Based. Linux is for servers, not gaming. Try running your Nvidia graphics card on Ubuntu, it won’t work. Try updating your OS, it will brick your system unless you’re experienced enough with coding to repair a broken MBR. A lot of PC gamers have Nvidia cards so its really not that surprising that they’d have slightly sub-par experiences on GNU/Linux and choose to allow Microsoft to have complete control of their machine.
What’s more surprising is that there’s still people with AMD graphics cards that use Windows. WTF.

In the 90s maybe. Windows is only 30% of personal computing devices, and even in the desktop niche they’ve carved out they’re barely 80%.
Even Steam which is a self selected group of PC gamers GNU/Linux is over 1%, and that number jumps up significantly when fake accounts from China are excluded, and then again when you filter for people who actually use Steam and own more than 100 games. -

If you had to fix fucked up boomer pc networks all day long for satellite architect and engineer offices that have all kinds of convoluted network topology and rolled up installations from vista, you’d know just how bad an installation can get. i tried pop os, it sucked, ran slower than windows 10, shit was constantly breaking, the alternative programs were crap, a lot of my favorite obscure games wouldnt work no matter what i tried, and it just generally felt like crap to use -

The worst thing is that it is completely possible to port FOSS under permissive licenses to consoles. And that copyleft is not an obstacle for things that are not making it to consoles, like compilers, and things like Blender.
