I was hearing this was one of the hardest S ranks, but I did it first try with the nightfall preset since I learned that feature exists. You guys have to tell me why this is hard because I am genuinely curious to how you guys approached this mission.
I'm really not pretending, when I first did the mission I didn't have any problems (though I'll admit, I got lucky by having made a melee focused build around the start of the chapter) and when I replayed it, I used all 3 repair kits by the end and still got the S rank. You guys are using assault armors to kill hordes of enemies right? Because you can, it's super effective.
>equip missiles >hold down multi-lock >??? >profit
everyone who cries about that level being hard is a massive fucking retard who was probably too stupid to unequip their songbirds or needle cannons for a single mission
I'm not in front of a console right now, but every time I went to AC Data is was empty, you telling me all sorts of goodies were just tucked away underneath if I had just pressed a few buttons?
>AC Data >RB like three times >There's all the Arena presets you've killed
Nightfall is NG+
Arena Presets. WHAT?
AC Desing > AC Data > go to the last TAB which is PRESET.
I just tried and holy crap, this has been here all along? Now I can do my Sulla cosplay.
What else is AC Data hiding? What is User 1 and User 2 and the like? Why doesn't the game tell you this?
again, if you dodge before it actually fires, it calculates your velocity and adjusts its firing for your dodge extremely quickly
you have to give it space and dodge after it fires
That's literally every laser enemy in the game, retard, you should know that by that point. You dodge right before they fire and you're good. You dodge too early, they punish you. Simple as. And it's not like Ibis will have time to fire enough lasers to take you to 0 HP if you're not a shitter anyway.
dual flamethrowers
dual stun needles
its how i made it a breeze
Use the medium Arquebus laser rifle in one hand. It will kill every MT in one shot from any range, and you will kill the MTs faster than they can spawn waves in, and make your 3 other weapons focused around countering Michigan.
My main combat build is a heavy tank with dual chainguns and songbirds. Meta, I know, but ammo hungry. I do have a light build I'll try to tune to your recommendation.
Nah, just change on chaingun to the laser rifle and use it exclusively for the MTs. People are seriously sleeping on the energy weapons.
Also, kill the helicopters that drop in ASAP, make them your priority. Killing them saves you from dealing with 4 extra shield MTs.
The PSP doesn't have as many buttons so when I tried them, I didn't like them no matter how I rebound everything. But they do have extra parts, but that's about it.
I don't understand why the RLF trusts us when we neutralized one of their strider
Tired playing AC1 but gave up after 17 missions, the framerate is constantly at 20fps and even less during some fights
Apparently that's the case for all psx titles so I'll jump to AC2 up to Verdict Day
Hopefully it'll take me quite the time and we'll have news about AC 6 dlc then
>I don't understand why the RLF trusts us when we neutralized one of their strider
They're desperate and there aren't that many people taking up their request. They also notice you destroying other corps as well.
When you're stuck on a mission trying to unlock S rank remember that some builds can trivialize a part that was breaking your teeth two minutes ago. I'm not talking about just going Zimmer/songbirds combo. There's more flexibility to the game.
I was stuck on the escort the mining ship and went double flamethrowers. I then got stuck on the obstruct the mandatory inspection because I was running full missiles and PCA guys not only dodge all the time but also fire flares to disable missile tracking so I went full lasers.
It feels great breaking down the game by switching for the adequate tool depending on the task. It's way more interesting than just going needles/songbird/Zimmer.
>It feels great breaking down the game by switching for the adequate tool depending on the task.
Meanwhile in reality it's not needed and most missions are easily S ranked with basic bitch weapons.
I might just finish 2nd and third gen now and leave s ranking this to the way side until DLC or something.
I'm still behind on 4's s-ranks and hard modes
I wish AC6 had more dumbass joke ACs in the arena. Pretty much everyone besides Invincible Rummy is pretty straightforward character you actually meet in the story.
I already have. Kinda disappointing there's not arm weapons or more leg parts that aren't just bipeds. I use to use parts that closely resemble a madcat.
Stun needle will be one of the first weapons to receive a nerf
The speed of the projectile, the time to reload and the absurd amount of stagger damage it does is criminal
bros im new to the game, i like high speeds and mobility, i dont care about meta. tell me whats fun i am too adhd brained to go through each weapon trying them all. i just finished chapter 2, balteus a shit i just made sure to always stagger him a second time before he gets those energy shields back and he was a joke
The first energy shotgun is incredibly light and fun. I recommend it with the whip to stun enemies consistently, and hit them with the charge energy shotgun blast.
I used basho arms for max melee dmg and thrusters with big melee attack boost. the first couple hits with a charged attack stun them and do high stagger damage. so the best thing is to get them close to full stagger, then get in close and hit them with a charge attack. the first couple hits will stun then lead into a stagger, and the rest of the hits including the big hit at the end will keep them stunlocked bc of the stagger and do absurd damage. landing this combo successfully is like 15k+ damage
I'm sure it comes up more in NG+, but Iguazu's problem with me is kind of pathetic. First time we spoke since that first field trip was during the Ice Worm hunt and the next time I see him, he's trying to kill me out of nowhere.
Independent mercenary Kate Markson is so cool and sexually attractive. Don't you think that she and Augmented Human C4-621 Callsign: Raven would make a very cute couple?
This Kate person just randomly sent me a pic of herself and Ayre saw it and now she's mad. I told her I don't even know who this bitch is but she doesn't believe me. What do I do lads, I think Ayre might start screeching in my ears the next mission to fuck me over
yeah what was up with that. it would have been awesome if she asked some more personal questions there, like "how do you feel about risking your life out there" or being self conscious about being a voice in 621's head. the story is really fun and i just want so much more of it, i am craving more content mang
I agree, she only told me to take my time after I had found the data and combat logs, so I thought there was more to do or hear. But no, I ran around for a half hour and nothing.
>ALLMIND exists for ALL mercenaries >first time players thought it just a slogan >after they finish NG++ >SLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUT
Explain this. NOW.
Take the opportunity to get your missing combat logs, so you'll get the rest of them while doing your ng++. Also so that you'll think you know the missions by heart but something takes you by surprise.
In your NG++, it is mandatory to do certain tasks to progress the ++, otherwise it would just be a normal route. Here is a cheat list: Escort the Weaponized Mining Ship, Obstruct the Mandatory Inspection, Coral Export Denial, Elminate V.III. You must also finish ALL Arena and ALL analysis Arena task. You should have 3 blank space in the Analysis at the start of the ++ run. This is fine. Those get unlock while you do the ++ route.

How are the stats for generators weighted? Like I'm looking at the AORTA and it has a 20% more Capacity than my current generator but less than half of the EN Recharge, a quarter less Supply Recovery but then over 50% better Post-Recovery EN Supply. How should I rate those for general performance?
The Coral Generators work differently. The idea is that they have a lot of EN (and even boost Assault Armor damage a bit) but you run them all the way empty so they have a 3 second recharge period to near-full. Trying to exhaust them only partially is asking for hurt.
The gimmick on Coral generators (there are 2) is that they have abysmal recharge but will fill almost all the way to full if you deplete them. They've got a pretty specific way you're supposed to run them.
>blow through all your EN on purpose just to be vulnerable for 3 whole seconds
Sounds really risky, why would I do this instead of equipping a regular ass generator with consistent regen like MingTang or SinTai?
Because it's the only way you can fly forever. >use coral generator to fly up high >use gun and its mid-air recoil to get some air time >generator recharges 80% in the meantime >keep flying
There's little reason to use Coral generators other than that, they definitely are not for small nimble mechs.
The gimmick on Coral generators (there are 2) is that they have abysmal recharge but will fill almost all the way to full if you deplete them. They've got a pretty specific way you're supposed to run them.
Basically just EN Load.
I end up running the VE-20C most of the time because I am constantly swapping shoulder setups.
Allows for much more variety of weaponry, and still has a 128 value for en weaponry.
Not trying to brag or anything but I beat all of the arena opponents on my first shot without really breaking a sweat. Curious to know if this was also the case with you all?
Wonder if the arena in this game is just ez pz or if I have a good build and skills to match.
I suppose it's one of the ways FROM appealed to the mainstream crowd with ACVI and honestly I'm all for it. ACVI is my Mecha power fantasy game so 621 being able to mercilessly slaughter all of them plays into that.
Arena being brainless virtual copies of AC pilot builds is kinda the point, all the actual pilots are more real.
it makes sense once you hit the ng+ and ++ content
Sorry to drop it on you but the arena is piss easy, I might had lose maybe once or twice and that's it. I don't know if it's for lore reasons but the pilots are way more dangerous on the field during a real mission.
Only some shield fag early on was annoying (not iguazu) other than that it was very easy, a lot of builds can just fuck them up such as my KRSV plasma cannon melter that simply cannot lose in an arena fight. One of the NG++ fights is severely gimped in the arena and has braindead AI to the point where it seems intentional and would make sense if it was intentional.
