With gaming ALWAYS use wired devices. I destroyed a wireless keyboard due to it constantly failing, despite constantly replacing batteries and the receiver being feet away.

in my mind before I bought that wireless mouse I wanted to avoid

      tugging on the wire
freedom of movement (like if i want to fap with one hand i can just switch over to my left hand instead of having to reach with my left)
not having to deal with snaking wires because sometimes they get jumbled together between headset, keyboard, and whatever i have plugged in the usb

Wireless devices will always be a meme as long as we have our current battery technology

I have a Steelseries keyboard that's coming up to like 15 years old. I think I've spilt tea on it a few times too. Still works great.

Asking /v for an opinion on peripherals is bad. No one here knows a thing about them, and the few who do get drowned out by the stupidity.

Sometimes you just get unlucky with tech. I have had a wireless G502 for five years now and it miraculously hasn't started double clicking yet.

I've been using a g603 for years now and need to recharge it like once every 3 months

if you really want another wireless (i only go wireless because i game in bed with a laptop) try this one
has nice settings, lets you get a software to reassign buttons, you can turn off the gaylights, and you can use it wired
only gripe with it is you have to charge it for wireless and you cant just through some AAs in there

I literally just sent back my DeathAdder v3 because the scroll wheel keeps skipping its painless and im getting a new one. If they keep breaking under a year keep sending it back you dont even really talk to a person outside the emails they send you, all automatic. They ask you to usually send a vid so record it on your phone, they give you a label, throw it in an old box and done.

It depends what type of games you game. Your mouse pad area/size. Your dpi. Wireless technology at the highest end is comparable to wired in button press end to end latency and just marginally behind it in mouse movement latency. With wireless you eliminate "cord drag" so it is much better for training muscle memory if you are gaming on a sufficiently large surface area using low dpi and using sweeping movements to flick aim. So you are trading theoretical reliability for removing cord drag or length limitations. A cord bungie set up properly is the only way I would even think of going back to a wired mouse and even them wireless feels much less restrictive and if you want you can use your wireless mouse wired as well.8nvv

Are they actually comparing a wired mouse at polling rate of 1KHz to a wireless mouse at a polling rate of 4KHz?
You do know that there are plenty of wired mice that go up to a polling rate of 8KHz?

They compare it right in the chart to wireless 1k up to 4k. Although there more trying to say there firmware optimization is better than other mice which helps with the lower latency.

Had a zowie fk2 for 4 years and it started double right clicking so I recently replaced it by an opi8k which has replaceable switches in case you start double clicking.
    I'd recommend both.
Of course they aren't wireless, I leave that to the trannies with a custom TKL keyboard.
