enabling hdr just does this shit sometimes
Idk what does it but I have seen it happen in multiple games before
I think it's some issue with the monitor or some shit idk, I turn it off because having hdr on sometimes makes it have far less contrast because of this weird ass quirk.
so this is it huh?
The end? Not yet.
A massive filter responsible for breaking many controllers? Yeah.
filename is incorrect :^)
It's correct. It's the final battle because people get filtered and quit
>He doesn't know
How do i increase my mech's jetpack flight time?
Who was the most difficult boss for you?
>Sea Spider
Probably Ayre, took me around 2 hours and a half. Part of it was also me sticking to my build, which had some parts that didn't work so well for phase 2.
Are shoulder shields useless ? What's the first arena upgrade I should buy? Trying to beat Balteus rn
probably boost kick
I'm a pve chad and I haven't found a real use for them in any level that you'd want it over anything else.
>unlock coral rifle
>Cant find a way to get 350+ boost speed with it without going barebones or losing a weapon slot
Bros I dont wanna go below 10k AP, is it worth it to do so or should I just go back to what I was using before
Walter's rifle? Fuck no.
Ayre's rifle? Fuck yes.
>S rank all missions
I don't want to suffer so I give up on this one.
finally beat this gay after 2 days
pretty much just penetrated it repeatedly with the Pile Driver
She isn't that hard
Don't go ranged for a fight that is designed to punish ranged builds
Me? 2 wuergers, lazer lance, and some lazer Canon should attachment
Bum rush, stagger, punish
EZ WINS
Iguazu didn't get a coral mind gf
so he went with an AI waifu
but the AI waifu didn't really want him, kek
I really had a lot of fun with double handguns. I think this build is pretty underrated.
>I think this build is pretty underrated.
It's overrated because you are a weirdo and will not shut up about them.
>underrated
By what metric?
They may not be the next dual Zimmerman, but plenty of people do well with double handguns, whether kinetic, laser, or needle.
Whats the easiest boss?
Iguazu :^)
Cleaner
I found that the hardest. Balteus? Sea Spider? Childs play. But the Cleaner killed me over and over.
Defang pilot student.
i hope there isn't a boss over there
no, dont worry anon! jump in there right now! do it anon, do it!
>perfect build for what is down there
>oh geeze yous guize I'm scawed
shut up gay go kill it.
no way, just a random supply sherpa up there as well
I wouldn't think too hard about it
Because Iguazu never chose to be a mercenary, he underwent 4th gen augmentation surgery after accumulating a lot of debt in order to pay it off & joined the Redguns. Then you out of nowhere as the same generation outshine him in every way.[spoiler/]
Have fun spending the next hour or two on it
https://vginsights.com/game/1888160
We won
So, does the third ending imply that coral took over humanity and will use them to fight their own wars?
I keep getting wreck by Sea Spider it is so fucking bullshit. Please help.
1) Get a Lightweight Reverse Joint mech or a Tetrapod
2) Stick to the spider on phase 1
3) Stay airborne on phase 2
I found that a Tetrapod build works wonders. You can go maximal cheese and hit it with those machine guns and tetrapod mobility makes you immune to most everything Sea Spider has
I just used a lightweight biped to keep out of it's moves, it's pretty easy to dodge idk why people struggled so much against the spider
People failing to dodge and eating all the lasers
Because their lasers build a stupid amount of stagger and they use their BS moves the moment you are stagger for heavy damage.
Stay under his ass, his melee attack has bullshit hitboxes and he does it less/easier to dodge when you're up his butt
I'm SLURPazu, JOBBER of Rubicon humbly kneel to:
EL-O-EL
Iguazusissies BTFO
so if ALLMIND controls how mercenaries operate
and the PCA has an AI that tells them what to do
ALLMIND VS PCAMIND DLC when?
>The System also starts lusting after 621
>You can barely hear Walter's next job over 3 voicefus bickering in your ears
>621 steals a PCA license and no one notices because bureaucracy
would be a fun route.
after all, the PCA hates raven, not you.
Could be a fun DLC route where you lock the planet down
>work as PCA agent for the entire game
>about to put down big enemy boss
>suddenly a call from PCA
>they finally noticed that you're the wrong guy
>just fucking orbit strike both you and the boss
Federal bennies were worth it though
considering the PCA's got an orbital laser
why was the fucking hole laser in any way impressive?
Is the karasawa actually good?
I struggled making it feel strong despite the absolutely gigantic energy/weight cost
No, it's absolute trash. Not even joking. Just straight up garbage.
No, sadly it's pretty ass in this game, the 3 fire mode gimmick makes it clunky to use and the damage just isn't worth the weight and EN cost.
