Haven't had a crash on switch, just seems to be ryujinx having trouble emulating stuff, they'll probably have released a fix by tomorrow I'm guessing. This is a dumped copy from a real cart so it's just like a normal game.
There's no way the ROM dump could have required 15.0.0 since it wasn't released yet. Carts are months behind. Probably something in your setup that was wrong that got fixed when you updated

They just strobe like it's a rave and it gets unplayable at time when the camera faces the wrong way and the screen basically goes white. I don't see anyone else complaining.

I tried looking into it, I was able to rip the file the BGMs are stored in but 95% of the songs cut out after a second or two. It's also suspiciously small, only 11MB.

Pretty much. What's going to happen too is Yuzu will catch up on friday and be the better emulator for a while until Ryujinx catches up and becomes the definitive emu, as per usual.
Use both, they have different compatibility levels depending on the game.
Neither of them can play Bayo 3 right now though, so your only option is to either wait for one of them to fix it or run it on a hacked Switch.
Ryujinx is ALWAYS better except in the very beginning which you may want to use Yuzu and then save transfer to avoid crashes

It's the same game that released today that will release friday. There might be an update file but that will have no baring on the emulator problems. It's also very unlikely to smooth out performance on the actual Switch. Bug fixes at most.
are you on nvidia 516.40? or an AMD card? I've tried all those ryujinx tweaks and it still crashes every 3-5 mins but I haven't rolled back my drivers yet

You have to tough it out.
It's common with the last two gens of consoles when it comes to emulating them.
The first time it loads anything new, it compiles shaders and the game stutters for a milisecond or so, and unfortunately it stacks up, so the longer the cutscene is the more pronounced it gets.
On a second go all the shaders are already compiled and it's all smooth.

Shaders still have to compile on vulkan just they are faster at compiling than opengl. So if there is a lot of them then it could still cause audio desync just less so than opengl.

I did try that already actually. It stayed at 60fps more often, but still had drops to 40 every few seconds. Also vsync/framerate cap/whatever the frick is fricked up anyways as it constantly goes above 60 to 61, same with cutscenes, which creates stuttering. I dunno if I should wait until it's fully playable on an emulator or bear with the shit performance on the Switch.

Just tried it on ryujinx using all the settings posted so far and the records of time were fine outside of it stuttering a bit when I used Gommorah. Although once I got to the prologue cutscene where Bayo gets Color my World the game started stuttering constantly leading to the cutscene dysnc happening. Then it straight up crashed during the fight. Guess I have to wait for ryujinx updates.
I dunno why people are being so dumb, it's not even hard to install the driver.
Literally installing an exe and using the other settings people have said for Expand DRAM being on and Ignore missing services beng on, vulkan with vsync enabled and using firmware and prod.keys 15.0.0

Neither of them can play Bayo 3 right now though, so your only option is to either wait for one of them to fix it or run it on a hacked Switch.

It's the same game that released today that will release friday. There might be an update file but that will have no baring on the emulator problems. It's also very unlikely to smooth out performance on the actual Switch. Bug fixes at most.

Sure am. Gave the old Switch a chance but the only way to get the game to run at 60fps was to force it to run in handheld mode while overclocking it back up to docked clocks.

it's not running well if you're getting audio desync, that means there's stuttering, the shaders aren't loading and that is what causes the desync
How do you fix that though, rewatch the cutscenes? Downloading shaders doesn't do much for vulkan.

You have to tough it out.
It's common with the last two gens of consoles when it comes to emulating them.
The first time it loads anything new, it compiles shaders and the game stutters for a milisecond or so, and unfortunately it stacks up, so the longer the cutscene is the more pronounced it gets.
On a second go all the shaders are already compiled and it's all smooth.

Shaders still have to compile on vulkan just they are faster at compiling than opengl. So if there is a lot of them then it could still cause audio desync just less so than opengl.

There's no option to do it on the Switch, unless there's some homebrew app that lets you enable it for games.
Try installing sys-clk and bumping up the clock speed. Haven't tried it with 3 but it made the game run at a rock solid 60 for 2.
I did try that already actually. It stayed at 60fps more often, but still had drops to 40 every few seconds. Also vsync/framerate cap/whatever the frick is fricked up anyways as it constantly goes above 60 to 61, same with cutscenes, which creates stuttering. I dunno if I should wait until it's fully playable on an emulator or bear with the shit performance on the Switch.

Just tried it on ryujinx using all the settings posted so far and the records of time were fine outside of it stuttering a bit when I used Gommorah. Although once I got to the prologue cutscene where Bayo gets Color my World the game started stuttering constantly leading to the cutscene dysnc happening. Then it straight up crashed during the fight. Guess I have to wait for ryujinx updates.
So I got a crash after the first cutscene I guess? when bayo gets her ass kicked by the spook. I have the ignore missing services thing already on

Literally installing an exe and using the other settings people have said for Expand DRAM being on and Ignore missing services beng on, vulkan with vsync enabled and using firmware and prod.keys 15.0.0
If it still doesn't work...well, shit, just wait until ryujinx or yuzu get their shit together.
pointed out that they're trying to address some issues with the latest nvidia driver so maybe that'll help when the new build is ready
how confirmed is this? I use VR apps and I'd rather not downgrade my drivers unless needed
I got past the first cutscene after the intro, it was crashing before with the latest nvidia driver. Can't speak of course for the rest of the game.
has anyone reached the demon sliding on buildings section in chapter 1? what was your fps there? mine was around 20-35~ with ryzen 5 5600x and a 1080, curious how it works for you guys

NTA but while capping the fps externally DOES work it causes the menus to full moron and further desyncs the cutscenes
