>tries to kill you because reasons >de-facto leader of the liberation front joins him in trying to kill you because reasons
Liberating Rubicon is like joining the empire in Skyrim.
The Rubiconians are absolute retards >We're the PCA and we're going to kick the corpos off your planet
YAY >you have to stop huffing Coral though
FUCK OFF
I think the PCA wanted everyone out of Rubicon, including the liberation front. But the latter were so weak already that the PCA thought that their bullets were better spent on the corpos.
The PCA was fine with the Rubiconians because they always lived there. They weren't going to genocide them nor were they going to pay for their relocation. They just wanted everyone to stop fucking with the Coral
>fight iguazu >suddenly we are ambushed by invisible robot >iguzu ask for a truce >ok >kill invisible robot >iguazu fucking attack me >no more ammo >had to bitch slap him until he die
he deserve every bad things that happen to him
Pistols, it had to be pistols. What the fuck was from thinking with pistol ammo counts?
coquilette was the name? i used two of them because i like hand gun and i though it would be a simple mission, not one where i had to fight another AC and invisible robots.
Yeah, if you don't push his shit in they jump both of you and he stops shooting at you until they're dead, then immediately starts shooting you again when they go down. Best move is to use the chaos to get potshots on him while he cries like a bitch.
Only hard lock for boost kicks and melee. Use your expansion tool. There is also an FCS that performs at 100% at midrange. This is sadly a dandori issue.
you're just building wrong. you can't to full recoil control or full firearm specialization. you need something in the middle for the biggest gains, else you're fucked.
t. watched autistic streamer testing it out yesterday
>reducing stagger
Shit tier
What you do is you reduce their damage, and maintain their stagger. Turn shotguns into a weapon that does minimal damage but can stagger easier than other kinetic weapons. Maybe reduce their range a bit (or at least reduce zimmy's range)
Then increase the damage value of regular rifles.
Ideally what you want is that
Handguns are pure stagger build up and almost no damage
Shotguns is the next tier. Good stagger but sub optimal damage even at close range.
Rifles are the perfect balance. okay stagger and okay damage. Also reduce their ricochet at longer rangers.
And then machine guns are pure damage. Almost no stagger build up but the more you can keep barraging the faster damage builds up. They kind of already do that.
If you compare haldeman/zims and coqs/ducketts you might notice that zims do almost 2x as much dmg/impact for a heavier upgrade, both dmg/stagger are likely to be normalized
>asshole to you from day one >sends you hate mail after getting his ass kicked >boasts about climbing the wall >bails out when actually trying >him bailing out does get Volta killed >ambushes you when doing a mission for Carla >deserts after the underground exploration goes sour >ambushes you while you successfully explore the underground >hires an assassin to ambush you while exploring the underground >ambushes you again while fighting snail
He's not a fun person to be around.
You forgot the part where Iguana act like a smart ass during an important Discord call with all the parties during the Ice Worm debriefing. This make his superior, Michigan, look bad. Michigan put him in his place as a result. Then he bitch during the ice worm while trying to invalidated your part of the mission.
>Redguns laugh at Iguazu >In contact with Allmind >Possess crybaby-like abilities >Controls Headtaker with an iron but limp fist >Owns castles & banks mentally >Direct descendant of the ancient bugman blood line >Will bankroll the last cities on Rubicon (Iguatecca will be be the worst city) >Owns 99% of augmented research accidents in space >First designer augmented human was in all likelihood a failed Iguazu >Said to have 85+ IQ, such intelligence in the Redguns has only existed deep in Gun 13 territory >Ancient Alean scriptures tell of an imp who will descend upon Rubicon and will bring an era of seething and unprecedented technological failure to Rubicon >He is owned by Nanobot R&D labs around the world >He likely has Mind Gammabots inside him right now >Iguazu is in regular communication with Gun 4 and Gun 6 forwarding whinging edge to the Redguns. Who do you think set up the meeting between Gun 4 & the Wall (Last meeting between the two for over 1000 years) and arranged the Redguns' last trip to Rubicon in history literally a few days later in the direct line of fire of Gun 13 Raven? >He resorted to hiring a hitman in under a cycle >Corporations entrust their easiest jobs to the Headtaker. There’s no money in Gun 5, only Gun 13 >He is about 2 decades old, from the space-time reference point of the base human currently accepted by our society >In reality, he is a timeless being existing in all points of time and space from the new game to the end of the NG++. We don’t know his ultimate plans yet. We only know that they won't work out.
Michigan doesn't hate anyone, he's the most supportive character in the game. I think he even has dialogue in "intercept the redguns" where he specifically defends Iguazu from being trashtalked.
Idk about Volta but everyone, from Michigan to Snail to Walter and even Ayre agrees that you should bully Iguazu anytime he exists within your range. It's obligatory at this point
Iguazu was revealing SENSITIVE INFORMATION of an upcoming Dam fight in an open mission, the same place where the RLF are in and (you) a totally stranger, and Michigan was absolutely piss off about it. You're doing Michigan a favor by beating the shit out of Iguazu
It doesn't unlock anything but more money to take this side. No, it's not even required for NG++ third ending.
t. only did it once in NG+ but not in NG++
Everyone goes on and on about the PVP meta with shotguns, stun guns, missiles, lasers, and whatever the hell the current meme for 1v1 is.
What's the best kind of build to go for in team matches?
tanku anon, I shall become Zeus. And it actually might end up being a decent kit too. >Baton for melee >Pistol as a main weapon/chaff clear >Needle as sniper/fuck you damage >Grenade launcher for, you know, grenades
Go to that room with the lava spewing out of the pipes then go in through the one that doesn't have lava coming from it. Do that in the mission where you first explore the grid too. In that mission, the lava one has some data too.
theres a tube dropping molten lava or whatever
theres another tube besides it and you can go in it
In the original first version of the mission, you find the debt chad there instead
>wants to make nineball level ac pilots for the next war >gives a bunch of repeating trials rather than mock missions
should of made Formula Front beta and stick with AC matches
>Decide to try the Pulse Greatshield, (Scutum I think?) >Ok so I probably want a Minigun with this for that juicy sustain yeah? >Takes me about five times as long to kill a mediocre AC mid sortie and even died once, threw him in the dumpster with my dual laspistol lightweight next try >Well maybe it's at least good against bosses, since you need to burst fire the minigun against ACs and you can just M1 hold against big enemies >Its not
Who could have foreseen that taking reduced damage and being slow<taking NO damage and being fast.
< Tankinng the damage and stagger to death with canonns and gatlings with a wheelchair drifting at high speed>>>>>
If you want protection just grab the terminal shield extensions
Actually that's a good point, tanks would probably be better with shields just because you don't need to QB as often. (Which disables your shield)
I think it's most likely just the fact that the Greatshield sucks since you need to leave it on for like 3 seconds before it gets strong, I imagine the best shield is whatever one has the best standard block without a penalty for it's QB period.
Speed, repair cost, ammo cost. Sometimes there are special requirements like "kill the combat log holder/s" or "keep the defence target above X amount of HP".
I have all missions S-ranked so you can ask specifics.
>double railgun >double carla missiles >spend the entire match at a distance and have people wonder why they are are getting staggered to hell.
Is this what a boat missile feels like?
I feel like the Souls-style PVP retardation on YouTube is providing a smokescreen for the actually good parts and play styles. It feels like when a new fighting games comes out and everyone thinks the grappler is broken.
>pick light build >pick close range weapons >run up to heavy guy with way more stability than you >he shoots you then kicks you, you lose >surprise pikachu face
they should have been jumping away and kiting with missile spam and chip damage from main weapons, not trying to stabilility break or melee weapon insta win tactics
Jeenine is a console player btw. If you don't know him, he's fucking crazy at DS3/ER pvp and is an AC veteran, played with him some last week in 3v3s and it was fun. This game is a lot different on console as you'd expect since everyone has to use a controller, hard lock is used much more by both good and bad players. Light builds on console can definitely still be played right but the higher close range FCS can shut down strafes pretty easily and you need to be very aggressive with kicks, quick boosts, and timing your shots to stand a chance, but the opponents expansion is a huge crutch for when they get staggered and with meta weapons that deal good damage from medium-long range like worm stun needles, yeah you'd get fucked. Your best bet is to play like
>pick light build >pick close range weapons >run up to heavy guy with way more stability than you >he shoots you then kicks you, you lose >surprise pikachu face
they should have been jumping away and kiting with missile spam and chip damage from main weapons, not trying to stabilility break or melee weapon insta win tactics
mentions and use your agility for ranged evasion. They actually do well against other tetrapod missileboats because you can more easily dodge the missiles with your light weight and high boost, but tetras are still the best in general for being flexible. In 3v3s light builds are fun in the city and xylem.