Seriously though, did they really have to make it so fucking heavy? I think it's easily the heaviest weapon in the game.
Sawa's always been heavy (except maybe the 3rd gen version of the AC2 one), but AC6s is downright obese
>I stucked at...
Just you use hardlock
>BUT I'M NOT CAS...
Use hardlock moron who crawled here to whimp.
>we would like you to help us collect battle data to help perfect our MIND ALPHA project
>here are the simulations you will be facing
>the training dummy
>rematch with the student pilot
>wow great data
The light reverse joint legs are ridiculously heavy, have zero stagger resistance, barely any load capacity and are EN hungry. Is it even worth it trying to make a build around them?
They're alright, but I prefer the lightweight biped legs since you boost faster with them
Heavier weapon are quite hard to make a build with, unless your should weapons should like only 4 rounds each, whether plasma or missle.
This has been my go-to build to rush through missions I've already played, but I'm starting to get bored at how easy the game got.
>light or medium build
>preferably energy-based weaponry
>bipeds, chicken legs, quads
>Double zimmers
Yeah, no shit it's easy with those.
I tried to S rank a few missions with that kind of set up and you barely need to bother turning up.
If you want energy weapons then this is best your gonna get.
Squeezing energy weapons onto this stupid generator is hard. But it’s doable. But be aware you gotta suffer from either a shit booster or shit FCS. But 25% extra damage on top of what base damage is, is very nice. If you swap shoulder plasma cannon for another laser cannon you can afford both. Swapping rifle for pistol also helps.
do people seriously not know how to take proper screenshots?
He's probably playing on console and can't be assed to transfer the screenshots to a PC
Not him, but I bit the bullet and made a throwaway twitter account just to post PS4 screenshots with. A camera will either take shitty pictures or you'll get a nice reflection of your gormless self holding the phone.
My pet peeve with hand-held energy weapons in general is you can't hold button to fire continuously, and that's why I rarely use them.
Redshift rifle
Redshift sword
Two Fasans
Shreds everything that isn't Michigan + a million fodder enemies.
>Redshift rifle
>Redshift sword
Noted, though I currently don't have those weapons.
When are you going to stop filling these threads with your shitty posts, you've only beat NG+ but you're in these threads 24/7
Fuck off retard
I would've gotten to NG++ a week ago if weren't for my corrupted save.
It takes about 3 hours tops if you're using the lazy meta build that you are, not a week. I guess attention is more important so here it is.
...and I can only spare 1-2 hours a day to play. Except weekends of course, that's why I beat NG+ just now. Cut me some slack, bro.
Cut the rest of the posters some slack bro, try taking a rest from the slew of valueless posts and progress updates
>no fun allowed
Wh-Whatever, bro...
he's just mad because there's no more content to consoom. Don't constantly post ac uptades though that's cringe and a good chunk of the time people are just going to tell you didn't beat the game
how did your save get corrupted?
is that real?
Short answer: game wasn't properly shut down.
What kind of build is that?
TH-BTSD/FO3 "IT JUST WORKS"
On an unrelated note, how do you guys find the right color palettes to use for your cores?
I tried using the https://coolors.co website to come up with one
Only to realize I came up with an offbrand gundam lookalike which I wasn't going for lol
I just try to match two colours and hope for the best.
My best result was a tank that looked like it was made out of old JCB parts.
Other than that my mechs look shitty and generic, or like toys.
i made it my favourite colour then i made it not look shit
>how do you guys find the right color palettes
i just larp. Make characters based off characters or mechas that i like
see
I just mishmash some colours, using the preset patterns as a reference, I keep trying until I'm satisfied. I made pic related recently but something about it feels....off.
Maybe you should have one more color to contrast the smaller details more, it's what I did with mine with orange/yellow highlights here & there
I really like the look of BASHO arms, they remind me of the older AC games with their blocky design, too bad I never use them because of their abysmally low firearms specialization
>Maybe you should have one more color to contrast the smaller details more, it's what I did with mine with orange/yellow highlights here & there
Noted, I got fixated on those two colours alone since that's what I had in mind, woth the emphasis on gold especially. Well, seeing how it hasn't worked out I suppose I'll do that.
>that build
looking at it, maybe i can make a shinegreymon build
It's easy, I pick olive drab because it makes any death machine look cool
Mash together various palettes like a retard with his toys until something just werks and go from there. How'd I do color wheel fags?
>quit mission because I want to sell and buy different parts
>Didn't realize sulla and Balteus was the same mission and I have to beat sulla again to have a chance against Balteus
Aw wtf
you can change parts during missions
I needed to buy parts from the shop. Can you do that ?
