I felt actually ripped off, scammed when I was waiting for bad for Season 2 and they released 400 days with the tagline "play these new characters who will be introduced in Season 2, find out their backstory and get to know them".
Season 2 comes out and almost all of them barely have 10 lines between the 5 of them. Fricking scammed.

i don't understand why they didn't make these characters the cabin crew.
It was obvious everyone except Bonnie was only going to have cameos because Bonnie accepts and goes with no matter the choices.
In so fricking mad that of all the 400 days characters to really get focused in S2 it was FRICKING BONNIE THE WORST ONE where the frick is NATE
And to make it worse, Bonnie just fricking leaves because the writers had no idea what to do with her (or season 2 in general. The first game was lightning in a bottle and the sequel pissed all over it.
It was Lee taking the stash that triggered the bandits into attacking and killing the group, forcing them to leave and setting in motion the events that killed nearly everyone else.
Then again, they should've left long beforehand but Lilly was running the show unfortunately. Even though she was right about her paranoia, she was not a good leader by any means.
I love how Ben is just a total frick-up from beginning to end
His entire character is being a frick-up and even after they started shedding a sympathetic light on him be continued being a frick-up until being a frick-up got him killed
I cannot hate this character, he’s just pitiable enough to be likeable
I was so disappointed to see after all of my effort, after sympathizing him, it proved fruitless. I already heard about people not liking his character and I can see why many wouldn't be privy to keep him around but it made me think. Did the writers intend nothing else for him? Not even a hint of development beyond being a mess-up?

Quite realistic tbh, it reminds me of those dumb ass dead rising survivors
If you've never met a person like Ben in real life, I don't envy you. I've met enough Ben's to know that once they hit their 30's, they become dangerously smug and delusional. I used to work with one who was fatter than frick but had "le epic 150 IQ". he was a b***h and had rotten teeth, frick Ben
Doesn't she die pretty brutally? It's been years since I played season 2 but she freaks out when the group gets attacked and even if you try to help her she just freezes and only after you're forced to leave her does she get ripped apart pretty roughly.
Yes lol.
The first games didn't have much choices in the first place, but the last third one just doesn't give a frick about hiding it.
That's about the time the company went under because it fricked up so badly.
>The first games didn't have much choices in the first place,
It has plenty, but the ending of the first game is unavoidable. I liked how the second game had different endings tho
Btw, i never played parts 3 and 4. Im going to play them now on switch (currently at ep1 s2)
>but the last third one just doesn't give a frick about hiding it.
Do parts 3 and 4 have any meaningful choices or it's just a linear story with flavor text dialogue?
It's linear. I never played the last one, just the third.
It's okay, but like I said, really bad at hiding 'choice'. When you played the first one, you could legitimately think 'wow, I wonder if I could have defused Lily', but in the third one people who you saved just end up getting FInal Destination.
>but in the third one people who you saved just end up getting FInal Destination
Pretty sure 3 is the one where you can keep one of the determinates alive through to the end of the game. It's still pretty mediocre but at least that's something.

Nah, it's just the shitty family with the ugly roastie and the annoying kid who I wanted to shoot since he opened his mouth.
'Determinant' my ass. They live/die at the end and since we never see them again, it doesn't matter.

