Considering it doesn’t tell you which side up it goes in yeah, it’s a design oversight. Luckily I inserted Demon’s Souls right the first time. Probably just spits out the disc anyway though if inserted wrong.

The issue is that it’s not immediately obvious which side is "up" on the PS5
Probably because it’s almost always portrayed in marketing in a vertical orientation, as well as the symmetry of the digital edition further confusing things
I think some minor aesthetic changes, like actual feet on the bottom of the system, could have gone a long way towards fixing this -

i was pretty baffled it went the way it does. its annoying as gently caress to put in.
i was lucky enough to be awake aus time when it went up and got a launch preorder. tbh i should’ve unopened sold for x2 the price and not used it.
