I miss TB. He was as flawed as anyone, but he always stood up for the consumers, he was a large (possibly the largest) reason why review disclosure has improved so much in recent years.
You guys don’t remember it used to be shit like Destructoid saying “We don’t need to say that the guy who made this game was roommates of the person reviewing it, you should know that by following us!” TB was far above best practice for all that shit, he railed against deception, against people hiding that their YT content was sponsored, all the shit that used to be Wild West before any consumer groups caught up.

I never knew the whole details (was no longer living with my parents by then) but at the time my parents had a huge argument and my father ended up throwing a bunch of old boxes, the Game boy was in one of those boxes.