I just use a usb stick since my PS5 is right next to my PC. Some people also use Twitter if you have a linked account, upload to twitter then download to your PC.
The instant I saw allmind I guess there was going to be some sort of mercenary AI waifu route but it turns out that it was a schizo fuel ghost route and the ai route she just tries to kill you. What is this absolute bullshit Allmind exists for app mercenaries not for gay coral/human symbiosis
That's because you're retarded. Allmind's route is just Armored Core 1s story again for the 3rd time. They even bring back Raven's Nest fake operator from Master of Arena, and have the Iguazu fight have a second AC like the multiple Nineballs.
They just have you end up on a different planet instead of on the surface in the ending.
>...Raven. >I... think you should wait for another hour before responding. >We've been together on so many missions... >We should send her a picture of us out on a sortie. >Whatever you choose to do, I'll support you.
>Augmented human C4-621, Callsign: Raven. >Independent mercenary Kate Markson sent you a message 1 hour, 12 minutes, and 53.26 seconds ago. >Our records indicate that you have received and read this message, yet you have not replied. >Please acknowledge Kate Markson's message as soon as possible. >Allmind exists for all mercenaries.
>feel like Ayre is literally impossible with my build >no real burst damage outside of assault armor, just basic missiles and two laser rifles, can’t get stun when her shields are down >remember the hard lock exists, have literally never used the entire game >beat her in three tries, second try was a double KO
I’m actually astonished at how insane it is, it actually keeps up with her *teleports behind you* horseshit
Quick turn has dumb restrictions on when the input goes through so unspec’d out of it immediately. The bigger deal wasn’t the *teleports behind you* it was when you duck under the sword swings and you *teleports behind her* the hard lock makes it so no shots are missed
Just boost up close and sword its face when you have EN to spare and shoot from below when you don't.
you can literally beat him with your eyes closed in 30 seconds by just pressing assault boost then 2 swings of the sword, land and repeat
I did beat him third try, I'm just surprised at how much harder it is of a tutorial boss than... Anything I've played really. Even the first boss fights you're supposed to lose in Elden ring and Sekiro are somehow easier than this lightspeed mountain-sized copter that keeps going out of bounds. I'm more worried for the future if this what the tutorial looks like is all.
He's way easier than the Sentry or Genichiro.
Only his big missiles are dangeros in terms of damage.
But with assault boost they can't hit you.
ppl have problems because they just press A to slowly float up to him and melee, or worse they try to hide around the buildings and slowly chip him down with ranged shit
It my experience during stagger with the laser rifles you’re better off just spamming them at the highest rate of fire during stagger. This is because they do such shit impact damage you aren’t wasting time at 90% stagger waiting to stagger with your one open weapon, you can keep the pressure up the whole time. For bosses at least, charging is way better against ACs
The camera keeps up with ANYTHING as long as you don't touch the view controls at all. Aim lags slightly behind, so if you shoot during a quick movement you are likely to miss.
Hard lock is literally unbreakable if you don't touch your stick from my experience and since the game is so focused on point blank/melee range the tracking debuff doesn't matter. Kind of feels shitty when long range weapons like sniper rifles/cannons and rail cannons have been outright deleted and even the new "long range" options like linear rifles are best used by spamming in close range.
Hard lock limits evasive movements because of the way it centers on the enemy AC; you’ll have to break lock to avoid things like the Walter blade charge
>two VE-60LCA triple laser shoulder canon >Harris linear rifle >laser lance
I believe in energy weapon superiority, zimmers songbirds and missile gunboats eat shit.
this game is a 6, the total lack of stories and characters if fucking shitcunt, so goddamn soulless, only the gameplay is good, and you get 5 minutes of it before you are assaulted by more fucking audio logs. FUCK YOU FROMSOFT
VE-20B, the 150 one is a pretty hefty damage increase but you might have trouble actually fitting all your energy on it. It's a quite a bit heavier but VE-20C is still a pretty high damage increase and has more than enough energy for an all energy loadout.
>Never played AC but I like From and people seem to be enjoying this >Just got it >Have spent the last half hour dying to the fucking helicopter on the first mission
I know I'm a shitter but it seems significantly harder to read attacks when they all just look like the same orange streaks and most of the hits I take come from off-screen. Every time I make good progress, stun it, and look like I might win I suddenly get an enormous one-shot of every weapon firing at once that kills me before I can even react and use a repair kit.
If you're having issues its probably because you're not moving enough. Stay under it as much as possible and assault boost at it from below. for the missiles you just have to dodge their trajectory at the last second with a quickboost. Once you're actually next to it just ram it with the laser blade and keep close for as long as you can. If you're not in front of the nose it cant really attack you.
Dodge missiles by staying airborn as much as you can manage.
Missiles hitting the ground creates explosions which will damage you, and you don't have any i-frames on your dodge.
>Half an hour dying the the helicopter
I never understood this. I'm really bad at this game but it only took me one death to notice what I was doing wrong. You use your sword. The mech can fly, and the game spent the tutorial telling you this.
It's counter-intuitive as an AC player to take out a permaflight enemy with melee using an AC with shit tier boost/EN capacity, that's about it. I still didn't get the memo by Balteus, which filtered me for 40 minutes. Compared to my second and third playthroughs where I nailed them on the first try. AC6 feels like Sekiro: Iguazu Dies Thrice, and that takes more or less adjusting depending on your previous experiences with or without previous Fromsoft titles.
From what you're saying don't try to fight it like you're staring at a boss doing their telegraphed combos. Assualt boost up to it and constantly laser blade it underneath it. If you're both in sights of each other and he's gunning you down you're not dodgerolling it
I really like using this build for NG+. Vvc-760PR is really good, though it's charge shot it pretty useless. Also do screenshots not work with this game or is that just proton?
I like the charged shot against single targets when I have the height advantage on them. On the ground however, it's incredibly likely that one of your three blasts will just eat dirt immediately.
You're killing the RLF officer in the tetrapod right? Killing mini-boss enemies gives you enough 'points' to not only offset ammo/damage costs but are worth enough to boost you from A to S.
Rank is determined by speed + money gained. If you just run past everything and get no bonus money you usually will only get A. In some cases i think illing the optional AC or BAWS things are required to get S
>customising your AC for more efficient fights
now you can have 4minutes of fun instead of the usual 5 that this shit game affords you before shoving more audio logs up your ass in place of story, characterisation and a world to explore
Loved that it's not based on you beating one of the other ACs, it's just a fucking timer, so you can absolutely get shitstomped in the 3v1 if you don't kill the other two quick.
I had that before, but the Arquebus generator I have goes all in on energy weapon specialization and I get fucking insanely short charge time on the energy shotguns.
Fair enough. Try the shoulder shotgun in that case. If you wanna keep the dual plasma launchers at least stagger them when you shoot. Neat looking guy though.
Might do that, but the main reason I went double plasma launchers, and the three-cell version at that is that I'm basically maxing out my EN Load as it is.
If you wanna see REAL charge times you gotta check this stat called energy supply efficiency. Put more distance between your energy load and total energy costs. The more leftover energy you have the faster everything charges.

