It kills me how Fable 2 is still stuck on the 360.
The game is a step back in a few ways compared to 1, but it’s also just overall more fun I think.-
It’s on the Game Pass (the cloud thingy), and you can even play it on your phone with touch controls.

I enjoyed parts of 2 but there was a lot I hated
1 still remains my fave but that too had issues.
I just want to he a hero in the guild taking quest cards and boasts helping or hindering people. it’s that simple. also property ownership is number 1

The best thing this up and coming reboot/sequel can do is take the radiant quest system from Bethesda’s modern games but go all in on RNG modifiers. Changing not only the objective and location, but stuff like enemy types, what equipment is allowed for extra fame etc.
The worst part of every Fable game is that the story ending is effectively it, that’s the game done with. You’ll get maybe 4-5 bonus quests to round the whole thing out, but there’s fuck all to do afterwards.

To this day, I don’t know if I loved or hated Fable II.
The story was a shittier retread of the first game, there was the lack of cool looking armor outside of the Knothole Glade DLC, and Reaver deserved a fucking buckshot makeover, but it had a lot of solid moments.

but X months/years later i went back while achievement hunting and it really grew on me to the point where its fair to say i love it

It runs at 4k on SeX and yes it’s worth playing , game is much prettier than 3 in terms of environments and foliage, better music, better plot I would say. Only downside is the controls are kinda… Slippery

I’ve probably played through the first game like 10 times, twice on anniversary edition.
The amount of sheer soul that game has is incomparable to the other two games.

3 is probably the least liked game in the series, so if you enjoyed that one, you’ll probably really like the other two as well. You should definitely try them, it’s one of my favorite series despite its flaws.

Your news is bad, it enhances games but only up to 1440p, not to 4K. This misinformation spread from the fact that it wouldn’t run Xbox One X enhanced 360 games – as the Xbox one X enchanced them to 4K, and SeS doesn’t output 4K.

Series S does output 4K. It just has less resource than the One X in some respects so can’t run One X code as a rule. I’m sure in many instances it would be able to run the One X enhanced versions and output them at 4K, but it would require testing and maybe tweaking from the back compat team.
