>Be on Steam for almost 10 years
>Barely have 200 games
>See all these people with 2,000-8,000 games
Yes, I actually fricking saw someone with over 8,000 games in their Steam account, and they'd only be on Steam for about five years. Just blows my fricking mind, I can't even fathom having 1,000 games on Steam, I barely have 200, but I only play certain stuff and I know what I like. I'm pretty limited on what genres I'll play when it comes to video games. I feel like "video game collectors" are massively autistic, and I thought 200 games was a lot of money, but we're talking over the course of 10 years.
Can't imagine what some people spent on their Steam account if they have 2,000 to 8,000 games in their library. Gotta be a shit ton of money invested in their Steam account, just blows my mind.

WUT HAPPEN TO MY FREAKIN CAH
8000 in 5 years is 1600 games a year, 133 games per month, and close to four and a half games per day. Somehow I smell bullshit.
autists like that actually exist, seen many before. there's people with 10k+ games. it's just nolife taiwanese attention prostitutes (usually pretending to be girls) with way too much disposable income that basically make Steam their version of the social credit score.
Bundles and giveaways (on other sites, redeemed on Steam), my man.
i have like 20 maybe 40 games tops over the course of 10 years in steam too and for me you seem like the guy who's autistic.
>even the the biggest oldgays on Ganker don't play video games
But the least autistic normalfriends I know are constantly buying games at full price, playing them for 20 hours, and wiping them from their minds after they're done...
It don't matter
internet is a great place to feel poor when you compare yourself to similar looking folks
if you want to especially feel poorer just look at someone's crypto wallet
Rich people brag and show off, poor people don't. You don't get an accurate picture by just looking around.
Shit anon, before they stopped doing games and now just stopped being anything you probably could've racked up 8k games for $1 per 5-10 of them just off Groupees alone.
Come down to it, I actually find it really fricking hard to believe you've legit been on steam for a decade, without knowing a goddamn thing about greenlight whoring.
omega Black person oldgay here, i have like 440 games and only played maybe 25% of them, lot of stuff i got out of old humble bundles
people with 1000+ games are just moron compulsive buyers and/or hoarders
17 year account with 425 games, myself. I'd say at least half are from bundles accumulated over the years. I really can't fathom how or why people would buy thousands of games digitally
Steam sales and bundle deals, it's not hard accumulate too many games you'll never touch
I have never met anyone with an account older than mine. I barely have any games too. I don't understand people with thousands of games and super young accounts.
Jesus my account alone is older than 99% of this fricking board.
Proof that I'm old as frick. I cant even upload pics correctly.
cute profile anon
The thing that weirds me out is the people with little girls all over their profiles with those weird animated schoolgirl backgrounds like with no shame at all shits bad
People who don't play a lot of games are like readers who don't read a lot of books. You don't know shit about vidya unless you've played a lot of vidya.
come on carl just say you’re jealous of my steam account. I’m not gonna rub it in your face, okay maybe if it will get me with the ladies
I have 400 and have been at that number for years since I stopped doing this:
>want a $20 game
>see it in a bundle for $30
>Wow! only $10 extra dollars for a dozen games I don't care about! Such a good deal!
>do this a couple times
>I now have 400 games
consoomerism is one hell of a drug, I can't imagine wearing it like a badge of honor like the thousandaires.
>for a dozen games I don't care about!
Ive actually found quite a few great games I otherwise wouldnt have known about or tried thanks to this. One example that sticks out the most for me was Synthetik.
Same. There's definitely some fun to be had trying out games you have zero interest in and expectations for. Most of these games are absolute slop though.
Of all the money you donated to BLM and troony charities? not really
I am one of the large amount of game guys on steam. Jealous?
Oops, pic related
Nice
>have like ten games on steam
>only played like two
>give away thread
>alright why not?
>yeah dude just post your steam i gift ya 😉
>post steam
>OBVIOUSLY A FRICKING FAKE ACCOUNT NOT GIVING YOU SHIT
why do you only have ten games and why have you only played 2 of them
I have 26 games (13 of which I have zero hours logged and got them free) and my Steam account is literally 19 years old. I don't think I've logged a single hour on a Steam game in over a year.
Actually I think I might be short one. Swear to God I installed my old retail copy of Half-life through Steam when I got VAC banned from CS 1.6. That one pissed me off, they gave me a five-year ban back in 2003.
Wait a sec. My account only says 14 years old. The frick. Maybe I rolled a new account after my old one got banned. Huh. I wonder what my old account was called. Cause I know I got VAC banned for five years back in 2003.
vac bans are forever though