I just beat Attack the Watchpoint, I have two laser rifles on my shoulders and a laser pistol, the game is starting to feel too easy now so I am thinking about changing my build, are lasers really that OP or does the game get harder?
>the game is starting to feel too easy now so I am thinking about changing my build, are lasers really that OP or does the game get harder?
It get easier from here on
The race car formula 1 is better though. The guy must have spent hours making all the decals. If you didn't see it try spamming all AC threads asking for it until that anon finally decides to post it.
my ongoing mcdonalds mech, I think it is now fully realized from big mac, then bigger mac, and now biggest mac
yes i know i look like a shitter using double soups, i dont care because they look like french fries and makes the theming all that more fitting
Yeah, I have no idea.
It's a really stupid design decision even if it's something rather minor, I thought all my mechs were named for the longest time.
Because it's the 4th one?
In the story trailer 3 other loaders attack some PCA position. I assume those are loaders 1 through 3
Speaking of, I kind, do we know the loadouts for them? The main guy that ntakes out the catraphract is easy to tell (vertical missiles, gatling, a pulse blade and a shield)
Another seems to have dual verticals on the back.
Loader 1/3 are 617-618-620 who died in the trailer
As for 618 no info, my guess is that's either the Raven we get the callsign from, or Nightfall perhaps?

Sas someone on reddit make them, so yeah
Since this game has been kind of overshadowed this year, do you guys think with a bunch of sales the game will grow in sales over time? Demon's Souls didn't even hit 1 million sales for its first year or so if you remember.
It's done well, but I think it still deserves better. I can't help but feel there's just too many people that just don't get it yet, especially people completely ignoring the story or finding the dialogue ridiculous, and somehow I feel this is partly because the game is just not big enough, and there's not enough people to "explain" and create a narrative around how you are supposed to understand ACVI.
There was something similar with Demon's Souls at first, it was loved by some, but a lot of people simply didn't get it, only once the seires exploded iwth Dark Souls 1 was the "community" big enough that people through cultural osmosis kind of understood how Dark Souls worked, what the point of it is and how you are supposed to play.
I feel ACVI is in a similar situation. Not to mention that I think in a year, a lot of the balancing issues will be ironed out.
It's already on it's way to having 2 million in sales. Steam sales alone is close to a million. With how niche the genre is, I am surprised that it's successful.
The helicopter alone filter game reviewers, normies, soulfags, and youtubers, attentionwhores from going deeper in the game and refunding it. These are the same type of people that bitch about no story and want to have an ugly human faces to see and talk, nevermind they never pass baltious, at least. It certainly will get more attention from Bamco and FROM because of the sell. Regardless, those people hate this game because AC is an actual Video Game, something they hate.
That's what I mean. The point is people don't get it. Tons of people got stuck in Elden Ring or Dark Souls or Bloodborne at Gascoigne, but it was popular enough or people to "get it". There was a certain respect for the game and people tried to get into it, while with ACVI it's just "this is a stupid mech game with no story, i'm refunding it"
And yet ironically, Armored Core VI has one of the best narratives in video game history. Yes, this is a fact that I will stake my name and die upon. Fight me chumps.
I don't really like vague storytelling, it's not really my thing, it's not interesting to me personally when a game wants me to use my own imagination. I'm interested in what other people come up with not with what I come up with. Therefore, the storytelling in this game is not perfect, because NG++ and what happens there is just kept too vague. But I genuinely think it's a top tier story and easily From's best, it's not even close, it's better than even Dark Souls 1. DS1 has interesting lore and a coherent theme from start to finish, but it's never made me emotionally invested into what happens on the screen. It never made me genuinely ponder over what decision to take. The dialogue in these games are nowhere near as hard-hitting and memorable either.
This might be generalizing, but most people don't use their imagination anymore. Certainly not the younger generation for some reason. They want, no, demand they need to see everything and people talking just to "related" and follow the story.

I love it when lines of dialogue are very short but full of meaning. Like Walter saying "undo the operation ... be normal again". It tells you so much about who he is, and allows you to reflect upon what it used to be. But the ending in NG++ feels like, alright, here, finish the story yourself in your head. Come up with something to make sense of it. And sure, I could, but this is just something for me personal, maybe for my generation, but with stories I don't want to give food for my imagination. At the end of the day I'm interested in what the author came up with and to see their idea come to fruition in a piece of work. I don't like the trail of the author's true ideas cutting off.

I used to think this way but now I enjoy having open to interpretation stories. Not only can I waste time dwelling in imagination land, I can also go to the internet and read about all the fan theories.

Here, I'll give you something to chew on. Notice all the symbolism in the game with triangles and in turn, the number 3 (Rubicon 3, Allmind, Walter)? That is a reference to The Third Eye and all that it portends in the realm of mysticism. The 3rd ending of the game is meant allow these implications that the game has strewn about to come to fruition. Thus, ultimately ending with the player character (621) achieving a state of transcendence, upon a higher plane of existence. It's all very esoteric, but looking at the game as a whole, there is absolutely no other feel that would work for the 3rd ending's vision.

Don't be discouraged by the retards below. I sense some heavy implications and mysticism in fromsoft games too. Especially Bloodborne/ER. They must have done a lot of research about mythology, they're not pulling it out of their ass.
>while with ACVI it's just "this is a stupid mech game with no story, i'm refunding it"
It was shill by a soulfag, vaati. So that could be part of the problem. And again, some people just hate how there no human faces to see them talk to, but I would blame years and years of v-tubers and shitty vidya story rotting viewer's mind with that.
I'm trying to beat Ibis with two duckett handguns but am running out of ammo by phase two. Is this a skill issue or do I actually have to opt for a weapon with more ammo?
Probably the former. With how evasive Ibis is and how easily it escapes your effective range, make sure you don't just spam shots wildly.
What's the rest of your loadout? Do you have something that can actually capitalize on the stagger your Ducks create?
I'm using the Vvc-706PM plasma missile launcher on both shoulders because i have my OS tuned to max kinetic and energy damage. Should I be using something else?
Are you landing all your shots? I can't remember what recoil pistols have. Check your arms' recoil control, and pick the fcs with max close range assist I guess. And don't fire until you're real close, I don't shoot those things outside shotgun range. Then again, I never beat Ibis with them either
I do have the close range FCS, but I've been using them at medium to close range. I guess I can try to be more conservative in that regard.

Skill issue as I have beat her with two Ducketts. Gotta stay on her ass really hard the whole fight to avoid ricochet and try to stagger your shots to avoid dodging. Be agressive, use assault armor to help with stagger. What are your shoulder weapons?
Also please spoonfeed me a good karasawa build. Somebody...anybody...
have you actually seen him kill RLF? he flies up from above to join you against juggernaut and leaves midway. 1 MT log describing how fast he is but no side marked since the wreck is so down. The other time you meet him is against PCA
Seen? No, but during combat log retrieval, you find one where some RLF guy (indirectly) says he knows Rusty is undercover, and why he's killing so many RLF people, before he, too, is killed.
Did anyone else notice that thanks to Rusty, all the organizations in the game are properly represented in the Ice Worm battle. RLF, Balam, Arquebus, RAD, Overseer, Raven, Coral etc.
Depending how light you are jump over or through him when you see him wind up the swing. Realistically this should be the only part of the fight that is even remotely difficult so you should still have most of your resources if you get hit
hardlock is a dumb mechanic, the FCS system just plain sucks, and the FCS item category is borderline pointless
your camera should be hard oriented the same direction as your AC at all times, too
well now that im done with AC6, do i watch Votoms or finish Baldr's Sky? I like both but I hate how Baldr's sky first girl is best girl. i'm not liking the main girl anyways....
You betray the Red Gun. He just lost his role model G1 (if you're doing the NG++ route, you didn't kill him), and on top of all the shit is going on in MIA, his mind is basically fucked.
Stay out of Chatty's field of view with the pillars on the bottom floor, kill Carla first with close range weapons, then go after chatty. recommend assault armor for quick stagger potential.
>the grid 086 fight with Iguazu ends with me punching him to death >the Allmind fight at the end of NG++ ends with me punching Iguazu to death
Kino book end

why does carla say the word "stupider"??
maybe some see it as a valid word but you will never get respect using it! say dumber you intelectual but purposefully redneck sounding BITCH!!!!!!
i swear im not a shitter guys, i SWEAR IT
i dont wanna use the song birds! but they are just so EN efficient on my missile spam build that i cant help BUT use them!
believe me, I want to use shit like the soups, or hell even a delivery boy! but i cant do it gosh darn it! i just CANT!
I'm about to finish NG+ with a different ending. Should I go for all combat logs now before starting NG++? When I go to replay mission I see that I also have the opportunity to do missions I didn't do this time around, that will be the same for NG++ right? What happens when I finish NG++? Does it start the game again from beginning or does it go to some sort of postgame mode where I can replay all missions?
