PS5 has no appeal since it has hardly any games and costs an arm and a leg. Switch has a lot of games even if a lot of them are ports from wiiu that nobody owned. Switch is also pretty cheap. PS5 will see better sales once it has games people want to play.

what they’re censoring is largely fanservice content in anime games. iirc there are a few games that don’t FOCUS on it that still got hit by it because they have it.
personally, idc if it’s coom content or not, the problem is they’re not doing it to western games. if they want to be puritanical like nintendo was in the 90s and 2000s, i don’t care, what i care is that they’re being hypocrites and shaming japan while giving the west a free pass.

quick google tells me tales of arise got hit by it. the tales games aren’t really fanservice games, they just have some in it. idk, i don’t keep track personally, i just remember seeing like half a dozen instances of it on Ganker over the past year or two. i’m sure there’s a list out there somewhere. it’s more about the principle for me.

I just looked that. Apparently it was just a rumor before release, then Bamco denied it. I don’t see any examples of it anywhere.

Japan is a handheld gaming country. People in the countryside don’t have much money to afford more than a switch and people in the city have tiny apartments which barely fits TVs and is also a reason most families only have one shared TV.
Choosing a handheld for those kinds of people is a no brainer. -
