Would I like the game if I thought Xenoblade 1 was a boring overrated mess?-
Xenoblade 2 is one of the worst games on the Switch, and I use the term "game" lightly. It’s as much of a cinematic experience as Uncharted or TLOU, only they attempt to pad the gametime with dialogue boxes and exposition. even the combat is cinematic and boils down to pressing x in a 16 second quick time event.

It’s shit. Maybe if you only do the story and focus on the background of the plot you might like it, but the foreground of the plot is very cringey, and trying to 100% the game would make it one of your most hated games.
If not for how cute she looks everyone would hate this bitch. -
XC2 is great, but it plays distinctly differently to XC1 and XCX. It’s slow starting, but once you have access to everything and take the time to learn the system, it’s a lot of fun and you can pull some nutty things.
It also flows differently in terms of quality of the story and intensity. It has more obvious lighthearted moments but they don’t detract from the serious stuff. -