You can replay mission as long you've done it at least once in the story mode. Doing NG++ just boots you to a NG+++ and you can do it al over again in case you missed any mission in the earlier runs.
Its one of the few ways a newbies could plow through Balteus. At one point, get a better generator and it will be better. You like wing lazer, don't you?
plasma shoulder weapons are fantastic. huge blast radius and they actively spread out to cover even more ground.
aside from that laser shotguns are decent and the normal plasma rifle holds up well against bosses and MTs
people claim you can make laser rifles work but idk they just feel underwhelming
How do people feel about the Sampu burst handguns?
Most of the time I hear people talking about handguns, I think they're talking about the Viento or Ducketts
Tried them for a bit, they do great stagger damage but I felt they required a bit more finesse to use than Vientos or Ducketts since you need to hit both shots to get comparable results.
>3v3 >other team is gays using the gayest shit imaginable >"ok" >equip cancer loadout and be an even bigger gay for a round >entire enemy team immediately leaves afterwards
so they can dish it but they can't take it?
Honestly after more than halfway through NG++, The story is so damn confusing, you get backstabbed by almost all the other people, some peoples motivations or reasons to attack make no sense at all free ziyi, free dolyman, they both attack you? I just fucking saved you. avoid snail, instead of helping you take down the ship which would both benefit you at the moment because you both want the coral, he attacks you isntead flatwell, previous mission you team up to take down V.VIII and V.V, next mission he fucking backstabs you while you fight rusty carla attacks you despite connection with walter
there's others but man it's just a jumbled mess.
You either save Ziyi or attack her, not both. Dolmayan is just a crazy doser at the end of the day.
Snail is a top cunt. You shouldn't have expected less
Flatwell's deal is quite shaky, I'll give you that
Ziyi doesn't fight you in any routes where you rescue her afaik. Dolyman is a fucking looney.
Snail is a cunning bitch who thinks he's better than everyone and that you're disposable. He'd rather get rid of you early before you become a problem. Flatwell is just intervening so you don't kill Rusty.
Carla attacks you because she doesn't know who the fuck you are and she's doubling down. You went there under Ayres guidence
bro I hate from storytelling but you actually illiterate AF.
Am I remembering wrong or do you not fight Ziyi in the investigate rusty mission survey after the wall mission?
Flatwell attacks you to save Rusty, because he's his plant inside of Aquebus. I don't think he wants to kill you, necessarily, just destroy your AC and force you to eject. It seems pretty arbitrary whether someone lives or dies when you defeat them.
Like you can take Flatwell's mission to defeat Pater and Hawkins but then you find out Pater's still alive somehow if you do Jailbreak. What's the point of the mission if you're not killing him?
To take hawkins out of the picture so Pater could move up. assuming your "flatwell is a plant idea is true". Pater has always had that vibe of being a nice guy who's got a hidden agenda to to further himself as that's also a common theme amongst the vespers, each every being an obstactle to everyone in the group. I do hope they make more mission routes with dlc to explore these characters more , but i also want AC6: MOAAASLNLR4AVD. How torn i am about this.

Snail is always a gay that will hate your guts. He refuse to think someone with a lowly aug would beat his perfection.
>flatwell, previous mission you team up to take down V.VIII and V.V, next mission he fucking backstabs you while you fight rusty
He want to make sure his nephew doesn't die. He try to stop him but he always full bloodlust mode.
>carla attacks you despite connection with walter
If she doesn't know who you are, she will attack. Remember that its Ayre, not Walter, that accept the task.
The icons of the Vespers, and their AC names. People think this shit is just for decoration and not a lore piece explaining the re-education process at the camps.
[...]
anon, flatwell literally knows rusty and the one connection to the RLF, rusty is a double agent. he's the nephew and I don't know how you idiots think anything other than that
Here, I literally booted up my game to show you a record of an RLF soldier mentioning "Uncle" Flatwell, HIS CODENAME, when fighting Rusty. Yikes. I don't want to see you dummies posting in another Armored Core thread. Got it?
You people do realize that Rusty isn't actually Flatwell's nephew right? Flatwell is just referred to as "Uncle" in the Rubicon Liberation Front because he's the de facto leader with "Father" Dolmayan not in the picture.
>his nephew
Why the FUCK do so many people miss the obvious fact that Uncle is a nickname? They aren't actually related you brainless troglodyte.
anon, flatwell literally knows rusty and the one connection to the RLF, rusty is a double agent. he's the nephew and I don't know how you idiots think anything other than that
I feel like Rusty and Middle Flatwell attacking you is pretty poorly motivated if you've been helping out the RLF the entire time.
It's funny how the game is generally really good about reacting to your various actions and having alternate dialog for different scenarios, but there isn't that much you can actually do to affect what happens in the missions. I think it would've been interesting if you could've made Balam win over Arquebus, or if siding with the RLF prevented the Rusty fight, and other little branches.
rusty attacks you because arqeubus orders him to that's the only reason
flatwell shows up to stop him because he believes you can be an asset to the RLF but rusty sees you as too much of a liability because at this point you're still at the whim of the highest bidder
it's very, very well motivated

Keep in mind that Rusty is still deep undercover at this point. He got a direct order to eliminate the AC in the depths. He's not going to blow his cover for you, because he fights for Rubicon, and your intentions are not clear at that point, which he comments on during the fight.
Flatwell comes in to try and break up your fight with Rusty. When that doesn't shake out, he at least tries to back Rusty up and buy him time to get out.
Rusty is an RLF plant.
Depends on the AC and playstyle. Faster reload matters more on bipeds and less on reverse joints imo.
>I had to go pretty light to get under it for
You actually want to be closer to ideal weight. If you go way under it you get a penalty in the same way if you go way over it.
You should be able to toggle the total stats for your mech in assembly and compare it to the Booster part to see how much ideal weight is affecting QB reload time.
the OS chip system is kinda fucking retarded in that you have to pay to reset chips but ac parts and weapons are fully refundable
like what the fuck is that design philosophy? it doesnt matter a whole lot since you roll in credits at some point, but you gotta do full resets if you wanna do a lot of loadout swapping for pvp shit
super annoying
im sure you can max the upgrades out at some point and dont have to worry about it, but i am not there yet
You eventually max them out but personally as a guy that tries to design games I think it's the best everything for everyone system you can do. They should have had way more perks though but it basically gives you the best of classless and classed systems.
So are all the parts and stats really stooped solely in the regulation.bin? I kinda hoped we'd be able to mod in like, part packs and shit but it seems rather restrictive for potential.
Hey anons, you know if the game's filter censors spoilers?
I named my guy STEEL HAZE CORAL and I was wondering if maybe that's what's triggering the censor
Because otherwise not sure what would do it.
You really think that's the case?
I mean fuck, the word coral is literally a core term in the game. Why would that be censored?
Also might it result in a ban?
how the actual fuck are you supposed to beat ibis? >lightweight
work way hard to get any damage/stagger >heavyweight
can't keep up with the speed >starts shooting you before the phase 2 health bar appears
fantastic stuff
Wait for the time when it flies up in the air, unleashes a volley with funnels and then does a single sword swing and lands. It is a huge opening to land any attacks. Or create your own with sustained fire. Ibis has an absolutely pathetic stagger bar. You can avoid every single shot from phase 2 opening if you get away max distance.
I cheesed it with a heavy tank build with dual zimzams and dual stun needles. You basically have to rush it down to compensate for lack of speed (and skill), and a good close range FCS helps with blasting it close range with the stun needles.
i had 2 wuergers, a plasma canon, and the lazer lance
did it on my third try, unironically use the speedy tank treads because i think i was simply able to just out run all of the projectile spam she has from that alone
Get slow weapons with high stagger damage. When Ibis stands still for whatever reason, Assault Boost into range and unleash. Kick if you have the time to get close enough. Works for both phases.
i'd be very interested to see what a first person mod of this game could be like
i feel like the camera is just ever so slightly too close to the character, and you take about 20% of the screen space
you adjust to it, but a bit obnoxious at first
Vaati thinks there was an Erdtree before the Erdtree that the Erdtree cannibalized. He's not great at the lore thing, and that was just stolen from a post on Ganker
It's false, the games are separate self contained stories. It's the typical soulsfag reaching that will try to seek hidden meaning in the way corpses are lying around.
No. The timeline is >Last Raven: Some time before AC4, all NEXT pilots are called LINX >AC4A: Path to space opens, humans have to adjust to life on the surface, enabling ACV/VD to take place >AC6: Those that went into space, eventually, reached Rubicon
There's at least five hundred years in between these events. That Raven is NOT the ""Last Raven"".
AC6 was stated by the developers to be its own continuity. Even if From were lying or retcon this, however, shit is so separated it doesn't really matter much anyway; even if BRANCH was somehow a remnant of Last Raven shit is so divorced by so much a span of time it wouldn't matter anyway.
