The other "bad" ending where Yuna calls for Tidus in the spirit place and gets nothing is the proper ending. In FFX? Lol no. If you can beat Yunalesca you can beat the remaining 10% of the game. Literally the random encounter marlboros in the final dungeon are more dangerous than the final bosses.

Yunalesca was way easier than Braska’s final aeon.
The final boss has so much health, deals so much damage and beats you with attrition if you don’t have enough damage to deal with his stuff. It’s the point where the game tells you to go back and fetch aeons and celestial weapons unless you cheese it.-
just slap some strength spheres on yuna and then get anima.

Never saw the ending of FFX because I couldn’t be bothered to go grind in order to beat the last boss.
Letting you get all the way through the final dungeon, kill the other bosses in the final dungeon, watch the cutscenes leading up the final boss where the characters talk about how the game is literally just about to end, and THEN hitting you with the massive brick wall bossfight who you need to either go look up how to get the broken OP super weapons or grind fucktons more sphere levels in order to beat was so insanely stupid.
Give the final area a consistent level of challenge so I don’t have my immersion in the story cut off by needing to backtrack all the way back through the final dungeon and then go back out into the world and do more exploring, even though we are supposedly moments away from Jecht/Sin going haywire and killing everything.

No I’m talking about Braska’s Final Faggot Aeon. I had no trouble against any other boss fight including Yunalesca and Seymour Omnis, but on each of my three attempts at the last boss it took me around 20 minutes to get through phase 1, and then he would kill me almost immediately in phase 2 with the sword swing which does 3k damage to all party members. There is no way to beat that boss if you’re just playing through the story without doing side content or grinding. My party were all at the end of their paths of the sphere grid, with a couple of them just starting to enter other characters’ paths.

Uhmm listen buddy just go farm the celestial weapons, all of them they’re scattered somewhere in Spira. Then you need the crests to buff them and finally all the sigils just look up a guide.
Then you gotta go and beat these other bosses that are harder to get more aeons so you can spend two hours stocking up on all of their overdrives.
Then you have to walk underneath the chocobo wagon during week #3 of any month after you’ve completed all the races and blitzball events where you get 99 of this item that you can combine with another item using Rikku’s mix that’ll make everyone deal 9999 damage but only if you don’t grind out damage break limit (just fill out all the spheres on the tree too)-
you don’t even need to do any of that. just get anima, it’s that fucking easy.

Looking at stories from an outsider perspective like such: "the author intends for me to feel THIS way", seriously ruins my experience if I’m seeking to enjoy my time spent, as opposed to analytically reading for school or work.
Even if it was clear from the beginning what Omori’s themes would explore, I found there were many strong moments that swept me up by the legs. As would any good story that gets the readers invested.

I thought Snake and Eva actually had a good relationship. When she’s bleeding to death and you’re carrying her through the woods with the GRU hunting you down, you were basically rooting for them to make it and be together. Lo and behold, she’s actually playing you the whole time and runs off with the microchip at the end. Kind of redpilling on women, kek.
And how often do you see this in the media? Women being serpents? And not just the bad guy, I mean the heroic good guy who saves the world ends up getting played like a chump. Feels, bros. Feels.
