>Game that was actively sabotaged didn't sell as much as a game that has a two year head start and another game that cannibilized the holiday rush
whoa....
Released after Christmas with another main series pokemon game coming out right before next holiday season = no major holiday sales boost, and to a lesser extent released shortly before other highly anticipated games like Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West = quickly forgotten/overshadowed by the competition.
you'd think with a fanbase as big and as rabid as pokemon that they'd be topping every game sales chart, and yet they don't lol. really goes to show the quality of their games
SwSh selling 370k versus Odyssey's 480k when SwSh had been outpacing Odyssey almost every quarter is a sign that it's sold almost all it's ever going to sell by this point. It will leg it out to 25 million before SV comes out and maybe add an extra million throughout the 3 or so remaining years of Switch.
1: Meh
2: troony game
3: Fighting game that gets boring after 20 minutes
4: Actually good, not as good as OOT or MM but good
5: Shit, i dont need to explain why
6: Actually good, felt more like a collectathon than a Mario game though
7: Shit, gets boring after a while
8: Worst pokemon remake ever, would be better if they remade the superior version (Platinum) instead
9: KAAAAANTTOOOOO, shit
10: I play vidya to play vidya, not to become fit, shit game
The fact pokemon somehow manages to sell more after it goes to shit is concerning as well as disapointing. Is it because pokemon go threw pokemon back into the minds of normies which then got it en masse for their kids?
>PLA no where in sight
PLAbros....I think we've lost..
It's officially at 12 million, it will pass BDSP in the next update, probably SWSH too.