And AC6's datalogs still kind of act like ACs are more of a modern invention, like Snail's tests to figure out why AC manned units are still more effective than unmanned AI units.
the rule of AC as far as timelines go should be what corps are key figures in the story. Like AC and AC2 are in the same timeline because the corps or 1 going under are directly mentioned in 2. 3 to last raven is it's own timeline, and so on and so forth.
Nine Breaker did try to vaguely imply 3 onwards was after 2, but that game is so fucking wonky and barely "there" or possibly even non-canon that it doesn't really matter either way.
>the factory >in the escape mission Snail says to take you to the factory instead of re-education >leave the torso in tact
So he's butchering people and shoving their brains/mutilated bodies inside of ACs to act as the brains?
Far as the story implies, The Factory is where Snail takes particular people to be tested on with augmentations, likely fatally and where Walter was taken, before he puts such augs in himself. It's also probably co-aligned with his AI research by that same margin.
The torso of the AC is where the pilot is. He's saying to destroy your AC without killing you.
Anonymous
The factory is explicitly where humans Snail wants disposed of are sent
The rose of the AC is referred to as the Core in game
And he's researching why human pilots outperform AI pilots so I think the heavy implication here is that he's going full Sundowner
It's not seethe, moral people in general have a compulsion to teach others the truth and correct misconceptions. This compulsion can be easily exploited for the luls by malicious retards that get a kick out of pretending to be retarded.
That's not really an argument because you can learn a lot in 3 months.
besides, he's not giving you gameplay tips.
Also also, he beat Balteus without taking any damage, let's see your kill.
Yes, there's a shit ton of missiles of all kinds, some of them extremely cancerous in pvp because of how difficult they are to avoid and they are decent in storymode as well. Missiles can absolutely trivialize many of the PCA fights.
worst thing about this game is the hud
i need devs to stop fucking using white 80% opacity huds in games that are bright or have snow scapes, or goddamn fucking explosions
give me NEON GREEN
ORANGE
FUCKING PINK, ANYTHING BUT SEMI TRANSPARENT WHITE HOLY FUCK
It makes me miss the older huds, which got the idea across without being too complex unless you made them complex. Makes me wonder if THAT is moddable.
If there was one major improvement I'd make to the HUD, it'd be to have the ammo/charge/overheat meters present at all times instead of only when targeting enemies. It's kind of annoying how they tried to streamline that for functionality and in the end it just means you're having to glance off to the corner of the screen between encounters and locks to get a better idea of your supply.
doubt.jpeg
All ALLMIND needs to do is get enough Coral in one place to start a singularity and hijack an augmented human who received Coral based surgery.
She chose Iguazu so 621 is redundant and could've been left alone.
She openly states that "the two of you will become the trigger". Iguazu was an aberration precisely because he broke out of control and she permitted for the fight to occur because it didn't matter to her who was the brain, so long as one of them was remaining.
Someone told me that bipeds are more "light" mecha usually and reverse joints are more "medium", is this true? Explain the legs types to me, I don't really get it besides being able to hop/hover/drift.
>"""Kate"""
Shut up toaster.
She's my moron, as in not Iguazu's.
As mentioned before, come join the 1v1 room, keyword v and demonstrate your frankensteins monster
>1v1 room
BOOOOOOORING
How many people are in? I don't want to wait 10 minutes just to play.
So far its full with 4 people, I can make a bigger room a bit later
I dont get why youre forced to spectate and cant just fight simultaneously
GGs mcdonalds and hrtbrk anons
2 spots are free now
>he didn't beat ibis on default and no os
that looks extremely tedious and boring
>putting high heels on robots
blame ayre/allmind
No, that one's entirely on the RRI.
>try to make a loadout using my preferred weapons and AC parts made by Balam
>basically end up as a bad Michigan cosplay
>not using the old-school Balam bot with pile driver, kinetic rifle, and missiles
I wasn't paying attention, you see her again outside of this mission???
no
I was hearing this was one of the hardest S ranks, but I did it first try with the nightfall preset since I learned that feature exists. You guys have to tell me why this is hard because I am genuinely curious to how you guys approached this mission.
That's the one with Michigan and the other AC + multiple swarms of assholes?
Why do you pretend it's easy?
I'm really not pretending, when I first did the mission I didn't have any problems (though I'll admit, I got lucky by having made a melee focused build around the start of the chapter) and when I replayed it, I used all 3 repair kits by the end and still got the S rank. You guys are using assault armors to kill hordes of enemies right? Because you can, it's super effective.
>equip missiles
>hold down multi-lock
>???
>profit
everyone who cries about that level being hard is a massive fucking retard who was probably too stupid to unequip their songbirds or needle cannons for a single mission
I've been mostly looking for these missiles that look like wings for a light missile build. Haven't seen them yet, though.
I assume you mean the Soup missiles?
They're NG+
Shame. Guess the missile build must wait.
You can still get plenty of missiles in the air with literally all the other missile options.
SOUP weigh a lot and aren't multi-target. They're for AC fights, not MT fights.
>equip any chaff clearing weapon
>go to town
Flamethrower is good on this one too.
It's only an issue if you're bringing duelist setups imo.
i always found that mission super easy
>the nightfall preset since I learned that feature exists
Please tell me what this is and how I can access it.
ac data go to the right
I'm not in front of a console right now, but every time I went to AC Data is was empty, you telling me all sorts of goodies were just tucked away underneath if I had just pressed a few buttons?
also applies to
and
.
I'm booting up the console right now as I get dressed for an event cause I wanna check this out right away.
I just tried and holy crap, this has been here all along? Now I can do my Sulla cosplay.
What else is AC Data hiding? What is User 1 and User 2 and the like? Why doesn't the game tell you this?
You just gotta read. AC data lets you save ACs to quickly change between and I don't know what User does I didn't read it either.
>AC Data
>RB like three times
>There's all the Arena presets you've killed
Nightfall is NG+
Arena Presets. WHAT?
AC Desing > AC Data > go to the last TAB which is PRESET.
That escort mission is much harder.
Retards refuse to unequip their double Songbirds and equip some fucking missiles.
I did it with dual flamers and cannons on a wheelchair
You can spray it around and it just makes those smol helicopters drop
I just stayed in the tunnel and made them come to me. Fish in a barrel
>easily smash through everything during NG+
>Ibis gives me even more trouble than the first time
Ibis has absurdly blatant input read dodges even at point blank, thank fuck the final ending just skips it.
again, if you dodge before it actually fires, it calculates your velocity and adjusts its firing for your dodge extremely quickly
you have to give it space and dodge after it fires
That's literally every laser enemy in the game, retard, you should know that by that point. You dodge right before they fire and you're good. You dodge too early, they punish you. Simple as. And it's not like Ibis will have time to fire enough lasers to take you to 0 HP if you're not a shitter anyway.
Michigan and friends is giving me trouble. I keep running out of ammo before the end.
I used song birds to delete clumped up enemies.
dual flamethrowers
dual stun needles
its how i made it a breeze
this anon is right, i meant songbirds, not stun needles
Ignore these boring meta fags
You WILL play the old AC games after you S rank every mission in AC6.
why uh
why name your ac after your weakness
Because Water Hazard is an awesome name.
Hes not at hazard from water, hes a hazard to the water
Too busying making decals, I'm going to die in this garage
If I happen to raise from the dead though I'll consider it
>not WOOD
>human powered engine
huh?
There's guys on bicycles running a dynamo to generate current inside?
No, it's tracks are just a flintstones car
Going to play through Silent Line Portable after 100%ing AC3 Portable.
I hope for AC6 patches soon, the lack of parts is starkly apparent.
are the portable versions of the AC3 games good?
Once you have the controls down, sure.
They have hidden parts from AC2 along with new parts as well.
The PSP doesn't have as many buttons so when I tried them, I didn't like them no matter how I rebound everything. But they do have extra parts, but that's about it.
i already did though
>chaingun on a biped
You better not be using human+ or OP-I, you coward. Kneel like a man!
I should play more. I downloaded 4-VD but I was too preoccupied with replaying 4A to touch V/VD.
not gonna s-rank, too much pressure and trial and error for no reward
Stun needle is just in the same category of trueno, songbirds; the first real nerf will be zims and then probably speed nerf on wheelchair
after playing a very light airborne build the entire game, going up against ibis made me realize how much cancer this shit is
bros im new to the game, i like high speeds and mobility, i dont care about meta. tell me whats fun i am too adhd brained to go through each weapon trying them all. i just finished chapter 2, balteus a shit i just made sure to always stagger him a second time before he gets those energy shields back and he was a joke
The first energy shotgun is incredibly light and fun. I recommend it with the whip to stun enemies consistently, and hit them with the charge energy shotgun blast.
