ill explain to you why vtsg is worse than paragons - its simply nowhere near as cost effective. in regular gameplay, the vtsg is the best tower in the game, bar none. in bosses, however, paragons all get massive damage multipliers that the vtsg doesnt. this makes them better dps options for less money. you dont even need good degree unless its a particularly hard week. paragons are always better. and because of this, you want to run ben or gerry to snowball your farming faster - though this would be true even if you were planning on doing a vtsg. farming is everything
i didnt use a vtsg for a single one of any of picrel except chutes vortex, iirc. its damage just isnt as good as paragons

>im arguing for geraldo for farming, not for paragons
And I'm telling you this isn't necessary if you know how to farm. The reason you use Geraldo is for better Paragons, not to go more than you already should be able to do with farming especially since Ben does that aspect strictly better. The only other thing is cooldown refreshes that are generally worthless lategame because of Paragon quirks. >youre just making shit up now to try and win the argument.

You can buff VTSG with Alchemist, Overcharge, Homeland, and Adora, with an essentially global pop uptime the whole time. The only real competition it has is with the Ace Paragon because the other ones lack the range to keep an uptime like that. I mentioned Ace as an exception if you cared to actually read the reply. Boat also works well for the second one, but it requires water on the maps to really be used so it's limited in that regard. Ninja requires smaller maps. Engineer requires you to micro the turrets in order to really be notable with actual burst because even a max boosted one isn't notable enough to surpass a boosted VTSG. There's zero reason not to always make use of one when farming should always allow one to have one. It's actually a skill issue if you can't get one up naturally.

Posting their limitations isn't complaining about their utilization. It's showing their shortcomings and their lack of universal use. The best part of course is when they get round to super monkey paragon, they'll just give vtsg the boss damage boost, so it'll be even better. It already costs over a million and demands every tier 5.
I was doing that but I think 6 is better. 5 is very make your own fun. You just run every track on easy med hard. 6 adds a lot of cool shit. they don't even have support for odyssey mode on ps4 anymore even though it is still there on TD5 on mobile. >heroes >every tower has new upgrade tracks >tons of synergizing ones that give you tons of cash >tier 5 >new enemy types
I think the best is every map has extra medals for shit like using only standard towers, or military towers, etc. Odyssey is more interesting now than it was in 5 and so on.
This must be my least-used tower by far
What is this guy even good for? >Bottom path is OK for MOABs I guess but I just stick to the tried-and-true MOAB mauler >Middle path just seems really weird and is only useful if you decide to go all-in on that strategy to spam ninjas >Top path is just weird and kinda plain
I really want to know some uses since I never found any
Top Path is arguably the best mid-game tower for it's relative price, aside from Destroyers but those are water only. You need Shinobi Spam to not get outclassed super late game but it's still good regardless. Bloon Sabotage is a global slow and can be vital for later waves, and if you're already stacking for top path then Master Bomber becomes just as busted, not to mention stacking makes getting a high degree paragon easier than most towers.
I started using Ninjas constantly after getting used to them through Magic Monkeys Only mode. Bottom path Ninja wrecks both MOABs and bosses. Sauda, bottom Ninja, top Alchemist and a farm carry you through the first half of rounds in regular game modes as well.
Theres lots of maps with simple easy medium hard and runs with modifiers for all of them and the normal daily challenges don't really require tons of meta.
I have never looked up a build guide in my life and have tons of fun just listening to the pops. I don't even have the xp on every tower maxed out yet so theres plenty to do before you need to get full austistic. Getting serious into this game is probably autistic but I don't think you really need to in order to challenge majority of the content.
late reply to the argument but yeah benjamin and geraldo are just straight up better for boss events
TSG/VTSG are nowhere near useless for boss events though, they're a nice bonus that can be the difference between losing or winning. both times i beat elite dreadbloon it was by 1-2 rounds and i dont think i would have done it without the regular TSG
theyre not useless, but they should be thought of as a 4th addition to 3 paragons. you always want to go 3 paragons first because they just do more damage, plain and simple. the vtsg not getting the multiplier cucks it, so its only ever really a consideration if youre farming extra extra hard because you know its a tough week. assuming youre playing optimally, that is. if you want to just go for one for the shits and giggles, fair enough
>cheap >lots of enemy types >a lot different towers >enviromental damage, mine carts, boulders etc. >Active traps like different types of bombs >Optional runes that make the level harder but also give you XP boosts so you can get more tower points faster >DW2 features more RPG elements with item unlocks, some randomized levels, skill trees and so on.
The only downside is that the music gets repetitive.