>ng+ being more fun than ng
hmmm, bros?
You have more parts to play with.
Most of NG is you having to work with low tier shit or starting equipment.
In any NG+ after this you can just whizz around blowing everything up in a suped-up AC with great weapons. Plus you're more skilled as a pilot by then.
>people still using Basho for muh sick BOONKS not realizing why their guns can't hit the broad side of a barn
I'm so close to beating chapter 1 I swear I'm going to beat baeltus today
You got it 621, baltheus is a moron in comparison to you.
>mfw using EARSHOT for the first time
Does anything reach the pure KINO of the Ice Worm boss fight? Everything about that mission is pure hype, it replicates a 10/10 mecha anime episode/end of season battle perfectly.
Fighting Michigan and the Balam army
no checkpoints btw
yes actually. there's still some anime-esque moments for sure. Just depends on the ending you choose
I genuinely hope Fromsoft uses this fight as a baseline for some Elden Ring DLC setpiece involving Torrent
For me it's completely decimating PCA forces with unlimited boost while they scream in fear and agony, competing with Carla how many each of you destroy and fighting Rusty in the end
I won't miss
Watch out for friendly fire
All or nothing
I'm sure someone's tried but if you somehow jump in the path of the railgun shot when it fires can it hit you?
where did this tripfag came from and why is he shitting up the place?
picrel is literally me btw
AAAAARRRGGHHH
This build seems to perform very well in PvE and pretty good in PvP. Is there anything I should change to make it better? I really like dual lasers. The heavier double barreled ones are too heavy, i like to go fast.
I use something like this but with biped legs. I'm pretty sure you could fit VE-20B in there for more laser damage. Or, if you don't want to do that, you could at least upgrade the missiles. They're incredibly important for pressure when you're trying to run your keepaway game. Maybe even got to laser orbitals since you have such an energy surplus.
alright guys, i have adopted the sponsorship of a real corp now.....
>tfw shift manager sends you to re-education because you messed up an order

I heard that they give you free Big Macs when you work for them, sounds like a good gig. Congratz anon.
This must be the third or fourth McDonald's mech I've seen now, I don't get why it keeps happening.

>Augumented human Ronald
>I've got a job for you
>Destroy the Burger King supplies
>analysis mode
last a.c is going to be a copy of player's, isn't it?
it would be cool if that happpened
The bomb scatter melee thing is so good in both pve and pvp, strange how I don't see it more often
On another note, I've been seeing the exact same build like 5 times in the last few days
>chainsaw
>Zimmerman
>auto turrets
You get staggered once and you die. How do you deal with this shit? Dodging zimmerman consistently online feels impossible
>inb4 fight at a distance
They just need to assault boost and hit you once, and it's game over
The next game will feature AMS for ACs right?
I could see it being an extension
>press L3+Y to activate
>everytime it fires to intercept a missile it uses up its meter
>when depleted have to wait for it to charge back up
Current AC, I really like bone colors then i I thought to add a dark red for Marrow with bright red being all the lights for blood. Originally I was gonna do a bone/ivory color and blues
more ivory than bone
I prefer the darker tone, so I guess I should have just said Ivory.

>Escort the Weaponized Mining Ship
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA NOT THE WHEELS
Hope you enjoy explosives because that's really the main answer to the little shits
Have fun getting the logs in the Ibis mission
Honestly I didn't think they were too bad, but I was cooking them with the double flamethrowers so it sounds like my experience wasn't indicative of most others.
This mission is peaceful, it's inhabitants kind...
those of you that ran the entire game basically with dual zimmy and dual songbirds/laser cannon
is that fun to you?
I tried it and it felt so easy. I just don't have much fun absolutely demolishing games anymore. I dont get it
I can't into two zimmy's or songbirds. I either keep missing with it or I have to wait for everything to reload.
I dig your coomer 'blem but where's the coomer core? I'm rockin mine
How do you use laser weapon? Charge or just shoot?
For the pistols I just spam them, it's not really worth shooting them. Rifles are more situational since some of them have godly charged shot damage.
not worth charging I mean for pistols
Pistols were worse than kinetic ones but I should give them second chance since I like laser weapon.
They have quadruple the ammo and twice the range
I use them with the generator that gives 125% damage so they shred AP and you can spam them without overheating for quite a while. Range is not as good as rifles and they don't build stagger like the Ducketts but the damage is pretty nasty. Really good for PvE since you can wipe out MTs instantly and not care about your ammo.
>sakurafags
its sportswear yuuka
Many people's fun isn't the games themselves, but winning.