No shit. I did not know that, not him but that makes a huge difference.

Yeah. If you feel like your generator takes too long to recover lighten the EN load. Maybe switch off of that energy hog light frame core.
The LC in corporate forces is a motherfucker. Some charged enemy attacks in this game come out so fast that I don't know if I should be dodging faster, or in a different direction, or what. It's like instant. Maybe I have to stick close to this guy
I tried to make a energy weapon build and I'm tickling this guy with a feather, still can't dodge his laser despite the warning sound. Am I doomed to fall back on zimmermans every fucking time? I'm a shitter
>RLF cuts your pay you because you failed to protect the Strider >Walter pays you out of his own pocket instead
This entire game is filled with little things like this. Also, feels good to have gotten the S-rank so I'll never have to touch this mission again.

Not the usual client this time: we have a request directly from the ALLMIND mercenary support network. Heavily encrypted. Here's the briefing.
>Augmented human C4-621, Callsign: Raven. >ALLMIND appreciates your support. >We require a rare artifact known as: "The D." >This item is essential to ALLMIND's continuing growth and development. >Please dispatch to the following coordinates. Independent mercenary Kate Markson will meet you there. >It is essential that you give Kate Markson the D as soon as you can. >Allmind exists for all mercenaries.
From my time with the game I'd say hard lock is good for melee and short range weapons like handguns. You want to use rushdown offense with handguns and stay extremely close while also jumping over enemies. The hard lock makes it easier to stay glued to the enemy when you're this close and you need to focus on getting them staggered as fast as possible meaning you don't want to lose sight of them for a second. Once your handguns finish reloading you need to be ready to dump the mags into them again before giving them a chance to recovery stagger. Also kicks and melee attacks are much easier to connect with hard lock. Medium/long range is good with soft lock. When you're at a distance it's easier to keep the enemy on screen and the accuracy increase from soft lock is good to have. That being said the hard lock can still work fine at medium range with high fire rate weapons. Fast bosses like Ibis though seem to favor hard lock with how they're constantly moving around. Soft lock also works well when just going through the mission and taking out low tier mooks.
The entire iguazu last boss setup is the 9ball homage, just an ai replicating a human mind and has a grudge against you. Obviously they arent going to literally call him 9ball but the callback is there.
Man, the amount of alternative dialogues in the game depending on what you do is great >Shoot down the invisible mech in the investigate BAWS base before it ambushed me >Walter comments on how he was right to tell you to expect the unexpected
I don't think she figured it out until the end. The whole thing could've been avoided if Walter just said "hey, let my pilot through" but Ayre was the one that sent you that way, not him. I guess Walter didn't realize you were going through her territory or something, I don't know. Either that or she was testing you to see if you were worthy and not a shit pilot.
Maybe just testing you. And honestly probably wondering why YOU are attacking HER since she probably knows Walter didn't authorize the mission but doesn't know about Ayre's shenanigans.
walter didn't send you there, so she just thought you were some random tourist. once you started wiping the floor with her shit, she probably started to put two and two together, but didn't want to just take all the damage you caused lying down, carla tends to take stuff personally
eventually it gets out of hand and she realizes it's just not worth it

I've been destroying pve arena ranks
This is ridiculous, the second they try to close the distance they are fucking dead
It's not great but it's not unplayable. Light mains can't circle and dodge the enemy like they could in previous games. The rest is just metashitters who try to tell others how to play.
the only reason to worry about whether a build is Optimal is if you want to maximize your number of PvP wins
the fun of the game isn't finding the most categorically broken build, it's about figuring out what you want to be and then building the most optimal version of that.
if you want to be blasting around at warp speed hitting things with melee, there are plenty of options, like mastering the laser dagger, or using burst SMGs to stagger the enemy for a pilebunker.
>that guy that made a unique emblem to try and recreate the Elden Ring rune things >the mecha is simply colours but looks cool >still loader 4
Do they just like, rename the mecha in the AC data and then forget to load in the data before going in?
They might not even be aware of AC naming considering you only see it rarely and the assembly for some reason makes the name display super transparent that it may as well not be displayed.
Coral is human and consumes fried human brains
Thats why the Fires if Raven is actually the good end despite what Ayrefag chuds keep spamming
If you don't burn the coral then it will completely kill all humanity in the universe

