I've basically been sitting on my ass all day (12-16h) every day for the last 15 years. Skill issue.

    >invest in a quality chair with good back support(an actual office chair, not a meme gaymen chair)
    >lumbar support pillow
    >standing desk because your fat ass shouldn’t be sitting down all day anyway

You're either too fat and unhealthy or you have an awful mattress. Even if you were sitting in a wooden stool all day you shouldn't be getting back pain.

Frequently change your position so you're not siting in one posture too long. Even if you're sitting with "perfect" ergo, it can frick you up if you're just sitting like that for hours.

Take breaks where you completely stop, stand up and walk around and fricking stretch to get blood into your muscles and shit. Also do some RSI stretches/excercises while you do this. Look out windows and change your focus distance and do some basic eye exercises so your eyes don't deteriorate so bad.

Get a decent office chair. Gamer chairs might be better than those cheapass chinesium "executive chairs", but they're still only good for like 2-3 hours before they're gonna start fricking you up.

People in their 20s are gonna come in here and shit on all this as a waste of money or "weakness", but all the guys I know who didn't take care of themselves in their 20s and early 30s are seriously fricking regretting it now. Ignore the damage long enough and it becomes something you can't fix without seriously expensive medical intervention.

I started exercising for first time in years because it.
But the back pains are just one problem, my biggest 33 year old boomer problem is that I must maintain my sleeping schedule or several days will get ruined by being tired all the time so no more allnighters or release night gaming in general.

Literally just work out your back, make it stronger. Poor posture just means that your back muscles are weak as frick. The chair meme recs ITT are useless if you dont fix the underlying problem

My back has been fortified by physical work and getting hurt worse than a sitting injury.
Now it either doesn't hurt or it's just so slight a pain that I don't even notice

    Honestly:
    >paid out for a Secret Lab chair, make sure it's the right height
    >make sure my core muscles are strong; gym exercises, skating, making sure I walk a lot
    >if I can't exercise for whatever reason, I make sure to not sit for a long time uninterrupted. So get up to do some light housework a bit at a time