Also don't play multiplayer so I don't feel guilty for ruining other peoples fun.
no i only switch to my tank with dual flamethrowers and songbirds if im drunk and losing or want to finish a mission quickly
a good chunk of my fun is based on asthetics.
Pistols really are good, though.
Internet has search engines.
>Internet has search engines.
Real?
Perchance.
You can't just say perchance!
That's how you should be playing anyways since you don't wanna pay that much for the ammo costs
>just don't waste the ammo on grunts. That's how you should be playing anyways since you don't wanna pay that much for the ammo costs
hmmm no I will cause the holocaust in every single stage with my flamethrower
>just don't waste the ammo on grunts
Just don't play the game. Minmax the run, that makes the low ammo and low damage fine.
You can just go on a killing spree with better weapons.
Okay go ahead & use those other weps, pistols are fine. Just because you don't like to use them doesn't mean they're bad weapons. Like with most weapons they have their own characteristics & drawbacks that you have to work around
>Okay go ahead & use those other weps
That's what everyone does. It's making you seethe for some reason. You are being a tryhard and getting upset people don't want to do that.
reminder that if you use songbirds or ziggers you didn't beat the game
>she resorts to discord memes
a new low.
>didn't say miniguns or stun cannons
hehe, looks like i get a pass on this one.
I'm not even seething, I'm just saying pistols are viable & you have to mouth off about muh "meta" when I'm just saying if you work around their drawbacks they're good weapons, hop off my dick dude I'm not even the guy you've been arguing with all day.
Hey man I'm not saying pistols are the best things ever or saying that you should only use pistols, I'm just saying they can work
If this is a mission where this "would" be an issue, there's gonna be a supply point. Otherwise its a literal skill issue.
i've cleared up to NG++ with the laser pistols and laser cannons/plasma cannons/or vertical or horizontal plasma launchers (if the fight doesn't allow you pause like with charla)
the pistol dps is roughly doubled when you use appropriate arms for the recoil, otherwise you miss every other shot
ziggers make the game too easy and are boring to play, the frequent free restocks in missions remove their only downside
That's very neat.
The only missions where I had to leave my pistols at home was Michigan and defend strider.
>Muh """""""""""meta"""""""""""" tho
>The game is totally not balanced around pistols which is why you can S rank it with ease with dual pistols and they're top tier PvP weapons too
You just suck at the game, beware when the next regulation drops and they take away your journalist crutches
They're not the weakest weapons in the game, that goes to the kinetic rifles and non-minigun MGs,
>the kinetic rifles
I don't know, HARRIS is very good and the full-auto rifle with 450 rounds is alright(There definitely could've been a better rifle). But the laser rifle by far was the most underwhelming when compared to the prior two, maybe it was my build but I felt it was pretty weak. And since it was a laser weapon it inherently didn't deal much Stagger damage.
Duckett and Viento alone are some of the strongest kinetic weapons in the game, Sampu is a fucking menace in PvP, the laser handgun is incredibly powerful and is the single best energy weapon for your arms
The more you post the more I'm convinced you didn't touch the game.
SMGs are good though, Etsujin is really powerful and Chang Chen isn't far off either.
I like pairing the Ludlow & Chang Chen together to have a continuous stream of fire onto AC's, though now I just dual wield Ludlows so I can have a faster AC
>No I don't suck
You sure do if you think an AC or some LCs are an insurmountable hurdle for non-shotgun weapons.
Considering he thinks pistols of all things are unusable it's clear he doesn't even play the game
I've always done dual shotties and dual back grenades/some other back cannons so yeah
I tried that set up for a few S-Ranks, but honestly it's boring.
If I'm going to cheese, I use a big tank that's loaded up with DAKKA and explosions, otherwise I either use a heavy mech that's all about risk and reward for maximum punishes or a more recent fast mech that kills enemies through relentless small hits and can dodge return fire.
try you original build against brick wall then you'll come crawling back
how do i unlock cinder carla's rocket launchers? i had to use the stage to tank her cause i couldn't dodge them.
NG+
>swap pistols for rifles for a mission that was just MTs in NG so as to use something different and save money on ammo
>surprise, in NG+ you now have to fight two stealth machines with pulse shields and Iguazu and the rifles don't do dick to any of them
>end up spending just as much from having to basically empty both rifles and go through all my repair kits
I can't wait for a balance patch
Just get rid of the stealth snipers first and just hang back and watch Iguazu striggle with the pulse shield whip grunts
It's also the canon way of doing this mission
Will i get banned if i make edgy decals for my mech and play online?
I dunno. I've basically never seen them online though - most people do normal mechs or go full ironic weeb with theirs. I don't know if that's because the edgy ones get banned or if people just don't wanna be edgy.