You're probably missing a set of MTs at the far corner of the map.
Fires of Raven is the good end, because it is the end where you don't betray/kill/disappoint Walter and Carla to help a voice in your head/people who tried to kill you for no reason.
It is alive and it takes human consciousness, which is why it's dangerous to have the Coral propagating because eventually it will take over every single planet in the solar system
it's an extremely potent self-replicating fuel source and data conductor, including the ability to conduct consciousness itself. smoking coral is probably like a combination of huffing gas and dropping acid: you're introducing poison into your brain, dulling its sense of perception, while also streaming whatever consciousness it's carrying directly into your brain.
as part of this rapid self-replication, it regularly undergoes "mutations," which combined with its ability to conduct data, eventually leads to sentience.
old-gen augs and lifelong coral huffers are able to interface closely enough with it to "communicate" with sentient strains of coral. in both cases we know of, this sentience manifested as a loyal and supportive coralwife.
>and you can fucking smoke it?
yes, and daddy RLF smoked so much of it he made Contact with a sentient wave of coral that wanted to be his loving and supportive alien wife. no wonder they're wanting to keep the corps away from it
>Swarm intelligence similar to a nascent hivemind. C-wave entities like Ayre or Seira are the next step up in coral sentience after sufficient coral density in a local space has been achieved; and All Mind's plot in the true ending seems to imply that the further evolution of that would be a coral-wave entity taking control of the gestalt mass of coral and becoming the dominant mind—and from there, the merge, or synthesis, with humanity.
I'm on chapter 4 now and I feel like I'm doing it wrong. I'm just UNGA BUNGAing my way through everything with rockets and the occasional punch/pile bunker. I feel like I should be learning to dodge better but my missile magnet AC seems to get by after a few attempts.
>Missiletank
Why. This isn't even good, it's just incredibly tedious.
Autism, it felt better for the picture to have one of every leg type represented. When I use Mars I go quad so I can just hover around and spam missiles.
Is there a consistent way to dodge Ibis's slashes or is the whole fight just a DPS check?
I've had several attempts that were going well, then it'll fly above me so that the camera fucks up and I'll get stunned by the first slash and eat the next one/two.
the slashes anticipate your movement. if you keep boosting in one direction, the next one will account for this and get you. you need to boost in opposite directions for each slash.
most of its bigger attacks work like this, you have to bait out the attack by moving one way, then boost the opposite way after it fires
Ibis anticipates your dodge. I found the the most consistent way to dodge them was to dodge straight back and strafe out of the way. Alternatively, you could try dodging forward at the last second to go under them but you'll probably eat one. Keep in mind that my boost speed was 350 when I did this.
>losing steam to finish ng++
Bros.... I've been trying different builds but they all feel so samey....and when they aren't they aren't as satisfying as LASER LANCE PILE BUNKER COMBO.
I genuinely cant find a fun loadout that uses the Kurasawa. Like, its so heavy and energy intensive that its basically the entire build and firing one charge laser off every 30 seconds is not fun fgameplay.
You have to build around it. You also only use the full charge when you're sure you're going to land it on a staggered enemy. Otherwise just use the plasma spam or laser charge. The initial charge is super quick so you can fire it off pretty often. I really hope they give it another half as much ammo though.
Yeah but thats the issue. Even with a heavy weight build you are pretty limited in the entire rest of your kit, and its really hard to "play" an attack that takes legit 10 seconds to charge. And the ammo makes spamming anything but the full charge impossible for all but the shortest missions.
I genuinely cant find a fun loadout that uses the Kurasawa. Like, its so heavy and energy intensive that its basically the entire build and firing one charge laser off every 30 seconds is not fun fgameplay.
arquebus is the only faction that gives you missions designed to also screw you over. everyone else pays you to do the job, you do it, they're happy, and you get paid
>Chapter 1
Eh, this is okay. A bit disjointed and I don't know or care who these other pilots yelling at me are >Chapter 2
These RaD guys are dicks. At lease Ayre seems nice. Fuck me that's a long first mission. >Chapter 3
HOLY SHIT THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME
It took a while, but I finally love this game. Chapter 3 is just kino mission after kino mission.
Chapter 3 is by far the best chapter in the game >PCA suddenly shows up and the stakes raise high as fuck >tons of unique bosses and encounters >some of the best missions in the game like destroy the fuel storage or attacking the space port >borrowed wings >Cataphrac kino including Ayre starting to realize how not on the level Walter is >quick quick slow >Pure kinography "I wont miss" ending boss of the chapter.
Neither chapter 4 or chapter 5 managed to reach it. Though Breach the Karman Line in chap 5 is a great mission too.
Chapter 2 isn't even a real chapter, more like an intermission.
Same goes for Chapter 4, it feels like one continuous mission.
Chapter 1 and 3 are the only real chapters.
Chapter 4 was good especially on NG+ with the extra stuff.
Chapter 5 was too short as well sadly, though again it had the Karman Line mission if you go Fires which is great.
But yeah chapter 2 is basically just 3 missions I think? Infiltrate grid 086, then either kill the Dosers or stop their hacking, and then Ocean crossing.
No idea why they didn't prolong chapter 2 a bit with more Carla missions.
Stop hating on hags. They're a treasure. Especially unmarried and lonely ones
I can't think of much missions that could be done >Connect power to the catapult >Retake controls from PCA
Something else, no idea what.
>connect power to the catapult >fix the elevator >random RLF missions on NG+ about securing some of those grid levels since that's where they live/hide in >One of them could be teaming up with Ziyi >Carla's your handler/mission rep the entire time to build up more interactions with her to make the decision in chapter 5 even more gut wrenching. >meting Chatty early
Lock on is why people get filtered by Ibis. I kept getting killed by her sword waves until I realized hard lock centers your camera in a way that limits evasive movements
No, people get filtered by Ibis because they insist on running their own builds instead of just fighting bullshit with bullshit.
Ibis deserves nothing but double chaingun and double needles with a wheelchair. It will never deserve anything but.
I thought that was just keeping our bodies in stasis/stable condition. Don't want the meat to deteriorate from being stagnant while you're waiting for your stock to be sold.
I think a lot of anons are more attached to "physically mangled, emotionally deadened walking corpse, who's essentially fused to an AC, and can barely even function outside of it" to be a more interesting story premise for the game than "normal hot guy with a quirk or two," especially given how the story centers on the emotional connection with the weird alien gf in your head
>physically mangled, emotionally deadened walking corpse, who's essentially fused to an AC, and can barely even function outside of it
I may have not payed enough attention, but he has to be able-bodied enough to jump into another AC when the main one got stolen.
>I think a lot of anons are more attached to "physically mangled, emotionally deadened walking corpse, who's essentially fused to an AC, and can barely even function outside of it
The only "anons" attached to that are the fucking trannies that keep raiding ac threads
They aren't. A group of losers trying to dominate the threads kept dictating what the characters looked like while spamming small amounts of jp OC like it was cred.
None of it made sense so people disagreed and the small group is in a cope spiral trying to consensus crack their wrong opinion into being right again.
personally I'm of the mindset that 621 was probably mostly crippled early in the story, then Contact happens and their coral-based augs start functioning better as they have more thought and capability in their body as the story progresses. not once does 621 do anything outside of your control that something like auto-pilot and intro scenes don't do until after Chapter 1 where they communicate to Walter about Ayre's voice in their head
I still prefer the idea of them being far removed from your Ace Combat protags of badass ace luxury in favor of someone who is in such a shitty situation that they're always the scrappy, fucked up underdog, at least
>being far removed from your Ace Combat protags of badass ace luxury in favor of someone who is in such a shitty situation that they're always the scrappy, fucked up underdog, at least
That stops right after climbing the wall. Everyone is singing your praises after that and even Walter starts warming up to you.
If you wanna break up the monotony of running through the story, sure. But you will eventually have to stop doing S-ranks and complete the story which could kill your momentum.
Honestly I don't even think a full pilot suited 621 is on the table given the Chapter 5 start seeming to make them have to crawl for what little you see, but who knows? Iguazu is gen-4 and he can eject like a moron repeatedly, yet every defeat we take is treated as death.
Maybe you have a point, the perspective is all over the fucking place. If we take this sight of junkbot as 621's direct perspective without a weird zoom on top, 621 is fucking massive.
Thing is these machines are like 10 meters tall. Those tiny helicopters you destroy throughout the game are so tiny because ACs are fuckhuge by comparison, and the game world is actually modeled with this to scale. So I figure 621 is zooming in or raised up on something in that scene.

I know he isn't. You just underwent attempted re-education when the cutscene starts that is why you are on your side.
You really didn't play the game did you shitposter?
Finally beat Candlering in the Eliminate PCA Enforcement Squad mission. Got lucky and managed to corner him in a valley so my charged pile bunker wouldn't miss but I'll take it.
It's missing that one dialogue that nearly mirrors Pixy >Looks like we both still got what it takes >Now we find out who's number 1
While Rusty says >You always did perform better under pressure, buddy.
>despite all the money and effort he put into his augmentations and top of the line AC, he is only the number 2 to a pure human in a budget machine
How salty is Snail?
an ego as big as snail's can only be built on a metric shitton of salt. NOBODY is better than snail and he's going to prove it by becoming king bitch of rubicon, no matter who he has to backstab to get there
>he is only the number 2 to a pure human in a budget machine
He doesnt know that, he and everyone else assumes Freud is a top of the line aug. Shame we dont get much out him. Honestly they could had dedicated a whole extra chapter on shitting on the PCA after the main float arrival which just ends when the Ice Worm gets meme'd on.
It really is a shame most of cool pilots appear only to get instantly killed. Hawkins, Nile, O'Keef, King, Freud.
At least guys like G6 get some screen time in voicemails before their single doomed appearance
>Arquebus mission for chasing out the rest of the PCA >get to listen to comms banter the entire mission >Freud is done first and shittalks the others/points out flaws in the enemy pilot's movements
>Too shit to beat the arena with a mech >Try a tank and it hard - counters seemingly everyone in there >Now I feel like I'm cheating
There's no middle ground here.
So you're just having a shit day and want a fight/to upset someone. Got it, I'll just be ignoring any further outbursts from you, then. Hope whatever is making you this childish gets better soon, anon.
Snail DOES sound a bit more likeable in Japanese. He's snobby englishman in english but he at the very least uses polite keigo in Japanese while looking down at you.
Funny moment >Usually have LB charged laser shotgun held down during fighting >Fighting the stealth mission AC >He tells me to stop >gives me the option to accept or refuse his offer >Being curious if this is ng+ stuff I accept >As soon as I accept my shotgun unloads on him >Have to continue fighting
Any fellow edgelords wanna help me out? How should I have the text at the bottom, is "Dawn is the enemy" too wordy? Should I just have "enemy", or some other phrase about fearing the sun?
>If 621 dies after killing Pater, Hawkins goes "it should have been me" >If 621 dies after killing Hawkins, Pater just goes "V.V Pater, awesome" >He even gets to be V.III Pater if you die after O'Keefe
What a piece of shit
Play the mission again and listen closer next time you spaz. Pater isn't celebrating his partner's death at all. The dude is panicking and on the verge of hysterics.
That line more implies that he doesn't have a filter when talking to people. All it says is that his undignified way of speaking hints at a lack of empathy.
>If 621 dies after killing Pater, Hawkins goes "it should have been me" >If 621 dies after killing Hawkins, Pater just goes "V.V Pater, awesome" >He even gets to be V.III Pater if you die after O'Keefe
What a piece of shit
Pater very clearly is in over his head as both V.V. and V.III. and the promotion celebration is coping mechanism
Especially in the LC fight. Guy sounds like he's legitimately pissing himself in that one and trying to cope.

