Lorgar was plenty competent, just has a worship kink. Word Bearer’s are also well ordered. Alpha Legion seems to have a well ordered structure as well, but their KGB/black ops nature makes it hard to tell what the fuck they’re up to so who the fuck knows if they are actually accomplishing their goals.

I can believe that, but his whole plan seems way too convoluted if his goal was only to make money. All he would’ve had to do is assassinate the president and hire a couple of companies worth of PMCs, the giant metal gear and child soldier brain thing are complete overkill for that.

I think she didn’t know what to do with it and lost motivation. Everything outside Melon’s backstory felt forced and the drawing quality dipped after the chimera shit. Covid-uncertainty was around then at full swing too, so I guess some sort of depression or anxiety could play into it.

To be fair, most people would probably be pretty susceptible to any offer or peaceful subservience after seeing countless visions of what happened to the Protheans for resisting. Especially considering that the Protheans were ridiculously more advanced than any of the modern Citadel races, and still didn’t stand a chance.

unironically, Letho. One of many narrativ disappointment of witcher trilogy is showing not only Gealt lack but interest interest into creating more witcher (it especially get schizophrenic with fans and game starts creaming their pants about the idea of Ciri becoming witcher when the point of both books and games is that being witcher fucking sucks ass and how harder and harder is justifying their existence and cost for their creation.) W1 main antagonist is basically doing what witchers did in their pass. In w3 Yen even rediscovers grass trials and its never brought back again. Letho is our only conection to someone who not only wanted to recreated the witcher school but showed what he is willing to do for it and the cost he would and could pay for it (getting killed by Geralt or being betrayed and discarded by Emhyr.) In a way, the witchers are for readers what are dragons are for the witcher world. Too dangerous to exist but without them the world would lost its spark.

No, he was a hypocrite who really just wanted absolute control and authority over all things. While he praised the shit out of Fontaine when he first arrived and began his rise, but once he rivaled Ryan, nothing mattered anymore besides making sure he remained on top which is why he brought in the death sentence via public execution or even taking and nationalizing Fontaine’s businesses which was the very thing Ryan sought to escape from on the surface.

Adrian Vauclair. He’s probably the best "villain" in the games that I have played so far.

Of those characters, I guess Hilda. The Dark World is pretty shit and if you KNEW there was a mirror universe that basically the same as yours but with a magical macguffin that made things good, and that you could just go there and fucking take it, you’d try and do it too. That’s like not even an issue of morality that’s just common sense, especially if you’re supposed to be ruling the place.

"I just want to go home" is a really simple and sympathetic motivation tbh. There was so much just-according-to-plan wheels within wheels with the Ascians up until that point that I think what makes Emet work so well is ultimately how basic and human his end goal is.

During my first playthrough, i endure the shit gameplay hoping just to finish it, then upon reaching the end what he said made lots of sense and i turned around killing all the mercenaries. What a fucking twist, then i realize the only good part of FC2 was the environment details, gun mechanics and the final moments.
