I'm unsure how they work and googling it is giving conflicting information.
If I get hit for 4 damage (-1 protected by armor) and it reduces me exactly to zero do I count it as 4 on the scars table or 3 for the actual damage done to me?
Would I then give myself a 3 or 4 scar from the table or do I roll a D12 to see which scar I get?
I'm still new to all of this and would appreciate the help.
dude, just whatever.
decide yourself and go with it. it is a rules light narrative focused game, not Shadowrun 6e
Thanks bro
I think it's 3
I don't see why they don't come out with an explanation to clarify it.

Its a rules lite grift so bullshit they didn't know how their own game worked.
Work in progress 2nd edition clarifies it, it is based on amount of HP you actually lost.
Public playtest version of 2E was released in July.