there are youtube guide for doing elite bosses with no knowledge
in short they all somewhat similar - build 1-2 tower to carry you to round 40 while spamming farms then sell farms and build 1 big tower to kill boss phase, after boss phase sell said big tower and rebuild farms, repeat it with each boss phase.
Do I need to link an email to transfer saves through the app?
I linked to my google play that's on both my android phone and new tablet, mainly play on the tablet these days after doing manual transfer from the phone. After linking I hit the cloud backup button on the tablet.
I updated the version on my phone so I can play in the go, but the save is still at like level 36. now I'm worried because I hit the backup button on here trying to find a way to download a cloud save. I'm hoping it doesn't go through unless you link an email to the app itself otherwise I just overwrite a bunch of progress.
>It goes on sale for less than a dollar regularly
I keep hearing that but according to SteamDB it hasn't gone bellow 1,7€ since at least March of 2021, maybe even longer since I'm to much of a paranoid schizo to log-in.
I haven't bought a game in a long time, but the price in Dollars and Euros is usually 1:1, which also includes the VAT. A game that was $15 was also 15€ here, and the VAT was taken out of that price.
>Religious Zealot >Also canonically the most traditionally femenine of the heroes
She's more likely to let herself get knocked up and trap you into wedlock, on your first time together
The tower placement of BTD6 is one of the biggest issues the game has. I should be able to know if I am able to fit a tower in whatever space easily. The way the game works currently, you need to guess and then fumble with the mouse to see if it is impossible or if there's a single solitary pixel where you can fit the tower.
And forgot to mention, in case it wasn't clear, but actually placing down a tower in a cramped space is ass too.
I was honestly relieved when they nerfed the 005 village and I stopped using it to farm during boss events.
A grid would be too limiting, just giving us a toggle to see what space is actually free would be good enough, some towers have bigger hitboxes than what you'd expect
And forgot to mention, in case it wasn't clear, but actually placing down a tower in a cramped space is ass too.
I was honestly relieved when they nerfed the 005 village and I stopped using it to farm during boss events.
Wouldn't it be hard to implement since they are different sizes? A helipad or a super monkey are gonna take up 3 times the space of a normal tower
They should implement some kind of "ghost" building mode akin to something like Factorio. Essentially you could pre-place towers you intend to use and then just confirm the purchase when you have enough money.
>get isekai'd to bloons world >small funny monkeys find you in the forest >oh my god a great ape >i thought those were just legends >he's almost completely nude, no fur at all >they take me to a temple and meet adora >she tells the monkeys to leave, she will question me personally >take off your pants, anon
Real question but in what scenario am i supposed to reliably use dartling gunners and aces? i always feel for the initial price and upgrade costs its far more effective and money efficient to go for other units.
Dartlings are best on paths with straight lines or zigzags where you can easily line it up. Late-game, Hydra Rocket Pods can be a strong supplement to any setup and the ability is functionally similar to a Blade Maelstrom.
Ace baseline is pretty damn bad and will leak constantly without supplemental damage/upgrades. Once you start getting tier 3s, Ace becomes very reliable. Bottom path is great for general clear, top for MOABs with decent clear, and middle for supporting damage.
I mostly only use the middle path dartling to deal with the tier 2 boss but as the other anon said it's great if you're willing to micro manage it.
Top path has good dps but it is expensive.
Ace is good for cheapt anti moab with the top path but I don't use it much myself. Middle is great if you know WHEN to use the ability but that is so annoying I never bother.
And spectre is the spectre.
Dartlings are for when you want to win the game. Aces are for when you want lower your fps quicker

Cheers, guess ill try and use dartling gunner for a few games and try and get a better feel for it