Liberating Rubicon is like joining the empire in Skyrim.
The Rubiconians are absolute retards
>We're the PCA and we're going to kick the corpos off your planet
YAY
>you have to stop huffing Coral though
FUCK OFF
mmmm tasty
I think the PCA wanted everyone out of Rubicon, including the liberation front. But the latter were so weak already that the PCA thought that their bullets were better spent on the corpos.
The PCA was fine with the Rubiconians because they always lived there. They weren't going to genocide them nor were they going to pay for their relocation. They just wanted everyone to stop fucking with the Coral
>fight iguazu

Real G shit is to keep killing him while he's distracted then kill the robots. He hates it so much.
>no more ammo
bro wat? You have to kill like 10 fodder enemies and one tetrapod before his fight. What did you bring to the mission?
Pistols, it had to be pistols. What the fuck was from thinking with pistol ammo counts?
coquilette was the name? i used two of them because i like hand gun and i though it would be a simple mission, not one where i had to fight another AC and invisible robots.
That caught me off guard, and I thought he was telling the robots to stop attacking him so he could focus on killing you
>robots
>he doesn't know
>Iguazu means big water

>He consistently cries bitch tears without end
Pottery
Everyone in the Redguns is named after a river/body of water.
Wait I thought he brought those in after you killed him. They can show up before that?
Yeah, if you don't push his shit in they jump both of you and he stops shooting at you until they're dead, then immediately starts shooting you again when they go down. Best move is to use the chaos to get potshots on him while he cries like a bitch.

The single rifle looks cooler and that's what's really important ok
Accuracy: 0% build
>He doesn't have the right arms and fcs

you're just building wrong. you can't to full recoil control or full firearm specialization. you need something in the middle for the biggest gains, else you're fucked.
t. watched autistic streamer testing it out yesterday
What build are you using? I've been having incredible success with lasers.
I hate how wimpy looking the biped kick is. How do we keep losing to chickenlegs bipedbros...
https://www.youtube.com/@Myndrrr/videos
reduce shotgun stagger by 15%, reduce range by 15%
buff rifle range by 20%
Linear Rifle bros, our silent ascent begins
>reducing stagger
For this to work stagger needs to made non essencial feature.
Otherwise you just get double pistols into Piledriver as the new optimum
Why do people go into From games expecting balanced PvP?
Define "medium range"
Close is basically standing next to each other
Iguana? Don’t even remember who that is.

It's just a job, 621. Also, Michigan secretly thinks it's based anyways
it's ok, one of them is iguazu, he has it coming
You're a merc, Michigan understands.
Soon enough they'll pay you to do their work again.
Michigan hates the guys he sent to fight you. Iguazu is a shitter and deserves everything you do to him. Everything and worse.
>Michigan hates the guys he sent to fight you.
He does not, Michigan is like that with everyone.
Alright fair hate isn't an emotion Michigan has, but he does think they could use some toughening up.
QRD on Iguazu's crimes?
>asshole to you from day one
>sends you hate mail after getting his ass kicked
>boasts about climbing the wall
>bails out when actually trying
>him bailing out does get Volta killed
>ambushes you when doing a mission for Carla
>deserts after the underground exploration goes sour
>ambushes you while you successfully explore the underground
>hires an assassin to ambush you while exploring the underground
>ambushes you again while fighting snail
He's not a fun person to be around.
You forgot the part where Iguana act like a smart ass during an important Discord call with all the parties during the Ice Worm debriefing. This make his superior, Michigan, look bad. Michigan put him in his place as a result. Then he bitch during the ice worm while trying to invalidated your part of the mission.
>Hehe, looking pretty beat up there, freelancer. Not so smug now, are you?
>AIIIIIIIIIIIE I CAN'T GO DOWN FIRST
Michigan constantly shitting on Iguazu gives me joy.
>Redguns laugh at Iguazu

>Owns 99% of augmented research accidents in space

>Said to have 85+ IQ, such intelligence in the Redguns has only existed deep in Gun 13 territory
>Ancient Alean scriptures tell of an imp who will descend upon Rubicon and will bring an era of seething and unprecedented technological failure to Rubicon

>Iguazu is in regular communication with Gun 4 and Gun 6 forwarding whinging edge to the Redguns. Who do you think set up the meeting between Gun 4 & the Wall (Last meeting between the two for over 1000 years) and arranged the Redguns' last trip to Rubicon in history literally a few days later in the direct line of fire of Gun 13 Raven?
>He resorted to hiring a hitman in under a cycle

>>Owns castles & banks mentally
This killed me
Michigan doesn't hate anyone, he's the most supportive character in the game. I think he even has dialogue in "intercept the redguns" where he specifically defends Iguazu from being trashtalked.
He just wants them to toughen up. It's tough love.
But Iguazu is a moron about it and leaves G4 to die while he is explaining that fact to him.
Yeah Michigan knows the mame of every maggot on that unit he's a great commander.
Idk about Volta but everyone, from Michigan to Snail to Walter and even Ayre agrees that you should bully Iguazu anytime he exists within your range. It's obligatory at this point
volta uses songbirds and zimmer
Volta place his trust on Iguana and died for it.
The Redguns are incompetent fucking retards who deserve to be buckbroken by based Arquebus.
>based Arquebus
wrong
redguns are based, but bluepilled
arquebus is cringe, but redpilled
>backstab
You are an independent.
Still allied with redguns for that mission, though. If you change sides mid-mission, that is a solid backstab for me.
What about prisoner rescue and the other new mission from the RLF?
There is no backstab because backstab implies loyalty. If you don't want your merc to turn on you, you have to outbid your opponents.
FUCK VOLTA AND HIS FUCKING WHEELCHAIR
Just stun lock him and PileDrive his ass

Help how do I fight these guys in the hacking mission? I can't seem to find a way down there
Go to that room with the lava spewing out of the pipes then go in through the one that doesn't have lava coming from it. Do that in the mission where you first explore the grid too. In that mission, the lava one has some data too.
theres a tube dropping molten lava or whatever
theres another tube besides it and you can go in it
In the original first version of the mission, you find the debt chad there instead
quickmatch when?

How do you get laser handguns?
One of the training missions gives you the right hand one and you can buy the other from the shop
Rusty going down after thinking he is done fighting broke my heart buds
Remember to kick zimmermorons from your lobbies
If you're playing a missile boat, dual zimmfags, or dual stun guns I will kick you. That shit is anti-fun.
So PCA doesn't use ACs their equivalent are HC and LCs correct?
Yes. Why use tech from a foreign client that might use that info to destroy you?
What do those acronyms stand for?
Hardcore and Lesbian Core?
MTs? Mini Transformers?
light and heavy cavalry
Light and Heavy Cavalry
Planetary Closure Administration
Muscle Tracer

How much was ninebreaker anyway? $30?
Worst version of master of arena

There's nothing else left anon, we can only kick Iguazu's ass so many times just for fun before desiring an actual challenge.
>Decide to try the Pulse Greatshield, (Scutum I think?)
>Ok so I probably want a Minigun with this for that juicy sustain yeah?
>Takes me about five times as long to kill a mediocre AC mid sortie and even died once, threw him in the dumpster with my dual laspistol lightweight next try
>Well maybe it's at least good against bosses, since you need to burst fire the minigun against ACs and you can just M1 hold against big enemies
>Its not
Who could have foreseen that taking reduced damage and being slow<taking NO damage and being fast.
No moron shoulder shield are useless if you even see the animation you deflect projectiles and still take damage
The "parry" shield works pretty well but requires a bit of skill to use. Going unga bunga with 2xZimms + 2xSongs is just much simpler.
>devs inserting their fetishes into the game
I didn't know they're into cripples now.
Fire and ash is a fetish? No wonder they re mind broken rent free with that shit since dork souls 3
The incredibly well preserved granny was someone's fetish.
What's the criteria for an S-Rank? Seems inconsistent.
speed
Speed, violence and momentum
Speed, repair cost, ammo cost. Sometimes there are special requirements like "kill the combat log holder/s" or "keep the defence target above X amount of HP".
I have all missions S-ranked so you can ask specifics.
>double railgun
>double carla missiles
>spend the entire match at a distance and have people wonder why they are are getting staggered to hell.
Is this what a boat missile feels like?