The Ick on Eckromoi
>decided to team up with Middle Flatwell and fight Arquebus
>instead of trying to fight the Redguns
>Rusty took care of them instead
>he shows up in the next mission, as a planned assassin by V.II
Two birds, one stone type of deal?
But... it failed. What the fuck is V.II Snail doing
>took more tries to defend the Xylem command centre, than killing Ibis
I feel like a special kind of retard
You fags really blew up how hard the boss was
Either that, or all of you are playing heavyweight, slow ass tanks
I will admit though, I still have no clue how you're expected to dodge the attack where the mech just becomes a flying stingray. In the attempt I won, the boss just didn't get a chance to do it
So the way to dodge that attack is unironically just fly up seriously
>the mech just becomes a flying stingray.
Jump. Many boss melee attacks have ass vertical tracking, similar to your AC actually.
>took more tries to defend the Xylem command centre
How? The only thing that actually does damage are the suicide drones, and even if they all get through they only do enough damage to wipe the shield.
NTA but snipers are pretty annoying.
Funny how different peoples experiences are.
I never failed the defend xylem mission once on my 4 playthroughs, but Ibis still regularly offs me.
Is that possible to save Rusty, Carla and Ayre at the same time?
Carla's only purpose in life is to burn Ayre into nothingness, and she isn't loyal to you if you're trying to prevent that.
Shit taste anyway, real chads stop playing to keep G1 Michigan alive and well.
>Wanting to save everyone
You really want to get that cake and eat it, huh? The answer is no, 621.
gundam protag
What's the fastest boost speed you can achieve?
Fastest I got was 380
I think it's capped out at 400, since no matter how much other stuff I took off I couldn't get faster than that
I think I remember a 390 double sampu build that looked decently viable to use outside of boost autism
I know I missed some chests but how do I know wich one?
You don't. It would be nice to have a NG+ feature that would show if you collected all chests from a mission or not similar to logs, but as of now you caon only google.
Heavy builds dominate in pvp
Just got to the part in my second playthrough where he sends an assassin after you. What little fucking bitch lmao
Which chat would you reply to?
Where is Kate? But I bet Carla being as old as she is has insane head game.
cinder carla
also, not gonna lie, i low key like snail. He is mean but knows very well 621 is a problem.
>Walter not being “I got a cock for you 621”
God I hate the ice worm mission so much. It's not even hard, just boring af since you spend all the time doing nothing waiting to line up a perfect shot.
if you use the radar and know the spacing then you can hit it everytime it surfaces besides when the laser is charging
>V.I appears
>doesn't even heal himself
>dies
What was his endgame?
Being the weakest arena #1 ranker by far.
Ayre is the Rank 1 arena pilot. Also by far the hardest.
Fighting a very VERY strong dude
He was based and only wanted to break Carla's toys in front of her. If he beat 621 he'd have to go on to kill Carla instead of letting her wallow in her suffering.
If you don't kill him on first stagger he will heal it's just unlikely since you probably deleted him with shoulders or melee after stagger.
>be the headman of the arquebus corporate death squad
>literally half of your AC is built with balam parts
probably this game's greatest dissapointment.
>le heckin v.numba one
>dies instantly
Ibis is so hard
Does NG+ make enemies harder?
ACs start using repair kits which can be obnoxious. Like fighting Snail, Chatty, AND carla all in their maxium heavyweight ACs.
ACs use repair kits in NG
Im pretty sure my first playthrough only Raven did, but in NG+ everyone except the delivery guy was able to heal.
They healed in NG. It was one of my first seethe points when Sulla would heal and I was still a scrub.
You could be right, all I remember about NG Sulla was him kicking me in the fucking head 50 times
no, it adds harder mission paths.
Iguazu's big cock...
621's MONSTER schlong
>reminder that if you use songbirds or ziggers you didn't be-ACK!
The North Kims are taking the south back
Nips sure have a sense of humor.
Pistol players are seethers because they get rekt by zimmermans hardlocking them in pvp. All that effort and sacrifice to AP and stagger to force their meme builds and then the meta chad okiedokes them.
>do all logs
>Allmind calls you the kind of person who doesn't start working until the deadline is almost up
bitch
she's right
That only happens if you start doing it late into the campaign
>Just discovered on NG++ that Hitting the basic boost button adds a 1000% better stop when you're assault boosting
I like hitting jump/ascend so I just fall out of boost and slide still
okay what about inputting a lateral side boost immediately into a quick turn allowing you to move forward while changing your camera 90 degrees? What about input chaining lateral side boosts during AB and moving the camera allowing you to AB circles around enemy AC when you have hard lock on?
spoilerfags should die to double zims
