i heard remedy tried to cut this entire part from the game, but sam fought for it. dude must be really happy about its success
am happy for him as well and the fact that homosexuals here hate it makes me feel even better
If you don't like something blatantly gay and lame, like a 30 min musical sequence with synchronized dancing in your "horror" game, 'you're just trying to be masculine' and 'you're not a western man'.
Got it!
OP waited 13 years for a sequel that don't have progression in the story. >Alice returns to the Dark Place, making the actions of Alan pointless >Alan still trapped. He can't escape because he sucks as a writer. >lol. lmao even.
The fact that enemies respawn infinitely and they consume a lot of resources that you don't get back made the experience sour for me. I'm now in the subway with Alan and i was debating if it's worth it to search for stuff around. I know most people are here for shitposting but i don want to hear an opinion. If people here even played the game
Never personally experienced. And I tend to be thorough with exploration, and was until nursing home (but the game makes you go all the way back to the town through the way you game which should have respawned the wolves you come across there)
>that you don't get back
this is SO objectively untrue, that I question whether the former thing you said is even true. Yes the resource management is tight, but the game will OBJECTIVELY always try to give you back enough resources for the next big fight, and I only ever truly felt drained right after the Cynthia fight, especially because I solved a nursery rhyme on the way back which spawned some enemies in a new area I'd never been to. But right after that, you get a decent amount of resources back at the police station, and I think I actually got more rifle ammo in the end. It's pretty well balanced imo. I can only hope Nightmare mode will be even more.
I'm glad that i am speaking bullshit then. The moment the game opened up with Saga i started looking looking around and found the stashes and the nursery rhymes. I found a wolf which zipped around so fast i couldn't pinpoint it and i wasted my batteries, the cult members sometimes got their shadows removed when i flashed them sometimes didn't and i got so worried that i just went on with the story. Thank God i now know that resources will respawn in the places i already looked at and enemies have actually fixed spawn locations.
>i now know that resources will respawn in the places i already looked at
woah woah, I never said that. I just meant that the game will try to give you enough resources to not be drowning and just barely stay afloat. the next new place you explore...
>sometimes got their shadows removed when i flashed them sometimes didn't and i got so worried that i just went on with the story.
uhh? not sure what you mean by this. The sound for enemies getting their darkness shield removed is pretty distinct. if they have no shield they'll typically cover their eyes and be stunned momentarily. You don't even need to hold R1. You can just press it once. The game tells you this a bit later, but yeah, it works whenever (I think).
>I found a wolf which zipped around so fast
yeah, they're a tricky enemy to figure out at first, especially because they're AI pathing can be retarded and inconsistent sometimes. Just make sure to try and keep enough track of them that they don't lunge at you from behind. They will also slowly walk towards you before lunging (most of the time). You can't dodge back against them, or atleast it's been inconsistent for me, so I just dodge to the side. If you're missing too many shots, you can stun them momentarily with the flashlight and get some headshots in. It's best to use the crossbow or shotgun with them, because the longer they take to put down, the more straining they are on your mental fortitude since they're obnoxious and strong.
/spoiler/

What did he mean by this?
If i make a gollum thread will you call me a shill?
Depends on the purpose of the thread, this one is clearly trying to shill a mediocre walking simulator.
You are clinically insane
>You don't like FOTM game, this means you're clinically insane
Wow, shit escalated really quickly.
Still not buying you're mediocre game, shill

>What the fuck was he doing in the dark place?
Zane's movie's Finnish lyrics imply the Dark Place is the afterlife. So I guess the Indians in the first game were right.

Best movie of 2023 by far, I'll give you that.

What a beautiful and extravagant way to come out of the closet. Go slayy, queen Sami!
What?
Thank god.
What the fuck is remedy doing? They should focus on Control 2 and leave this multiplayer nonsense
>the DARK place...
>the MIND place...
>the SUNKEN place...
>"where did you go just now...?"
this is the absolute gayest shit about modern writing
what ending? its a fucking cliff hanger
What ending homosexuals? You'll have to wait for NG+ for that and even then, that's only to see if Saga's phone call connects.
I love these low-key and chill threads not invaded by shitposters even tho I haven't finished the game yet. I just like seeing that they're up
Yes, its a gay old time 🙂
What is it that makes turd worlders like yourself so obsessed with appearing masculine, when we know you're in fact, the biggest homosexuals?
It's beacuse our daddy never told us not be ashamed of our dicks...

But now we have Saga! Alan could never accomplish anything because he's a heckin white male.