Your boat game is weak.
Bruh no one expects the stagger damage the railguns do.

light biped/chickenlegs bad
reverse zims on tetrapod good
>Zims
I think that's all I needed to know.
Yes, lights are bad in close quarters slapfests. You don't have to play this way.
>light biped/chickenlegs bad
I feel like the Souls-style PVP retardation on YouTube is providing a smokescreen for the actually good parts and play styles. It feels like when a new fighting games comes out and everyone thinks the grappler is broken.
huge gay attention whore who is always wrong
>those builds
Ewww
I mean its common sense
>pick light build
>pick close range weapons
>run up to heavy guy with way more stability than you
>he shoots you then kicks you, you lose
>surprise pikachu face
they should have been jumping away and kiting with missile spam and chip damage from main weapons, not trying to stabilility break or melee weapon insta win tactics
Your best bet is to play like
mentions and use your agility for ranged evasion. They actually do well against other tetrapod missileboats because you can more easily dodge the missiles with your light weight and high boost, but tetras are still the best in general for being flexible. In 3v3s light builds are fun in the city and xylem.

for PS5, might take a couple days though I spend way too long tweaking and re-doing things
i understand anon, my first decal took a week. also on ps5 which i will post momentarily. Whats the easiest way to get an image off the ps5 and onto this board btw
I just use a usb stick since my PS5 is right next to my PC. Some people also use Twitter if you have a linked account, upload to twitter then download to your PC.
Come back when she has direct access to my glands.
Nah
>...Raven.
>I... think you should wait for another hour before responding.

>died TWICE to the fucking tutorial boss
Holy shit. Soulsbornekiro really IS babbymode compared to this. I don't know if I can do it Gankerros...
you can literally beat him with your eyes closed in 30 seconds by just pressing assault boost then 2 swings of the sword, land and repeat
Just boost up close and sword its face when you have EN to spare and shoot from below when you don't.
I have yet to build a single quad mech.
What's a good theme/paintjob to go for when I make one?
Insect theme is a no-brainer
>feel like Ayre is literally impossible with my build
>no real burst damage outside of assault armor, just basic missiles and two laser rifles, can’t get stun when her shields are down
>remember the hard lock exists, have literally never used the entire game
>beat her in three tries, second try was a double KO
I’m actually astonished at how insane it is, it actually keeps up with her *teleports behind you* horseshit
Assault boost into quick turn, anon. You can do it without hard lock.
Quick turn has dumb restrictions on when the input goes through so unspec’d out of it immediately. The bigger deal wasn’t the *teleports behind you* it was when you duck under the sword swings and you *teleports behind her* the hard lock makes it so no shots are missed
You will get your shit kicked in. That's part of the fun.
You'll just end picking a busted weapon and steamrolling every boss
He's way easier than the Sentry or Genichiro.
Only his big missiles are dangeros in terms of damage.
But with assault boost they can't hit you.
ppl have problems because they just press A to slowly float up to him and melee, or worse they try to hide around the buildings and slowly chip him down with ranged shit
Laser rifles charge dude.
Hard lock limits evasive movements because of the way it centers on the enemy AC; you’ll have to break lock to avoid things like the Walter blade charge
>buckler has no parry mechanics
Such a shame, I wanted to parry an AC's kick and pile bunker it in the dick
It does though. You don't flinch with proper timing and can counter immediately.
I mean guardbreaking the enemy on a succesfull parry. Like Souls.

>the girl pilot that screams for Snail to save her

I wish i had a dad
you will get one when fromslop learns how to have actual stories and characters
this game is a 6, the total lack of stories and characters if fucking shitcunt, so goddamn soulless, only the gameplay is good, and you get 5 minutes of it before you are assaulted by more fucking audio logs. FUCK YOU FROMSOFT
Pitiful dog. I feel sorry for you, I really do.
Is the damage increase to laser weapons worth using the VE generators?
yes
It's pretty massive. MING TANG to VE-20B is about a 30% damage increase.
Was curious about this so I got the numbers.

VE-20B, the 150 one is a pretty hefty damage increase but you might have trouble actually fitting all your energy on it. It's a quite a bit heavier but VE-20C is still a pretty high damage increase and has more than enough energy for an all energy loadout.
>Never played AC but I like From and people seem to be enjoying this
>Just got it
>Have spent the last half hour dying to the fucking helicopter on the first mission
The attacks that really matter have a warning chime.
Also go up and hit it with your sword.
dont bother exerting yourself to beat it, there is no mystery to uncover or story to enjoy nor characters to love. This game is nothing
Missiles have trouble locking on to you if you stay close
Fun fact, you can land on the missle pod of the heli and melee it for 2-3 times before it decides to do a big U turn and you slide off.
Assault boost up to it, 2x sword swings and missiles to the faxe. When you get the warning beep, boost. Rifle to keep the stagger up
Copter going beyond the wall is a valid point. Otherwise, just use building as cover, learn to boost towards the copter and use your sword.
1. Hard Lock
2. Assault Boost
3. Melee x2
4. Shoot ranged weapons while falling down
5. Recharge energy and repeat
youll be fine, everyone died to that fucker multiple times before they got it
Dodge missiles by staying airborn as much as you can manage.
If you're both in sights of each other and he's gunning you down you're not dodgerolling it
The game is completely busted have fun
I really like using this build for NG+. Vvc-760PR is really good, though it's charge shot it pretty useless. Also do screenshots not work with this game or is that just proton?
I like the charged shot against single targets when I have the height advantage on them. On the ground however, it's incredibly likely that one of your three blasts will just eat dirt immediately.
WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO AAAAAAAA
Kill some grunts?
I thought to get S ranks you aren't supposed to spend ammo or get hit
You need more points in some cases, or so I've heard.
You're killing the RLF officer in the tetrapod right? Killing mini-boss enemies gives you enough 'points' to not only offset ammo/damage costs but are worth enough to boost you from A to S.
guess now I know fuck
For future S rank attempts if you keep hitting A rank it usually means there is a mini-boss enemy (or several) you need to kill as well.
>replaying every mission to get an S rank
to what end?
because it's a fun thing you can do
you forgot the /s
Donating your semen to ALLMIND

be faster
kill the BAWS mech thing
Rank is determined by speed + money gained. If you just run past everything and get no bonus money you usually will only get A. In some cases i think illing the optional AC or BAWS things are required to get S
>can't equip 2 triple laser cannons on bipedal AC with best laser gen without looking like a fat heavy gay

It's over
>"RAVEN, I'M DETECTING ANOTHER AC!"
Loved that it's not based on you beating one of the other ACs, it's just a fucking timer, so you can absolutely get shitstomped in the 3v1 if you don't kill the other two quick.
>Look at this doood with his mind waifu
>Goofy ass motherfucker
>Lemme show you my 2 personal hoes homie!
r8 the new build
Needs at least one kinetic or explosive weapon - Also try not to symmetry your weapons it fucks with you later
SHINY
AND CHROME
I named it Zenn-La
The LC in corporate forces is a motherfucker. Some charged enemy attacks in this game come out so fast that I don't know if I should be dodging faster, or in a different direction, or what. It's like instant. Maybe I have to stick close to this guy
I tried to make a energy weapon build and I'm tickling this guy with a feather, still can't dodge his laser despite the warning sound. Am I doomed to fall back on zimmermans every fucking time? I'm a shitter
I fucking hate this gay. Bro . You seethe because I SPARED YOU? I've never been so fucking mad and annoyed in a game.
>RLF cuts your pay you because you failed to protect the Strider
>Walter pays you out of his own pocket instead
This entire game is filled with little things like this. Also, feels good to have gotten the S-rank so I'll never have to touch this mission again.
To be fair, Walter was shitting his own pant when he saw the institute bots and knew how extremely dangerous they are.
Why are you black?

