Did garchomp suddenly go bad? Sand force and sand storm combo was banned in smogon when chomp was rampant in OU.
Nah it's still great and one of the few pokemon with rough skin or an equivalent which is actually a pretty big boon with shit like Maushold running around(at least until Ferrothorn comes back).
Maushold needs to be banned. 200 power 90% acc move with stab/multi hit. What were they thinking?!?
It's stupid but it'd be hard countered by ferrothorn so hard it's not even funny so I don't think they'll ban it.
Tyranitar obviously, any other pick is low energy.

He used to be really good, but fell off after gen 7.
metagross fell off because of speed creep + steel nerfs. that was fine for a while because it had a broken mega, but then megas got taken away in gen 8 because gamefreak hates fun
Metagross had a stint of being meta in Gen 8 with self proc weakness policy strats, but he's not in gen 9
1 is gay looking 2 looks like a bush or 3 and 4 are worth taking
Tyranitar is my favorite, but Garchomp is probably on average the best pseudo. Speaks volumes that they won't give it dragon dance because it would be too bullshit.

metagross reigns supreme. T-tar is cool too but has a 4x weakness to fighting and is very slow.
What is the newest pseudo
Baxcalibur. It's actually pretty good, and serves as a neat Godzilla reference to boot. Its signature move even recreates that silly scene where Godzilla flies around using his atomic breath.
Dragonite wasn't even considered that good in Gen 1 meta because of Blizzard being a 90% chance to hit and being able to be learned by just about anything, especially normal types. It's main gimmick was wrap spam of all things, which has a lower chance of hitting than blizzard anyways.
They're all pretty great but for me it's Tyranitar.

In singles, can use Band, Specs, Dragon Dance, or Defensive sets, in addition to being able to run mixed coverage due to how hard it hits uninvested.
Design wise, looks like a dragon and not some derpy shit like Dragonite. Absolute badass, unironically best or second best pseudo design battling with Metagross. I like TTar and Kommo-o, bit gen three was peak for Pokemon designs.

Hydreigon is better than almost all of those mfers tho.
Hydrogen is one of the mons that was really sad when fairies were introduced. Hasn't been the same since, even if it's still objectively good.
Gen 6 was a mistake that has irreparably damaged the Pokemon series. Fairies should never have happened.

Dragons needed a nerf but fairies being the new OP type instead wasn't a good compromise, don't even pretend it is. Fairies just flat out don't have enough weaknesses, should've been weak to bug instead of resisting it.