GUYS WHAT THE FUCK I REFUSED THE RLF'S OFFER TO ATTACK MY REDGUN BUDDIES IN NG++, NOW I'M LOCKED OUT OF EVERYTHING NG++ RELATED?????
No, but there are many quest that you need to do, and you need to finish all the analysis arena quest when those pop up.
OK so I can't do the extra NG++ Prisoner escort combat log?
I refused it and I still got the NG++ missions, you must have done something wrong.
Uh oh !!
Why would you not troll iguazu? It's more in-line with the redguns to mess with him when given the opportunity.
The new mission for NG++ should still unlock. Only thing you won't get is the prison break mission.
In my NG++ playthrough I didn't betray the Redguns in this mission but I still got the 3rd ending. You're good.
Also, this mission just feels better to me with you teaming up with the Red bros and throwing around banter while pawning the RLF scrubs GG EZ-like.
Although I will admit it is pretty funny to see Iguazu getting clowned on by Michigan if you ambush his ass.
This looks promising
Fuck
phew yeah, thanks doc
Here's sumfing da boyz botched up in da scrap shedz
I wish I could make that chainsaw work for me.
Its all about spacing and timing
And not forgetting you can hold it out while shooting with the other hand
OI GIT!
WHERZ YUR SHOULDA GUNZ?!
YA NEED MOOR DAKKA
'Ere we go 'ere we go 'ere we go
Time to smash da humies!
Independent mercenary Kate Markson is so cool and sexually attractive. Don't you think that she and Augmented Human C4-621 Callsign: Raven would make a very cute couple?
Yes I think Sulla will enjoy getting cucked by C4-621 Raven.
forgot to mention i'm a redgun
>Walter: 621, did you have a paramour before your surgery?
>Ayre: [angry coral noises]
This Kate person just randomly sent me a pic of herself and Ayre saw it and now she's mad. I told her I don't even know who this bitch is but she doesn't believe me. What do I do lads, I think Ayre might start screeching in my ears the next mission to fuck me over
Could always take her on another survey of some Rubiconian caves, that usually cheers her right up.
Ayre discovering the joys of being a merchant
not having extra dialogue for taking your time at Xylem was a huge disappointment
yeah what was up with that. it would have been awesome if she asked some more personal questions there, like "how do you feel about risking your life out there" or being self conscious about being a voice in 621's head. the story is really fun and i just want so much more of it, i am craving more content mang
Imagine if they pulled a Kojima and Ayre started asking about other games in your library
I agree, she only told me to take my time after I had found the data and combat logs, so I thought there was more to do or hear. But no, I ran around for a half hour and nothing.
Whenever I get to that point I always leave the game running while I go to jack off and fantasize that Ayre is blowing me
Wait, I wasn't the only one?
>I showed you my Arena simulations pls respond
Code for that decal?
>forgot to pick up moonlight
hehe
>Find a weapon I like
>damage sucks
>ammo pool is too small to be used on like half of the PvE levels
>usually both
bros, I'm getting demoralized
What weapon, anon? As long its not the default ASSault Rifle, it should be fine. You have like 3 other weapon slots complimenting each other.
Just stop it with the ricochets and fire when there's actually a chance to hit. Also mix in melee/shoulder weapons much more.
>ALLMIND exists for ALL mercenaries
>first time players thought it just a slogan
>after they finish NG++
>SLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUTSLUT
Explain this. NOW.
She NTRs you
more like Iguazu NTRs her
all mind is a cool logo cause it has every letter in it hehaw
You will take the emblems, augmented human 621.
Here, have another Kate as well.
cute autistic AI waifu
Game needs a path to save her from Iguazu
Just finished NG+, Fires ending made me feel bad though the missions themselves were pretty great. Anything to know before heading into NG++?
This, just accept the fucking mission or you will get locked out by at least a combat log
I see, thanks anons.
>1v1
>win
>guy immediately goes to garage and tries to copy my build
>still loses
>leaves right away
Has forcing a mirror match ever been a good strategy in any game?
Yes.
>VE-20B
Why wouldn't I use this with my lazer handguns? It turns them into murder machines!
The scaling goes up the heavier the gun is.
Fucking hell that massive DMG upgrade on heavy energy rifles
kek why even bother including the ve-20b
Its energy output is so low you can't equip anything on it.
Your core increases the max EN Load of your generator. Try the Ephemera core. Feels like it's basically required.
What about the shoulder weapons?
Are you retarded? It's all consistent increases.
How are the stats for generators weighted? Like I'm looking at the AORTA and it has a 20% more Capacity than my current generator but less than half of the EN Recharge, a quarter less Supply Recovery but then over 50% better Post-Recovery EN Supply. How should I rate those for general performance?
I think generally most expensive you have is best.
The Coral Generators work differently. The idea is that they have a lot of EN (and even boost Assault Armor damage a bit) but you run them all the way empty so they have a 3 second recharge period to near-full. Trying to exhaust them only partially is asking for hurt.
>blow through all your EN on purpose just to be vulnerable for 3 whole seconds
Sounds really risky, why would I do this instead of equipping a regular ass generator with consistent regen like MingTang or SinTai?
Because it's the only way you can fly forever.
>use coral generator to fly up high
>use gun and its mid-air recoil to get some air time
>generator recharges 80% in the meantime
>keep flying
There's little reason to use Coral generators other than that, they definitely are not for small nimble mechs.
The gimmick on Coral generators (there are 2) is that they have abysmal recharge but will fill almost all the way to full if you deplete them. They've got a pretty specific way you're supposed to run them.
Basically just EN Load.
I end up running the VE-20C most of the time because I am constantly swapping shoulder setups.
Allows for much more variety of weaponry, and still has a 128 value for en weaponry.
>ocellus
It's only for very close enemies so you're always hugging your target?
Correct, the laser pistols ricochet on anything with more armor in midrange, but can still 1-2 shot a lot of mts right at the edge of lock range.
Cool AC, bro. I might steal it and tell people its mine.
Not trying to brag or anything but I beat all of the arena opponents on my first shot without really breaking a sweat. Curious to know if this was also the case with you all?
Wonder if the arena in this game is just ez pz or if I have a good build and skills to match.
They're easy because they don't heal. Prolong fights are not ideal since that would lead to mess up and taking more damage than needed.
I suppose it's one of the ways FROM appealed to the mainstream crowd with ACVI and honestly I'm all for it. ACVI is my Mecha power fantasy game so 621 being able to mercilessly slaughter all of them plays into that.
Its mostly because its required to get the NG++ ending.
Yeah the arena is piss easy in this game
Arena being brainless virtual copies of AC pilot builds is kinda the point, all the actual pilots are more real.
it makes sense once you hit the ng+ and ++ content
Yeah, they are pretty easy
t. zimzam users
I just went to do the arena fights when they were unlocked without changing my build. They were piss easy.
Say that to my face and not online and see what happens
Arena fights in AC games are never hard besides maybe a few outliers
Fuck CUBE
>the 3 and SL post-game fuckers that are hopped up on full OP-INTENSIFY
PP arena fights are bullshit near the end when every AC build is rocking moonlight/Karasawa parts with H+
One of the NG++ fights is severely gimped in the arena and has braindead AI to the point where it seems intentional and would make sense if it was intentional.
they don't have H+ bullshit so the A/S ranks are inherently easier but I'd also say that many of their builds are kinda shit.
what is an ideal attitude stability to be around? im about 1760 right now but i get staggered the fuck out online if i get clipped at all
I just beat Attack the Watchpoint, I have two laser rifles on my shoulders and a laser pistol, the game is starting to feel too easy now so I am thinking about changing my build, are lasers really that OP or does the game get harder?
>the game is starting to feel too easy now so I am thinking about changing my build, are lasers really that OP or does the game get harder?
It get easier from here on
Lasers are pretty good, but you'll feel the burn in a bit
I see you guys have taken the gundam pill.
HAHAHA... YES!
>CRT Chad
I kneel
Ayre is cute
>victory on a CRT
HOLY KINO
Actually that is G Gundam
Oh you're right, that's shining gundam.
Ok gundambros, I see that the Victory gunpla kit looks really cool but I'm hearing that this kit is very flimsy. Is it worth it?
Balteus is the hardest boss in the game for most people, but don't worry, there's still a whole bunch of filters ahead.
post your AC
I would but people yell at me when I post phone pictures. Too lazy to upload them from my lamestation 4
just put your phone camera in pro mode, no one will notice
Alright then. He used to be black but I'm trying with the main parts in white now.
Damn. Nice color combos and decals/patterns
Thanks but it's just a bunch of straight lines with fishnets on the legs. Too lazy to make complicated decals.
agreed with other anon this is one of my favorite ACs ive seen and ive been browsing a shit ton of AC threads
The race car formula 1 is better though. The guy must have spent hours making all the decals. If you didn't see it try spamming all AC threads asking for it until that anon finally decides to post it.
Nevermind I saved it.
I also have one anime AC hold on.
Also mine is an inferior version inspired by this one.
