I don't know if you can do all of Arthur stranger quests as John, but leaving the last part of the Veterans quest for John is absolute kino. You shouldn't even have the option of completing it as Arthur, it's so much better when do it later
If you do it later as John you get to talk about how Arthur is DEAD and it puts a nice little twist on the end of the quest considering what happens to the veteran himself during it.
I don't know of any other quests that do that. John also gets his own stranger missions too ya know as well. The epilogue is actually the best part of the game.
I love both games but I'll never understand this
The crimes and hunting you can do in free roam alone in 2 makes it the better game for me. 1 didn't have enough criminal stuff, you felt more life a lawman
I know, I've put countless hours into many playthroughs
I'm saying that's why I like the free roam in 2 more, more criminal stuff without feeling weird doing it story-wise like it was in 1
Zoomers here have no idea what you’re talking about and it’s a shame.
Post your idea for RDR3
Including: >time period >location >who you play as >their motivation >where did they come from >where do they go
Obliterate any reference to John or Arthur and make an original story with new characters. I know this is too much to ask. Cotton-eye Joe as protagonist of course.
Liberty City is just NY
There needs to be an expansive map with a country side connecting at least 3 large cities separated in different directions with smaller towns dotting the way in between. Each city has its own gangs and territories run by different crews.
It kinda bothered me in a weird way that we have all these made up names for places but then they will just say New York or the like. So all the cities and regions are renamed but all the states are the same. Seems weird to me for some reason.
>Time Period
Viking era when Leif Erikson showed up in America. >Location
"Vinland" >who you play as
Erik's sailor >motivation
fuck all the natives >where did they cone from
yurop >where do they go
Conquer and get friendly with the natives and die.
>non-western game in a western franchise
For what purpose?

RDR1's map expanded to include more of Mexico, a stand in for Mexico City or Veracruz would be this game's San Denis. Mexico is great because it was still the lawless wild west well into the 20s. >who you play as
Jack Marston >their motivation
escaping the FIB after he sought revenge for John Marston's death >where did they come from
Jack would be wanted Dead or Alive in New Austin and Blackwater but you'd still be able to commit crimes and do missions there, you just wouldn't be able to walk up to lawmen without being shot at. >where do they go
He gets involved with the Mexican revolution like his father did back in 1911, the newspaper in RDR1 says that Reyes became a tyrant and there was revolts against him. A good intro would be Jack getting captured by the expedition that the US army sent into Mexico but escaping after bandits/rebels attack them.
A younger Hosea would actually be a good character to play as because he's more morally ambiguous. I've seen a lot of people say that Landon Ricketts would be fun to play as for a old west prequel but he's a good guy and a low honor playthrough would be out of character for him.
I like 2 a lot more than 1. They both have technical issues, but RDR has a lot of the same problems that made GTA4 annoying to play IMO and RDR2's map is absurdly ambitious and immersive as shallow as it often is.
2 is also playable on PC with mouse aim which is a point for me personally because I want to do the gunslinging myself in a cowboy game
John
Arthur
Micah
Micah was badass. Only redditors hate him.
Red dead 3 should be sci fi. Cyborg horses and lazer revolvers
I want to make a save at the start of the epilogue and leave every bit of side activity for John, I think it might be a better game
I don't know if you can do all of Arthur stranger quests as John, but leaving the last part of the Veterans quest for John is absolute kino. You shouldn't even have the option of completing it as Arthur, it's so much better when do it later
whats the difference? i never eve made it to the john section or did that quest
I left the bounty hunting, gold bars, challenges, and hunting requests for John.
Arthur is the better character but RDR is more fun to play
I love both games but I'll never understand this

>you felt more life a lawman
For all intents and purposes John IS a lawman in RDR1. The whole first half of the game is working with the Marshal
I know, I've put countless hours into many playthroughs
I'm saying that's why I like the free roam in 2 more, more criminal stuff without feeling weird doing it story-wise like it was in 1
I play RDR1 with low honor just for the voice lines and the dark horse.
Literally the opposite
Half right. John is the better character and RDR is the better game.
>misery porn
versus
>misery porn on steroids
damn, real tough decision here
they're both dead. i don't care. life sucks OOOOOOOO who fucking give a shit
John I guess, I loved every second of Redemption, but gave up after a year long slog of boredom once I got to Saint Dennis on RDR2
I like Arthur as an individual character more simply because he has a more defined character arc tied together with his tragic redemption.
But I like John's story for feeling like the tighter more consistent experience.
You will never hear the song entering Mexico for the first time ever again
Zoomers here have no idea what you’re talking about and it’s a shame.

The one that's not a homosexual

Uncle's childhood
San Andreas
Uncle
Convince everyone you meet that you are the brother or cousin of either their father or mother
-Has absolutely nothing to do with the story of the previous games whatsoever.
-Takes place in the 1920s prohibition era in a Chicago, NY, Atlantic City NJ inspired map
>prohibition era in a Chicago, NY, Atlantic City NJ inspired map
So prohibition era Liberty City
Liberty City is just NY
There needs to be an expansive map with a country side connecting at least 3 large cities separated in different directions with smaller towns dotting the way in between. Each city has its own gangs and territories run by different crews.
Like GTA San Andreas?
More like Mafia 2002 with RDR2 detailed map
It kinda bothered me in a weird way that we have all these made up names for places but then they will just say New York or the like. So all the cities and regions are renamed but all the states are the same. Seems weird to me for some reason.

>Russia
>Jack Marston
>maybe joined American Expeditionary Force to get away from US after killing Ross
>USA
>somewhere
heh bcuz red
>Red Dead
>you kill commies
It would really add some meaning into title.
all i want is a wanted and honor system that actually works, and a bunch of outlaw shit
Too bad the game wasn’t fun
Josea
I want a prequel where it is the actual wild west where you play as him
A younger Hosea would actually be a good character to play as because he's more morally ambiguous. I've seen a lot of people say that Landon Ricketts would be fun to play as for a old west prequel but he's a good guy and a low honor playthrough would be out of character for him.
I want to be Arthur's father and ignore and beat him
Cormano
Neither.
Boredom: evaded.
Both, which we got in RDR2
>Maybe when your mothers done cucking your father, I'll film her in BLACKED, on your behalf!
>You just think on that, yt boi!
He wouldn't have beaten Mr. Downes if he was Black. The game would've made you give him money.

entire second game should have been Marston
Beat the game 100% rn. Feels good.
I choose my RDO OC
not gonna install the game again to take a picture, it's boring as fuck lmao
My OC could beat up your OC
1
Right: Arthur Morgan
John from RDR. Shame Rockstar never made a sequel but I suppose it’s for the best.
at least make a poll then, retard