I was talking about the guy who you can choose to shoot in Episode 2 when he threatens Clem.
The first game had a much better illusion of choice. A lot of the major plot events happen regardless of what you pick, but most people didn’t care at the time since the writing and characters were still solid and the illusion seemed to have some effort put in making you feel like your choices mattered.
Season 2 and onwards didn’t even try. The endings you get in S2 specifically are completely disconnected from the choices you had made throughout the rest of the game.
>Kenny helping Ben without hesitation >Shooting him in the head with his only bullet since Ben was terrified of turning >Final goodbye resolution with Lee at the locked gates
If you didn't save Ben, you simply cucked yourself out of Kenny's kino arc.
Kenny drops down to pick the radio that fell down. Then he needs to gtfo because of some off-screen walkers. The scene seriously sucks, it's way better with the Ken finale kino: >Ke-Kenny, please! >*BANG*
>Christa falls down massive hole in roof they're walking on >Kenny jumps down, pushes her back up on the roof and silently walks into the darkness shooting at zombies >that's it
Kenny in a cartoon like manner randomly taps lee on the shoulder while they are looking over a hole in the roof, and because of that light tap lee manages to somehow drop the radio he is holding and christa goes down to get it, then Kenny jumps down to get christa up and he goes off screen and is not seen again.
Seems like they had an intern write that shit
I was pissed they brought Kenny back in S2 considering that was a good ending for him and they hilariously don't even bother coming up with a way he got out of there. >I got lucky. Real lucky.
Amazing writing 1000000/10
I was even more pissed with the ending of season 4. I thought Clementine really died. But no, because AJ, who is 6 years old did the following: >Amputated Clem's foot >Stopped the bleeding >Killed all the dozens of zombies around the building >Put Clem in a wheelbarrow and pushed her back home
That's more than a bit much. I didn't play after season 1, but I remember complaints of people putting all of the dangerous stuff on Clem's head despite her being a kid. To think AJ would become a cartoonish superman of a workhorse that does everything just right seems excessive even for that.
It should have been ben
Frick him for abandoning clementine. I understand him being a kid but still. I gave him the redemption he wanted by dropping his ass at the bell tower.
Too bad Javier couldn't get with him, stuck with Kate pushing herself onto him. Why establish Javier's into both men and women and not provide a different love interest?
He was probably the most well written minor character in the game simply because of how believable he was. Nothing he did was out of the norm for an awkward teenager that saw so much death. He was so believable that most people hated him because they knew someone like him.
Whatever he was, TWD would have been far less entertaining without him. His constant frickups being immense and immeasurable was astounding. It defies belief.
dude that would suck to be in a school gym in a zombie outbreak
B(ben)ump
Everyone who hates Ben fail to realize if shit really did go down they'd end up being exactly like him
People would either end up becoming Ben or losing their shit like Kenny there is no hope.
Thats too extreme to actually happen. Some people would end up like that, but most others will be of even temperament.
>most others will be of even temperament.
lol
lmao
They hated him..
Drop that sack of shit, Lee
You know you want to
Hey Ben
Seeya
Bengay
Benp
I like Ben.
Ben.
>No choice to throw him off the train
FRICKING TELLTALE
YOU GOT A FRIEND IN ME
Benicius Jr.
Ben is literally the embodiment of"#what one should really fear is not a competent enemy, but an incompetent ally"
Dropped his ass from that bell tower as soon as I could.
should have given him another chance
The anti-Ben.
Deserves all the punishment.
Gets off scott-free.
He won.
I look like this, and am named this.
Ben why did you give them the drugs Ben
So what I'm hearing is you're cute <3
Will they ever remake season 2 and give us the kino we deserve?
>these guys will be in season 2
>barely show up
Well Bonnie was certainly around.

What a punished, sinless, innocent character.
Better than Arvo
He was a frick up but he didn't deserve to die in that alley
Ben.

They made it a big choice whether you save her or not and then immediately kill her right after and there’s nothing you can do to prevent it
>Le anxiety disorders are all autism meme
>Is brutally ripped apart by Walkers
>Dies screaming and everything
>Nobody talks about it and she's forgotten moments later by everyone
she's cute and I'd date her
>Carver didn't kill her autistic ass despite his shtick being survival of the fittest
would have established him as an awesome villain from minute one
Carlos is a doctor, thats a valuable asset. You kill his daughter you basically lose a doctor
could have whacked her silently and chalked it up to a walker attack or something.
>Kenny helping Ben without hesitation

Is Clem the last Ganker approved brown girl?
Ben
Ben
So did they rip off The Last of Us?
really wish they would have had the balls to include an option to get that little shit killed
Hey Ben
BEN BEN BEN
What!
I'm a hushpuppy
I'm enjoying a treat, Derrick!
It should have been ben
Frick him for abandoning clementine. I understand him being a kid but still. I gave him the redemption he wanted by dropping his ass at the bell tower.
>Chuck
Such a waste...
frick’n sucks, man..
What a selfish b***h
>bring Lilly back
>she's just a generic bad guy that could have been literally anyone
I am not surprised that was the role she was delegated too. And knowing how she was at the season one, I would've suspected she could hold a grudge.
It kinda made sense tho. That act was pretty kino
>no one mentioned best WD character
ok here he is everyone, it's Jebus
no one gives a shit about characters from the Black person ass comic. WD season 1 is the only good WD work to ever exist.
Too bad Javier couldn't get with him, stuck with Kate pushing herself onto him. Why establish Javier's into both men and women and not provide a different love interest?
Remember, if you killed Kenny you're not only a gullible traitorous moron, but you lack basic human understanding and empathy
>inadvertently gets 3/4s of ur team killed
heh..nothin personal kid
I can't tell if Ben is really well written or the shittiest character ever