Agreed with other anon. Sauda carries most maps' early game due to good DPS, innate camo detection and nice panic abilities. Easy to use her to grind for the rest of heroes. Meanwhile Benjamin isn't that special on regular game modes, but he's practically mandatory for boss events.
CHIMPS and Boss levels are way too hard I just end up looking how to beat them online because otherwise I simply don't know what the meta actually is.
How am I supposed to know what monkeys are good and what is dealing most damage and how to maximize DPS by resources.
Once I have every monkey maxed out, it's very very hard to improve without some guide telling you what the meta is. Like beyond the basic gameplay of how bloons work and what hits what, it's just hard to figure shit out.
It doesn't help that the in game descriptions of all their abilities don't tell you everything they do. Sauda, for example, recently got a rework and shreds bloons that have multiple debuffs or damage over time on them but the game itself doesn't tell you that. It's all buried in the patch notes option which will inevitably be replaced by the next one's changes
Since when was this game $14
I could've sworn it was always 10 bucks.
I'm a dirty pirate but does buying the game actually get me anything good?
Can I transfer my save data or will I have to complete every map again?

I was planing on getting it during the next sale, but as long as its a dollar or two I'll still buy it.

They'll flag your account as a cheater
You will be able to still play the game normally for single player shit
But for the multiplayer aspects, you'll only be able to host matches. You won't be able to join someone else's game or do anything else related to multiplayer.
You can know if your account is flagged if there are two leaves in the options menu button like in this pic

Farm as much as you can until just before the boss round then sell farms to deal with whatever gimmick the boss has, resume farming when its dead or you're confident in your defence. Repeat until tier 5.

The best part of course is when they get round to super monkey paragon, they'll just give vtsg the boss damage boost, so it'll be even better. It already costs over a million and demands every tier 5.
Monkey girls / boys really are underrated
i do
Have been playing BTD5 on ps4. Judging by the screenshots I would say it's better than 6
I was doing that but I think 6 is better. 5 is very make your own fun. You just run every track on easy med hard. 6 adds a lot of cool shit. they don't even have support for odyssey mode on ps4 anymore even though it is still there on TD5 on mobile.
>heroes
>every tower has new upgrade tracks
>tons of synergizing ones that give you tons of cash
>tier 5
>new enemy types
I think the best is every map has extra medals for shit like using only standard towers, or military towers, etc. Odyssey is more interesting now than it was in 5 and so on.
Footholding monkey girls!
Post more sexy nonkey girls.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
This must be my least-used tower by far
What is this guy even good for?
>Bottom path is OK for MOABs I guess but I just stick to the tried-and-true MOAB mauler
>Middle path just seems really weird and is only useful if you decide to go all-in on that strategy to spam ninjas
>Top path is just weird and kinda plain
I really want to know some uses since I never found any
Dis homie doesn’t use ninja alch to carry him to past round 50
Top Path is arguably the best mid-game tower for it's relative price, aside from Destroyers but those are water only. You need Shinobi Spam to not get outclassed super late game but it's still good regardless. Bloon Sabotage is a global slow and can be vital for later waves, and if you're already stacking for top path then Master Bomber becomes just as busted, not to mention stacking makes getting a high degree paragon easier than most towers.
Ninja, Alchemist, and Adora covers all your bases and just lets you create a giant farm to lead you into endgame.
I've had Obyn and him solo me up to wave 23 in Half Cash at least once. His X02 a lifesaver
I started using Ninjas constantly after getting used to them through Magic Monkeys Only mode. Bottom path Ninja wrecks both MOABs and bosses. Sauda, bottom Ninja, top Alchemist and a farm carry you through the first half of rounds in regular game modes as well.
Top path is good value early game in chimps, depending on the map and whether you can get a hero right away
Is it as autistic as sseth said it was about correct build orders and chimps mode?
I have no idea who that is or what he said but probably not
Theres lots of maps with simple easy medium hard and runs with modifiers for all of them and the normal daily challenges don't really require tons of meta.
I have never looked up a build guide in my life and have tons of fun just listening to the pops. I don't even have the xp on every tower maxed out yet so theres plenty to do before you need to get full austistic. Getting serious into this game is probably autistic but I don't think you really need to in order to challenge majority of the content.
I never played Bloons before, but Monkey "Girls" are just too good
they always say "a cat is fine too", but what about a monkey
huh i guess they have said "a monkey is fine too"
lewding monkeys...
>
what are you implying anon?
Not so fast.
Why is there an emergency unlock for dartling gunner but not an emergency re-aim for these bastards
Something about dartling being more popular I'm guessing.
023 my beloved
late reply to the argument but yeah benjamin and geraldo are just straight up better for boss events
TSG/VTSG are nowhere near useless for boss events though, they're a nice bonus that can be the difference between losing or winning. both times i beat elite dreadbloon it was by 1-2 rounds and i dont think i would have done it without the regular TSG
theyre not useless, but they should be thought of as a 4th addition to 3 paragons. you always want to go 3 paragons first because they just do more damage, plain and simple. the vtsg not getting the multiplier cucks it, so its only ever really a consideration if youre farming extra extra hard because you know its a tough week. assuming youre playing optimally, that is. if you want to just go for one for the shits and giggles, fair enough
frick Bloons, I stumbled on Dungeon Warfare 1 & 2, got them on sale and they're some of the best tower defense games i've ever played.
>Dungeon Warfare 1 & 2
go on, tell me why I should play them
i fricked up the quote.
>cheap
>lots of enemy types
>a lot different towers
>enviromental damage, mine carts, boulders etc.
>Active traps like different types of bombs
>Optional runes that make the level harder but also give you XP boosts so you can get more tower points faster
>DW2 features more RPG elements with item unlocks, some randomized levels, skill trees and so on.
The only downside is that the music gets repetitive.
sounds good
I dunno how to exploit these for bosses. I'm guessing I need more monkey knowledge.
Spam them, Druids, and Merchantmen.
there are youtube guide for doing elite bosses with no knowledge
in short they all somewhat similar - build 1-2 tower to carry you to round 40 while spamming farms then sell farms and build 1 big tower to kill boss phase, after boss phase sell said big tower and rebuild farms, repeat it with each boss phase.
glue gunners, with or without suit?