>Augmented human C4-621, Callsign: Raven.
>ALLMIND appreciates your support.
>We require a rare artifact known as: "The D."
>This item is essential to ALLMIND's continuing growth and development.
>Please dispatch to the following coordinates. Independent mercenary Kate Markson will meet you there.

The D is the delta, the triangle.
It occupies the same space as N.
Sex with al-I mean Kate Markson
God i want her to speak to me strictly about business while she's acting smug.
>No Nine-Ball in AC6
But why?
Did you beat ng++?
Yeah I beat it a couple hours ago, where did I miss the reference?
The entire iguazu last boss setup is the 9ball homage, just an ai replicating a human mind and has a grudge against you. Obviously they arent going to literally call him 9ball but the callback is there.
Man, the amount of alternative dialogues in the game depending on what you do is great

>jump on the PCA ship before Walter tells you to
>good idea 621, taking out the bridge is the way to go
I don't understand why is Carla attacking me when she knows Walter is my handler
If you can't beat her mechs then you can't do the jobs they're expecting you to.
Ayre is the one who sent you so she has no idea why you're up in her shit
I don't think she figured it out until the end. The whole thing could've been avoided if Walter just said "hey, let my pilot through" but Ayre was the one that sent you that way, not him. I guess Walter didn't realize you were going through her territory or something, I don't know. Either that or she was testing you to see if you were worthy and not a shit pilot.
Maybe just testing you. And honestly probably wondering why YOU are attacking HER since she probably knows Walter didn't authorize the mission but doesn't know about Ayre's shenanigans.
walter didn't send you there, so she just thought you were some random tourist. once you started wiping the floor with her shit, she probably started to put two and two together, but didn't want to just take all the damage you caused lying down, carla tends to take stuff personally
eventually it gets out of hand and she realizes it's just not worth it
Holy fuck.

Is there any way to make missile spam work for actual missions? Feels like any fast enemy will permadodge every fucking missile I launch.
>Is there any way to make missile spam work for actual missions?
?
They eat at bosses with ease
Yeah they are great against slower targets, but fast enemies, and bosses like Ibis will dodge every fucking one.
I brought Full Course to the defend strider mission after an anon here said missiles absolutely shred the wheels.
Easy peasy s-rank.
Bring a lot of missiles.
Make sure that at least one of your missile dispensers is capable of multi-lock.
Bring more of them and don't fire all of them at once.
Okay, but where's e-boi Ayre
I want to be a close range melee fag but I'm also a light build, is this contradictory?
No, why would it be? Lights are good for melee and stagger give you an opening for it.
This is my first Armored Core game and everyone seems to be meming that light mechs are bad because dodge isn't great or some shit.
Dodge has no iframes, meaning it’s much more difficult to play evasive
In that case should I utilize pulse shielding?
Assault armor wrecks pulse armor and assault boost already reduces stagger taken.
AB does not reduce stagger enough to save light weights from exploding or even avoiding aspertif/song rounds
Nope, shields get popped easily. Oh, and wheelchairs are faster, have far more AP, and carry big ass cannons that can nearly or will 1 shot you.
>Are faster
Is this a design oversight?
Probably, apparently wheelchairs move even faster than what the stat pages indicate
Design oversight is having AP scale in pvp matches.
This is the first I've heard of this, I played the whole game fine with light mechs.
We’re talking pvp. And outside of dual zims, lightweights can’t even touch wheelchair,
Use your superior speed to close the gap. Just watch out if the target has assault armor, you can counter it with your own.
>The you already won team comp.
The amount of LOADER 4s is disgusting. Maybe From should've made the AC NAME more visible.
Nice LOADER 4 gay
Won with top points. No one expects the stagger damage that I do. I had zim fags chasing me but cant handle the stagger damage that I dish out.
>that guy that made a unique emblem to try and recreate the Elden Ring rune things
>the mecha is simply colours but looks cool
>still loader 4
Do they just like, rename the mecha in the AC data and then forget to load in the data before going in?
They might not even be aware of AC naming considering you only see it rarely and the assembly for some reason makes the name display super transparent that it may as well not be displayed.

so Coral is intelligent energy-based life? or possibly able to conduct human brainwaves as if alive?
and you can fucking smoke it?
Coral is human and consumes fried human brains
Thats why the Fires if Raven is actually the good end despite what Ayrefag chuds keep spamming
If you don't burn the coral then it will completely kill all humanity in the universe
Fires of Raven is the good end, because it is the end where you don't betray/kill/disappoint Walter and Carla to help a voice in your head/people who tried to kill you for no reason.
What? Carla tried to kill you for no reason. Ayre only tries to kill you because you try to genocide both her race and the native humans of Rubicon.
>Carla tried to kill you for no reason
Is this a falseflag
Replay the Infiltrate Grid 086 mission, Tourist.
I'm gonna infiltrate your backyard and call you a criminal if you try to stop me
Fuck no. I've redone it so many times trying to find that one measly battle log that's still missing and cannot find it anywhere.
Got some nice mech parts from chests though.
You're probably missing a set of MTs at the far corner of the map.
Carla tried to kill you, because you barged into her home guns blazing and started killing her dudes.
My only regret is MAD STOOMP.
Watch Eureka Seven
>and you can fucking smoke it?
yes, and daddy RLF smoked so much of it he made Contact with a sentient wave of coral that wanted to be his loving and supportive alien wife. no wonder they're wanting to keep the corps away from it
See
>Swarm intelligence similar to a nascent hivemind.

At least Mantis could do cool tricks with his weapon. Iguazu is more like Fox
I'm on chapter 4 now and I feel like I'm doing it wrong. I'm just UNGA BUNGAing my way through everything with rockets and the occasional punch/pile bunker. I feel like I should be learning to dodge better but my missile magnet AC seems to get by after a few attempts.
Jupiter is my go-to but I've gotten good use out of all four builds. Missile spam is fun as hell.

>that chapter 4 boss fight, cutscene

HOLY KVNO
Honestly, I miss the old camera angle. You got a better look at your mech that way.
Is there a consistent way to dodge Ibis's slashes or is the whole fight just a DPS check?
I've had several attempts that were going well, then it'll fly above me so that the camera fucks up and I'll get stunned by the first slash and eat the next one/two.
She tracks your strafe. Hop in the opposite direction
Surely you don't really believe they just put undodgeable attacks in the fight
the slashes anticipate your movement. if you keep boosting in one direction, the next one will account for this and get you. you need to boost in opposite directions for each slash.
most of its bigger attacks work like this, you have to bait out the attack by moving one way, then boost the opposite way after it fires
left right left if your booster is quick enough
Ibis anticipates your dodge. I found the the most consistent way to dodge them was to dodge straight back and strafe out of the way. Alternatively, you could try dodging forward at the last second to go under them but you'll probably eat one. Keep in mind that my boost speed was 350 when I did this.
>watched streamer die for 4 (four) hours to Michigan
>finally kills him with 0 repair and 1 hp from terminal armor

>losing steam to finish ng++
Bros.... I've been trying different builds but they all feel so samey....and when they aren't they aren't as satisfying as LASER LANCE PILE BUNKER COMBO.
Anyone got a good laser spam build?
karasawa is very fun to spam. The plasma back launchers are fun as well especially when combined with running two of the light laser rifles.
And the ammo makes spamming anything but the full charge impossible for all but the shortest missions.
>fetch quest weapon
Groannnn
is there a single mission giver in this game that isn't just using ol' 621? you can't be serious...

