Turns out Valve was the real brains behind Left 4 Dead.
Turtle Rock basically took all of the shit Valve made them remove from Left 4 Dead to make it playable and added it to Back 4 Blood, on top of a bunch of other nonsense gameplay choices that make it unplayable.

Piece of shit forces an entire team out of a game in PVP if anyone leaves for whatever reason, and has no on-the-go matchmaking.
With only PVE being somewhat worth a shit, it’s at best worth $20.-