WAKE ME UP
Do I need to link an email to transfer saves through the app?
I linked to my google play that's on both my android phone and new tablet, mainly play on the tablet these days after doing manual transfer from the phone. After linking I hit the cloud backup button on the tablet.
I updated the version on my phone so I can play in the go, but the save is still at like level 36. now I'm worried because I hit the backup button on here trying to find a way to download a cloud save. I'm hoping it doesn't go through unless you link an email to the app itself otherwise I just overwrite a bunch of progress.

Frick, why are these fricking monkeys so hot?
Should I spend 10 bucks on this TD6?
the way i see it, 1 buck for every hour.
this game will last you 100+ easily
I double dipped on my phone and steam and I really don't feel like I've wasted money.
It goes on sale for less than a dollar regularly
>It goes on sale for less than a dollar regularly
I keep hearing that but according to SteamDB it hasn't gone bellow 1,7€ since at least March of 2021, maybe even longer since I'm to much of a paranoid schizo to log-in.
doesn't that include VAT?
I haven't bought a game in a long time, but the price in Dollars and Euros is usually 1:1, which also includes the VAT. A game that was $15 was also 15€ here, and the VAT was taken out of that price.
You wouldn't a monkey, would you Ganker?
I will go balls deep in the clown monkey and I will be happy.
you already know the answer
Been like a years since i last played it, does the infinite monkey money hack/cheat still works?
Of course it does
you get marked as a cheater and can only play with other cheaters though. but that's about it
cool, guess i reinstall it and use the cheat, been playing it without it and got tired
adora will cleanse all the lust out of you