kino including Ayre starting to realize how not on the level Walter is
I did the Enforcers mission instead. I feel I made a poor choice there.
>finally finish ng++
>realize ive gone for the Cataphrac mission the three times
huh
>Carla

I didn't realise there was lock on until the final boss of my 2nd playthough
Lock on is perhaps too strong for the game.
That’s besides my point

Isn't that weird-ass gimp suit we see in the trailers just showing the fucked-up augmentation process?
People have latched onto it in fanart for some reason
Personally I think pic related is probably what he'd look like
I thought that was just keeping our bodies in stasis/stable condition.
More so when Iguazu is as C4 and he is just dude. Not to discard that dismembered pieces of meat as pilots are a thing tho
>I think a lot of anons are more attached to "physically mangled, emotionally deadened walking corpse, who's essentially fused to an AC, and can barely even function outside of it
The only "anons" attached to that are the fucking trannies that keep raiding ac threads
>physically mangled, emotionally deadened walking corpse, who's essentially fused to an AC, and can barely even function outside of it
bruh?
No. He's only shrink wrapped for the re-entry into Rubicon.
You people are retarded.
>being far removed from your Ace Combat protags of badass ace luxury in favor of someone who is in such a shitty situation that they're always the scrappy, fucked up underdog, at least
That stops right after climbing the wall. Everyone is singing your praises after that and even Walter starts warming up to you.
Yes but it's still more fun to imagine 621 as a cripple.
Is it best to wait till after ng++ is done to go for s ranks?
If you wanna break up the monotony of running through the story, sure. But you will eventually have to stop doing S-ranks and complete the story which could kill your momentum.
Yes because you can't S rank everything until you beat NG++ anyway.
>Iguazu is such a bitch that on NG+ he doesn't even confront you himself but sends an assassin.
You've literally kicked his ass like two or three times, it's no wonder honestly
Most accurate depiction(s)
Honestly I don't even think a full pilot suited 621 is on the table given the Chapter 5 start seeming to make them have to crawl for what little you see, but who knows? Iguazu is gen-4 and he can eject like a moron repeatedly, yet every defeat we take is treated as death.
>crawl
Those sewers are big enough that an AC fits inside them and still has a room to jump.
Maybe you have a point, the perspective is all over the fucking place. If we take this sight of junkbot as 621's direct perspective without a weird zoom on top, 621 is fucking massive.
He's laying on the ground there and cranes his neck u to look at the mech.
Thing is these machines are like 10 meters tall. Those tiny helicopters you destroy throughout the game are so tiny because ACs are fuckhuge by comparison, and the game world is actually modeled with this to scale. So I figure 621 is zooming in or raised up on something in that scene.
That's fine. The cutscene starts with you laying on your side.
Have you not actually played the game?
>t.ranny
621 is not a cripple. Get over it. Your head canon isn't real.
I know he isn't. You just underwent attempted re-education when the cutscene starts that is why you are on your side.
You really didn't play the game did you shitposter?
You can also see 621 leave and enter the AC in the hangar whenever you enter and close the assembly menu.
Finally beat Candlering in the Eliminate PCA Enforcement Squad mission. Got lucky and managed to corner him in a valley so my charged pile bunker wouldn't miss but I'll take it.
>Walter and Carla die off-screen in true route
fucking brutal.
I felt like such a dick because Walter realized you betrayed him there while Carla thinks maybe you're alive but didn't betray them.
How exactly do you undo 621 surgery lmao?
Pull out the brain and run it under the tap. There, no Coral.
Suck out color and put normal blood in instead.
Remove usb ports and stitch up leftover holes
With money, the credits are all yours 621

It's missing that one dialogue that nearly mirrors Pixy
>Looks like we both still got what it takes
>Now we find out who's number 1
While Rusty says
>You always did perform better under pressure, buddy.
It's criminal how well that fits.
AC6 really needed a better soundtrack
Only Walter's and Ayre's boss fight themes were any good.
Why can't we save Maeterlinck bros
Because Snail sent her to die to (You)
>Snail
I enjoyed murdering Snail in all the routes I could
>despite all the money and effort he put into his augmentations and top of the line AC, he is only the number 2 to a pure human in a budget machine
>Arquebus mission for chasing out the rest of the PCA
>get to listen to comms banter the entire mission
>Freud is done first and shittalks the others/points out flaws in the enemy pilot's movements
This is why all Fromsoft needs to do is make gundam models and they could make a gundam game in like a year.
The Coral Release gotta be littered with the blood of dead AC pilots.
>Too shit to beat the arena with a mech
>Try a tank and it hard - counters seemingly everyone in there
>Now I feel like I'm cheating
There's no middle ground here.
Idiot.
Care to elaborate, or are you just salty about something?
You're probably 13 or a loser.
So you're just having a shit day and want a fight/to upset someone. Got it, I'll just be ignoring any further outbursts from you, then. Hope whatever is making you this childish gets better soon, anon.
You're so fucking weird.
imagine not being able to beat arenas
kys right now, iguana 5
Snail DOES sound a bit more likeable in Japanese. He's snobby englishman in english but he at the very least uses polite keigo in Japanese while looking down at you.
I just did the retrieve combat logs mission pretty much perfectly and only got an a rank, did i just spend too much ammo or something?
How many did you get and did you kill the AC?
Does Yizi only show up if you collect all logs?
She always shows up at the second log in the pit
She is triggered by touching the log in the pit. The mission ends automatically when you get all the logs.
Wait are there more than 7? i thought i completely cleared the map
There are 8
Im not having fun
>Kill Ortus
>"I WON'T STOP"
>Back at half
god that one mission is incredible
ORE NO MADDO SUTOMPU
Funny moment
>Usually have LB charged laser shotgun held down during fighting
>Fighting the stealth mission AC
>He tells me to stop
>gives me the option to accept or refuse his offer
>Being curious if this is ng+ stuff I accept
>As soon as I accept my shotgun unloads on him
>Have to continue fighting
>That comment ayre says
Holy fuck
It's a mercy.
Swinburne would just get lobotomized if you spared him.
How so. I thought only Arquebus re educates People
And who do you think Swinburne is working for?
>Reeducation, prison in the sewer, throwing people in the factory
Arquebus is truly a horror show of a corporation while pretending to be professional and courteous
Somehow even more soulless than Balam and Dafeng
>More soulless than the military LARPers
It's impressive really
Don't forget, Dafeng is fucking CHINESE.
What is the factory?
It is not NG+(As you can do it in base) but there is extra content if you don't ice him
Any fellow edgelords wanna help me out? How should I have the text at the bottom, is "Dawn is the enemy" too wordy? Should I just have "enemy", or some other phrase about fearing the sun?
Apocalypse Now
Dant- i mean Denj- SIX TWO ONE, for the love of god take your meds.
>If 621 dies after killing Pater, Hawkins goes "it should have been me"
>If 621 dies after killing Hawkins, Pater just goes "V.V Pater, awesome"
>He even gets to be V.III Pater if you die after O'Keefe
What a piece of shit
Pater doesn't die during the ambush mission.
He shows up in the prison brake
Play the mission again and listen closer next time you spaz. Pater isn't celebrating his partner's death at all. The dude is panicking and on the verge of hysterics.
Dude's already identified as a sociopath in the arena.
That line more implies that he doesn't have a filter when talking to people. All it says is that his undignified way of speaking hints at a lack of empathy.
Pater very clearly is in over his head as both V.V. and V.III. and the promotion celebration is coping mechanism
Especially in the LC fight. Guy sounds like he's legitimately pissing himself in that one and trying to cope.
>9 player losers rotate lobby
>check builds before game starts
>7/9 players are using full missile builds
>mfw
Does Flatwell join Rusty on NG+ no matter what or only if you do the Intercept the Redguns mission?
how do I play with a ps4 controller if I pirated it?