痛戦車
pretty cool 7/10
impressive and kawaii 8/10
these guys need to think about aesthetics more when theyre building. Imagine what they could do with an aesthete's eye and all that autism
Finally got around making reverse joint AC to finish the pack. I call it Gentle Persuasion
why is your emblem a poo on a stick inside a lamp?
>he hasn't watched Kaiji
You mean obscure HIT ANIME KAIJI???? who the fuck are you superheroeyepatchwolf?
???
???? Kimi no na wa????
Because of my lack of artistic talent mostly
was it supposed to be poo?
ive seen some of it but i dont get the reference
Excuse the faggy video title
Shut the fuck up sniper wolt
>that emblem
Listen, I'll fix it later
TOMMOROW I'LL
This is Dancer Tomorrow.
It looks neat.
What is it today?
Today it is the one who illuminates the graves of the enemy with the brilliance of its lasersong. It is the one who is the Dancer Tomorrow.
my ongoing mcdonalds mech, I think it is now fully realized from big mac, then bigger mac, and now biggest mac
yes i know i look like a shitter using double soups, i dont care because they look like french fries and makes the theming all that more fitting
>Those french fry missles
kek nice anon. Reminds me of those ancap shitposts
I honestly thought it was a E-102 Gamma
big mac has been through a lot, ez mistake
Cute femmecha
Elcano parts just look really fucking cool, finished the game with a needle ver. of this
what types of weapons are best for highly mobile targets
A mission is only easy if you can steamroll it with anything.
G13 SOUND OFF
Yep, it's great. I really like what you've accomplished here.
thanks bro, now hopefully i can leave this damn garage before i starve
Any general tips/pointers for S-ranking all the misserinos? Any particular ones I should be extra careful for so as to not get filtered?
dont get hit as often, rush, dont use ammo as much
Sorry chuds, but we already won this fight.
What's with "Loader 4" anyway? Why is it the default name?
It's the designated "I don't give a shit, but I WILL fuck you up pronto" name.
I don't think everyone knows that you can rename your mech, because the button for is very easy to miss.
I don't know why you have to save a preset, THEN go into that preset to set the AC name. Why isn't the AC name just the name of the preset?
Yeah, I have no idea.
It's a really stupid design decision even if it's something rather minor, I thought all my mechs were named for the longest time.
I know you can rename, I'm just wondering if there's any lore reasons or callbacks with "Loader 4".
How? You can rename them from Assembly. Is it really that difficult to read the UI?
Loader 1, Loader 2, and Loader 3 all died during the trailer.
Four is the funniest small amount of money, because it's the smallest amount you can have while still having the highest number of bills.
What are you talking about? You don't have 3 dollar bills? Everyone pays me in 3 dollar bills.
4 us an unlucky number. You also get 13 as your number by the Red Gun.
What are 'loaders anyway?
Holy %#%&, you're 621 frfr
The player character 621 also had Gen IV augmentation surgery done to him before the start of the game.
Good point!
621 is also an unfortunate number
How so? Please explain.
Loader 1/3 are 617-618-620 who died in the trailer
As for 618 no info, my guess is that's either the Raven we get the callsign from, or Nightfall perhaps?
>Speaking of, I kind, do we know the loadouts for them?
Honestly anyone who didn't buy and play Armored Core VI when it came out isn't a real gamer in my eyes.
Christ you Souls fags are insufferable.
Why does Vaati sound like a fag? Below Average Gamer is my fav ac tuber
bro if you didn't get the picture that this game was gonna go for some transhumanism evolution since first ending when Ayre literally bitches at you for not giving symbiosis a chance her whole fight. I don't know what to tell you, my guy.
I do honestly hope they get the chance to finally achieve their dreams of becoming one massive, heinous, mostly darkies orgyblob and then proceed to immediately die.
Leaving the rest of us people the actual human race to live in peace.
Go kill some poorfags in the hole, En's lapdog.
Maybe I will

Don't be discouraged by the retards below. I sense some heavy implications and mysticism in fromsoft games too. Especially Bloodborne/ER. They must have done a lot of research about mythology, they're not pulling it out of their ass.
>while with ACVI it's just "this is a stupid mech game with no story, i'm refunding it"
It was shill by a soulfag, vaati. So that could be part of the problem. And again, some people just hate how there no human faces to see them talk to, but I would blame years and years of v-tubers and shitty vidya story rotting viewer's mind with that.
Snail did nothing wrong
Spoken like a true lobotomite fresh from arquebus's re-education centres
>it can no longer be said that the PS3 can play every single Armored Core game
damn...
>the glow option in the photo editor is a real setting
>we don't have access to it
I hope they add this with an update.
Kind of sad that we never see this mini cataphracts as enemies. There's also those big mechs that Rusty disabled but we never got to fight.
Cataphract is already the boss everyone forgets exists, I don't think mini-cataphracts would add anything interesting.
Speak for yourself. The missions where it shows up are great. You either run him over or he runs you over--no inbetweens.
>There's also those big mechs that Rusty disabled but we never got to fight.
The wreck from the post-wall climbing mission? Wasn't that a Juggernaut?
I do have the close range FCS, but I've been using them at medium to close range. I guess I can try to be more conservative in that regard.
Respec to Kinetic + Melee and get yourself an Ashmead. Ibis HATES the pile bunker.
Alright, I'll give it a shot.
Are you landing all your shots? I can't remember what recoil pistols have. Check your arms' recoil control, and pick the fcs with max close range assist I guess. And don't fire until you're real close, I don't shoot those things outside shotgun range. Then again, I never beat Ibis with them either
Somebody...anybody...
inb4 tank
that gun is a chonker
From could use some money to program a better camera. Does the OS augmentation that unlocks manual aiming fixes the problem to some extent?
Any tips on how to improve my build/mech colors?
The yellow on her tummy and thighs needs to be more of a gold/bronze. maybe a bit less shiny, too
Where's her iconic emblem?
Wrong fucking pic
Your darks look a bit too dark, especially the red.
I bet that red looks especially bad in sunlight, I have the same issue with a lot of mine.
anyone got the estimate on the bonus payout needed to get S-rank on grid 086? Do i need to kill the golden log hunt guy too for cash?
dlc and/or expansion when
>is allied with the RLF
>also grinds the RLF into fine paste while climbing his side of the wall
That man is ice cold.
Undercover means undercover
have you actually seen him kill RLF? he flies up from above to join you against juggernaut and leaves midway.
Bro, your PCA?
Ice Worm
Branch isnt there
But Raven is (you) so it works out.
621, my "friends" tell me that V. VI Maeterlinck has got a fat ass. I need you to survey the assets to confirm.
Daily reminder that mining rig is the only proper ac boss in the game and this is the worst entry in franchise as such.
Fights like Ibis and Super Iguazu basically being suped up ACs was far more interesting than arms forts.
It was interesting and original but let's not pretend it was challenging and worth replaying a lot unlike the rest of the bosses.
>challenging
Hello soulsfag. Nobody ever gave a fuck about difficulty in armored core, same as nobody played ace combat for difficulty.
That's cool but I do like the difficulty in this one and I consider it one of the main quality. Anything else?
are laser drones just better than the laster turret and laser orbit? everything runs from the turret and the orbit overheats too fast.
Only female who's EVER given me validation!
HOW THE FUCK DO YOU BEAT ALLMIND/IGUAZU THAT gayS CLAW ATTACK KEEPS KILLING ME
IM USING A REVERSE JOINT AC WITH GATLING GUNS AND MISISLES
Literally jump over him or dodge in the opposite direction of the swing. He's one of the most straightforward fights in the game.
This is my robot
BLAND
I like bland. My robot also fights like Shadow the Hedgehog.
Only the wheel enemies can fight like Shadow the Hedgehog
I slash all these red energy beams around while screaming "CHAOS CONTROL!" in my tiny apartment though
store brand white glint
Once I make an emblem and add some highlights you'll all be sorry. You'll see!
Too white, -6000000 ESG score.
I like it 🙂
Don't listen to haters, you do you!
Thanks anon
You got lucky, freela-ACK!
made a new mcdonalds mech
the Bigger mac
i just did this mission lmao
iguazu the eternal shitter
I like how the head is like a fry box.
Also this mech is supposed to fight in the snow. I've been making camouflages for all the different map variants.
damn that camo is really effective anon
Holy shit I can't even see it
He's not even in the snow yet!
I appreciate it
I got the red eye and the guns are black.
What the fuck was his problem?
You betray the Red Gun. He just lost his role model G1 (if you're doing the NG++ route, you didn't kill him), and on top of all the shit is going on in MIA, his mind is basically fucked.
What controller config do you guys use for 4a? Simple makes me fuck up so much.
I'm being filtered by Carla, help
There's too many missiles and they're impossible to avoid
i shit on chatty first cause for some reason, at least for me, carla stays in the bottom floor
Stay out of Chatty's field of view with the pillars on the bottom floor, kill Carla first with close range weapons, then go after chatty. recommend assault armor for quick stagger potential.