zig-zag maps...
home
>Map has a perfect spots for tack shooter
for me, it's this spot
>not the first loop
you can fit like three in there
bad td games
>tower placement restricted to grid
>enemies have health bars
good td games
>can place towers wherever the frick you want
>enemies die in one hit
The tower placement of BTD6 is one of the biggest issues the game has. I should be able to know if I am able to fit a tower in whatever space easily. The way the game works currently, you need to guess and then fumble with the mouse to see if it is impossible or if there's a single solitary pixel where you can fit the tower.
And forgot to mention, in case it wasn't clear, but actually placing down a tower in a cramped space is ass too.
I was honestly relieved when they nerfed the 005 village and I stopped using it to farm during boss events.
I really wish they gave you a grid or a green/red area toggle for that
A grid would be too limiting, just giving us a toggle to see what space is actually free would be good enough, some towers have bigger hitboxes than what you'd expect
Wouldn't it be hard to implement since they are different sizes? A helipad or a super monkey are gonna take up 3 times the space of a normal tower
They should implement some kind of "ghost" building mode akin to something like Factorio. Essentially you could pre-place towers you intend to use and then just confirm the purchase when you have enough money.
>get isekai'd to bloons world
>small funny monkeys find you in the forest
>oh my god a great ape
>i thought those were just legends
>he's almost completely nude, no fur at all
>they take me to a temple and meet adora
>she tells the monkeys to leave, she will question me personally
>take off your pants, anon
Even if Adora was their leader, they'd probably take you to Churchill for questioning instead of compromising her safety.
i'll meet you halfway and settle for boat lady
I'll allow that only if they found you in the water instead of a forest.
I'm too dumb to clear even regular bosses, what do?
I mean, besides farming like a madman.
Real question but in what scenario am i supposed to reliably use dartling gunners and aces? i always feel for the initial price and upgrade costs its far more effective and money efficient to go for other units.
Dartling you use if you're willing to micro manage it. It's amazing in open maps and can tear through a lot of things.
Dartlings are for when you want to win the game. Aces are for when you want lower your fps quicker
Cheers, guess ill try and use dartling gunner for a few games and try and get a better feel for it
I lock it on any map with a big straight way especially if there's one at the spawn, nothing even gets through until the moabs start coming.
Since monkey's are our genetic brothers who aren't as smart as us, does that mean being into ape furries is like being into the mentally moronic?
chos
which monkey do you think has the fattest fricking nuts

Who should I unlock next after Adora?
Who haven't you unlocked?
Just Adora. She carried me through Deflation maps and this latest Odyssey.
Sauda or Benjamin since they're so good
Agreed with other anon.
Are you me? I only do easy/med/some hard maps.
Never do bosses or chimps.
It doesn't help that the in game descriptions of all their abilities don't tell you everything they do. Sauda, for example, recently got a rework and shreds bloons that have multiple debuffs or damage over time on them but the game itself doesn't tell you that. It's all buried in the patch notes option which will inevitably be replaced by the next one's changes
this might be the only game ever i buy with my dick
Since when was this game $14
I could've sworn it was always 10 bucks.
I'm a dirty pirate but does buying the game actually get me anything good?
Can I transfer my save data or will I have to complete every map again?
bruh
you can see bump yourself
>why price hike?
because frick you, that's why
Thats moronic
I was planing on getting it during the next sale, but as long as its a dollar or two I'll still buy it.
One more thing if I just hack the game and give myself everything instead of grinding it all over again will they ban me?
They'll flag your account as a cheater
You will be able to still play the game normally for single player shit
But for the multiplayer aspects, you'll only be able to host matches. You won't be able to join someone else's game or do anything else related to multiplayer.
You can know if your account is flagged if there are two leaves in the options menu button like in this pic
Okay, I don't care about multiplayer anyways. I was just worried they've gone full israelite and prevented you from playing a game that you bought.
They raised the price relatively recently, I think a few weeks ago?
If you use a ninja kiwi account I assume it is easily transferable, otherwise I have no idea
If Quincy is the son of Quincy did he clone himself or does that just mean his dad was too lazy to even add a "jr" to his son's name?
It means his family is doing the perpetual X, Son of X joke
What are the general strategy in normal boss and elite boss? Sometimes I don't even know what I am doing and I always ends up in tier 2.
Farm as much as you can until just before the boss round then sell farms to deal with whatever gimmick the boss has, resume farming when its dead or you're confident in your defence. Repeat until tier 5.
Elite is just annoying to trial and error without a guide so I don't always do them
