I used to say "It's Blizzard! They never made a bad game!". Then they focused on WoW and ran that into the ground, made D3, shat the bed with SC2. They are dead to me.
And besides, it's not even the same company anymore. When it was about Cosby Roo and dudebro atmosphere, they made good games. Now it's all sunshine and rainbows, desperately trying to appease people who don't play videogames: moneybags, women and gays.
After WoW launched, Mike Morhaime spoke to the dev team and said "our game has so many players, we've had to buy new servers and hire lots of support staff, so there's no money left for bonuses for you". This was a company so tight-fisted they still made devs use CRT monitors for years after everyone else switched to LCD panels. They only ended up switching because it saved on AC costs. Anyway, getting no bonus even though you made the most successful PC game of all time made most of the WoW team quit (to go make Wildstar, Firefall, etc.). So if it seems like Blizzard went downhill after WoW launched, now you know why.

They didn't even add any raids to the game until Tigole hacked one together right before shipping. That simply wasn't the point of the game.