I did Chatty first. He is terrible defending himself at close quarters. You kill him way before Carla finds a way up to you.
Must be nice. Carla finds her way up to me instantly.
Dual pistol supremacy.
was this dante build intentional or not
It was either him or Alucard. I had to make a choice.
Does anyone have advice how to improve this Melee set-up? I can't decide which Orbit is best, am sticking with Gattling for now.
I know Arms/Booster/FCS have melee specific bonuses, i'm curious if any other parts specifically make melee stronger.
>the grid 086 fight with Iguazu ends with me punching him to death
>the Allmind fight at the end of NG++ ends with me punching Iguazu to death
Kino book end

catbox is shitting the bed so i cant see them without waiting on what feels like dialup internet
thanks tho
>catbox is shitting the bed
Yeah, I noticed that when I was uploading the image to it. They work for me after refreshing the page a couple times, though YMMV. Here, have another Ayre in recompense.
Thanks Ayrebro. Some cute Ayres in here.
I keep repeating the Ayre arena fight because it's the closest thing to having sex with her. Is that normal?
Totally normal.
I really thought I was the only one that did this
What persona will Allmind create for the Master of Arena update? Will Kate come back and pretend she's not Allmind?
Anyone has that galaxy looking AC? The one with stars and galaxy? That was top tier.
That sounds cool and potentially very camouflage.
I'm starting to think a mute cyber newtype whose only skill is killing wasn't exactly the best role model for Ayre in NG++
>tfw I'm using a vanilla Alba set with a single Zimm and missiles
why does carla say the word "stupider"??
maybe some see it as a valid word but you will never get respect using it! say dumber you intelectual but purposefully redneck sounding BITCH!!!!!!
ESL? Stupider is fine.
i was threatened to be failed by my teachers growing up for using that word and potentially was almost disowned by my own mother once (a teacher)
Sounds like you were just surrounded by cunts.
In case you haven't realized it: teaching is one of the most attractive professions for cunts that want to bully people that can't defend themselves.
You sound fat.
you sound stupider
See now that sounds stupid
No fatshaming on Rubicon
Can't get fat if all you eat are mealworm :^)
Be nice he just got back from church school after being beaten by his teacher
All teachers are just retards who join the position to bully people lower than them. Like cops (sans murder)
Yes stupider is a valid adjective
teachers murder your spirit
Fighting Balteus after fighting Ibis is so weird.
i swear im not a shitter guys, i SWEAR IT
i dont wanna use the song birds! but they are just so EN efficient on my missile spam build that i cant help BUT use them!
believe me, I want to use shit like the soups, or hell even a delivery boy! but i cant do it gosh darn it! i just CANT!
just like eh
get a bigger genny mate?
no
its big where it matters, its fuck huge capacity
>soups
All of Carla's weapons are even more brain dead, they just dont have that insta burst zimm/song/stun give you
>S-ranked Michigan mission first try
MISSILES FUCK YEAH
I'm about to finish NG+ with a different ending. Should I go for all combat logs now before starting NG++? When I go to replay mission I see that I also have the opportunity to do missions I didn't do this time around, that will be the same for NG++ right? What happens when I finish NG++? Does it start the game again from beginning or does it go to some sort of postgame mode where I can replay all missions?
Pretty sure you can play them all. I didn't doublecheck but pretty sure I can.
It starts from the beginning but with all missions in the replay
You also miss out on certain arena fights after finishing NG++ so do those when they show up. They give you gear too
I just have the three last analysis arena matches that are still locked, I suppose it's those you mean? Or are there more to come?
You can replay mission as long you've done it at least once in the story mode. Doing NG++ just boots you to a NG+++ and you can do it al over again in case you missed any mission in the earlier runs.
Are beam/plasma weapons any good? The only one I've had any luck with are the laser pistols.
I think the most expensive coral weapons are amazing
Its one of the few ways a newbies could plow through Balteus. At one point, get a better generator and it will be better. You like wing lazer, don't you?
plasma shoulder weapons are fantastic. huge blast radius and they actively spread out to cover even more ground.
aside from that laser shotguns are decent and the normal plasma rifle holds up well against bosses and MTs
people claim you can make laser rifles work but idk they just feel underwhelming
Pater was too pure for this world
Carla GILF pussy and hairy bush.
"Cinder" Carla's pussy and burnt bush
How do people feel about the Sampu burst handguns?
Most of the time I hear people talking about handguns, I think they're talking about the Viento or Ducketts
You can probably make them work if you finesse it, but I could never make it work.
Tried them for a bit, they do great stagger damage but I felt they required a bit more finesse to use than Vientos or Ducketts since you need to hit both shots to get comparable results.
>3v3
>other team is gays using the gayest shit imaginable
>"ok"
>equip cancer loadout and be an even bigger gay for a round
>entire enemy team immediately leaves afterwards
so they can dish it but they can't take it?
I'm playing 3v3 now
Honestly it's hectic as fuck. Not sure if I like it
3v3 is full of discord sitting shitters who meme build
same shit in dark souls, the twinks of these games lay in these 3v3 lobbies
Are the wheelchair legs a meme?
They're the fastest leg option but in vertical levels they're a liability
They are FASTER than light weight legs, but has more AP and defends.
I feel like they're so good it's cheating so I stopped using them.
Honestly after more than halfway through NG++, The story is so damn confusing, you get backstabbed by almost all the other people, some peoples motivations or reasons to attack make no sense at all
free ziyi, free dolyman, they both attack you? I just fucking saved you.
avoid snail, instead of helping you take down the ship which would both benefit you at the moment because you both want the coral, he attacks you isntead
flatwell, previous mission you team up to take down V.VIII and V.V, next mission he fucking backstabs you while you fight rusty
carla attacks you despite connection with walter
there's others but man it's just a jumbled mess.
It's Armored Core, you work for corporations for a while and then everyone you've ever met tries to kill you.
You either save Ziyi or attack her, not both. Dolmayan is just a crazy doser at the end of the day.
Snail is a top cunt. You shouldn't have expected less
Flatwell's deal is quite shaky, I'll give you that
Am I remembering wrong or do you not fight Ziyi in the investigate rusty mission survey after the wall mission?
You do not get the investigation mission if you aided the RLF at the dam.
You do not get the rescue mission if you stuck with the redguns at the dam.
>Carla attacks you because she doesn't know who the fuck you are
you'd think she'd recognize her own fucking RaD parts that she supplies to walter.
>rad parts
BALEM SUPREME BITCHES also fuck you know she doesn't sell the parts to just Walter, right dumbassm
>you know she doesn't sell the parts to just Walter
still fucking retarded to not even having an inkling of who it might be if it's not some dozer rat
Anon RaD sells shit to loads of people. They're a business.
>dolyman,
He is insane and try to prevent you from doing ending 3.
>avoid snail,
Snail is always a gay that will hate your guts.
Remember that its Ayre, not Walter, that accept the task.
>his nephew
Why the FUCK do so many people miss the obvious fact that Uncle is a nickname? They aren't actually related you brainless troglodyte.
people literally don't read the godamn bios,
want a good example?
The icons of the Vespers, and their AC names. People think this shit is just for decoration and not a lore piece explaining the re-education process at the camps.
Because it isn't you troglodyte. Get yourself checked for autism because missing obvious social cues is a giant red flag.
Holy fuck
Father Dolmayan is the "Father" of the rebellion
Flatwell is his right-hand man and effective leader, his "brother"
Making him "Uncle"
You should vacate this thread after having been so thoroughly embarrassed.
bruh?
Here, I literally booted up my game to show you a record of an RLF soldier mentioning "Uncle" Flatwell, HIS CODENAME, when fighting Rusty. Yikes. I don't want to see you dummies posting in another Armored Core thread. Got it?
>Anons lacking basic reading comprehension skills
I share this board with a bunch of ESLs
Asians just call older people uncle and auntie. It's like one of their "sir" or "m'am", or like how black people add "Ms.".
You people do realize that Rusty isn't actually Flatwell's nephew right? Flatwell is just referred to as "Uncle" in the Rubicon Liberation Front because he's the de facto leader with "Father" Dolmayan not in the picture.
anon, flatwell literally knows rusty and the one connection to the RLF, rusty is a double agent. he's the nephew and I don't know how you idiots think anything other than that
Outside of V.IISnail being a gigacunt and having 0 reasons to take you down in Ng+ everyone has a clear motivation for trying to put you down.
Wait now that I think of it Snail was right. You ignored him, he is arquebus. What the fuck where you THINKING?
His reasoning is retarded because I've been helping RFL the entire game and now I've got to kill the only good RFL pilot.
You've also been helping Arquebus and Balam. You've been helping the highest bidder, since you're an independent merc.
Dolmaya is aware and against the objective of the coral voices so he sees you a threat.
