GuestYes! You pay ~$5 for an hour of entertainment. Similar to going to the movies.

Guestthat website is total bullshit. i submitted few of my 300 hour runs there and the average time hasn’t changed.
which means they’re either making it all up or censoring heavily-

GuestOne run to 100% is not completionist. You need to do a run in normal mode and in hard mode under 4 hours to unlock gallery images.
Plus the game doesn’t count each time you die and retry. -

Guestyou haven’t unlocked all images, you need a sub 4 hour normal run, a sub 4 hour hard mode AND a 100% hard mode file.

Guest>100% hard mode file
You don’t need to that to get all the unlockables. You just need 100% on any difficulty as well as the other things you mentioned.

GuestYeah sure!
Ps2 era games almost never broke the 8 hour, with most games at about 5 to 7 hours max. People look fondly back to that era because of that.
5 to 10 hours means it’s a focused experience with almost no bloat.-

Guest>PS2 Era fans almost never broke the 8 hour.
What the fuck are you talking about?
PS2 was a fantastic time for JRPGs, which universally broke the 8 hour mark. It’s a child’s way of thinking. I thought that way when I was a child, too.

Just play MMOs or other online only games when that is your concern. -

GuestWhere the fuck are they getting these numbers? My first run took 13 hours for 100% items (without using a guide, some of those Shinespark puzzles legit took me like half an hour to figure out).
But then you unlock hard mode and with ending rewards there’s a ton of replay value. Is that counted in the time? Because unless you go in knowing every single secret and where to go there’s no way completionist (beating both normal AND hard mode with 100% items) takes only 12 hours. Also, why is everyone so fucking obsessed with the time for this game? Literally every single Resident Evil game can be beaten in less than 5 hours and nobody complains about that because of replay value. Metroid is no different.

GuestPeople usually just write their first walkthrough. Even in completionist.
Actually you can open and read every single entry. Some of them with comments like "70% of items", "100% items, normal + hard". Also don’t be confused with % number. For some reason it’s how people rated the game. 70% = 7/10 etc, You can change it if you have accoun.t -

GuestReplay value is a pointless sentiment. Some autists can be play the most boring shit hundreds of times. Most people are satisfied with one playtrough. Complete means seeing and unlocking everything the game has to offer.
Also modern nintendo games have awful replay value to be honest.

Guest>Length of game means better game me like big numbers
I’d take a great 10 hour game over a mediocre 20 hour game
Almost every single game I’ve played that takes ages to play has played its chips within the first 2 hours and is just dragging shit out with repetition -

GuestI’ve already finished it twice (and now wanna get into sequence breaking) so it’s lasted me longer than HLTB puts that bloated mess Far Cry 6. I’ll probably end up spending more time with it than Ghost of Tsushima (which I adored). So, yeah, the sticker price was worth it.

GuestHow long does Hollow Knight take?
It’s 1/3rd of the price nd looks way better. It is the gold standard of the genre others have to measure up to.
t. doesn’t even like Hollow Knight that much but aknowledges the huge quality-

GuestReddit Knight has no quality, the gameplay and level design are extremely dull and uncreative. All it has is quantity, which is why mindless consoomers love it, because to them games are just another form of fast food and their only concern is filling up their bucket with as much low-grade slop as possible.