How much does QB Ideal Reload Weight matter? I had to go pretty light to get under it for the best melee booster.
The melee thrust stat thing doesn't even apply to the lance. You goofed.
Depends on the AC and playstyle. Faster reload matters more on bipeds and less on reverse joints imo.
>I had to go pretty light to get under it for
You actually want to be closer to ideal weight. If you go way under it you get a penalty in the same way if you go way over it.
I'm about 20 points below it IIRC. It was very close.
Darn, I don't normally melee much so I didn't know that, guess I'll switch weapons then. Any others it doesn't apply to?
Why does literally every anon feel like they have to make a war machine look like one of two things:
1. a clown in a circus
2. a sports car

How do you know he hasn't already?
I have obtained every achievement except the S rank all missions
Now it's time to spend 20+ more hours just making ACs/emblems
Hey anons, you know if the game's filter censors spoilers?
I named my guy STEEL HAZE CORAL and I was wondering if maybe that's what's triggering the censor
Because otherwise not sure what would do it.
C Oral
There's your answer
Fromsoft is a bunch of fucking goons
You really think that's the case?
I mean fuck, the word coral is literally a core term in the game. Why would that be censored?
Also might it result in a ban?
Ask fromsoft I have no clue but I'm unsure if you'll get your skull crushed for that name
>Slave K***ht Gael
how the actual fuck are you supposed to beat ibis?

>starts shooting you before the phase 2 health bar appears
fantastic stuff
Don't keep up. It's a futile effort if you don't know the boss inside and out. Survive and punish with melees.
Stagger, then melee.
What the fuck is a karasawa build
I swear to God why does ac6 thread always have a fucking semantic war with phrasing and words? You fuckers get autistic about the dumbest shit.
i'd be very interested to see what a first person mod of this game could be like
i feel like the camera is just ever so slightly too close to the character, and you take about 20% of the screen space
you adjust to it, but a bit obnoxious at first
VaatiVidya said the Raven you fight from BRANCH is the same one from Last Raven since he hacked and led the PCA there
how true is this?
They're from different timelines.
Vaati thinks there was an Erdtree before the Erdtree that the Erdtree cannibalized. He's not great at the lore thing, and that was just stolen from a post on Ganker
>VaatiVidya said
It's not true, and fuck off
It's false, the games are separate self contained stories. It's the typical soulsfag reaching that will try to seek hidden meaning in the way corpses are lying around.
No. The timeline is
>Last Raven: Some time before AC4, all NEXT pilots are called LINX
>AC4A: Path to space opens, humans have to adjust to life on the surface, enabling ACV/VD to take place
>AC6: Those that went into space, eventually, reached Rubicon
There's at least five hundred years in between these events. That Raven is NOT the ""Last Raven"".
Nine Breaker did try to vaguely imply 3 onwards was after 2, but that game is so fucking wonky and barely "there" or possibly even non-canon that it doesn't really matter either way.
>ke Snail's tests to figure out why AC manned units are still more effective than unmanned AI units.
source?
>the factory
>in the escape mission Snail says to take you to the factory instead of re-education
>leave the torso in tact
So he's butchering people and shoving their brains/mutilated bodies inside of ACs to act as the brains?
Yep.
The factory is explicitly where humans Snail wants disposed of are sent
The rose of the AC is referred to as the Core in game
And he's researching why human pilots outperform AI pilots so I think the heavy implication here is that he's going full Sundowner
As true as you spamming this on every thread to make up random bs to make other anons seethe and I hate this moron btw
It's not seethe, moral people in general have a compulsion to teach others the truth and correct misconceptions. This compulsion can be easily exploited for the luls by malicious retards that get a kick out of pretending to be retarded.
really not taking lore pointers from the guy that hadn't played a single armored core until 3 months ago
It's even worse. He announced his intent to make videos all about the series lore and only played the older games because his wife told him too.
>e and only played the older games because his wife told him too.
sounds like bs
That's not really an argument because you can learn a lot in 3 months.
besides, he's not giving you gameplay tips.
Also also, he beat Balteus without taking any damage, let's see your kill.
Fuck off Vaati.
Concession accepted.
Let's face it, at this point he knows more about ACs than (You), because your played those games like 20 years ago, if at all.
>concession
damn anon you really stole his Armored Soul with this word. he's Preparing to Cry at this very moment.
>Preparing to Cry
Did you know that the Dafeng test pilot wanted his own call sign and join the Red Guns? Now he can't because you killed him.
Or did you?
Even better, we took his callsign.
>VaatiVidya
Is AC threads going to be filled with these people now?
What people?
secondaries
yes, we armored souls now!! [T]/ praise the sun!
brainlets who google "[thing] explained" after watching or playing a thing
They already are both here and the generals
Their shitty raids here should be telling of that much
people said there's an invisble mech every mission is that ture?
No.
There's one in the early grid 135 cleanup. If you backtrack to where you crashed at the beginning of the game you'd see a stealth boi there
so what's up witht hat. i haven't beaten ng+ but what are they.
the answer isn't apparent until the NG++ path
Is there a missile build? I want to fire a lot of missiles like heavy arms-sama
Yes, there's a shit ton of missiles of all kinds, some of them extremely cancerous in pvp because of how difficult they are to avoid and they are decent in storymode as well. Missiles can absolutely trivialize many of the PCA fights.
There are multiple shoulder and arm missiles. I think if you fired all four at once, the most you could fire is like 28 or something.
I can play the game now
why does kate markson want to have sex with me so much in that mission?
She's just acknowledging your skills as a pilot, Augmented Human C4-621.
>Weapon arms
VIRGIN SHIT
I WANT WEAPON LEGS
BIPEDS THAT TURN INTO CANNONS AND LAUNCH A ROCKET WHEN YOU GO FOR A KICK
CATERPILLARS WITH CHAINSAW TREADS
I want NO legs
Give me giant arms to fucking gorilla around and beat shit in bare handed
PILEBUNKER KNEES
POGO STICK PILEBUNKER LEGS TO LAUNCH YOURSELF AT THE ENEMY
Heavy tetrapod legs that you can detach to be become a lightweight biped.
those are your melee weapons and you can make them a mecha nunchuk!
i just wanna be him bro, but i never will be....
Taking on zim spammers with the 'Zam...
I'd zam every last zim if i could, but for all that i am, i will never be zam.....damn......
What do Alt Missions do? Will they change the ending I get if I replay them?
They ruin your game forever.
>Unlock the games Karasawa
>it sucks unless you charge it then it becomes decent
Why?
>everybody is either dead or is curently my ally, who is going to be the final boss
it was obvious and i still got surprised
worst thing about this game is the hud
i need devs to stop fucking using white 80% opacity huds in games that are bright or have snow scapes, or goddamn fucking explosions
give me NEON GREEN
ORANGE
FUCKING PINK, ANYTHING BUT SEMI TRANSPARENT WHITE HOLY FUCK
It makes me miss the older huds, which got the idea across without being too complex unless you made them complex. Makes me wonder if THAT is moddable.
They let you customize the colours in 4th gen. I'm not sure why they took that away in 5.
You didn't like not being able to see what the fuck your HP is?
>can't see your hp
moron, I'm colorblind and have no problems with that. Literally get your eyes checked.
The only thing you can't see is the reload bars on weapons.
lack of radar is pretty shite too
also the notification sounds are way too fucking quiet. It's impossible to tell when your weapons have finished reloading/cooling
I finally beat NG++. I might have been reading too fast, but can somebody explain why ALLMIND suddenly wanted us dead?
It wanted to assimilate all of humanity and coral into a single being ala Evangelion.
She doesnt need a second trigger
Then why wake you up and not just kill you in your sleep?
Because she still needs you and Ayre to start the process. Iguazu was never meant to break out.
doubt.jpeg
All ALLMIND needs to do is get enough Coral in one place to start a singularity and hijack an augmented human who received Coral based surgery.
She chose Iguazu so 621 is redundant and could've been left alone.
She openly states that "the two of you will become the trigger". Iguazu was an aberration precisely because he broke out of control and she permitted for the fight to occur because it didn't matter to her who was the brain, so long as one of them was remaining.
>get aurora and moonlight sword
Aw shit we jehuty now
What an absolute unit
>that means if he dies of a bad fall no one gets a big "took him down" share and everyone instead gets an equal share of the bounty
Can't wait for the expansion to bring the allmind head and claw weapon to the game.
>Can't make an UrbanMech like I've done in AC games past because gun arms no longer exist
Sadness.
I hate trashcans I hate trashcans I hate trashcans
*strategic launch detected*
That can has an AC/20, fuck around and find out.
Someone told me that bipeds are more "light" mecha usually and reverse joints are more "medium", is this true? Explain the legs types to me, I don't really get it besides being able to hop/hover/drift.
RJs weigh way more than bipeds
Got a job for you, 621. I'm hungy,
