when a character is very overly sexualized and being sexy is her only characteristic it does make me feel uncomfortable. not because I care about how you ladies feel but because I feel kinda gross knowing that this is how the devs treat me as the player. As if I’m some dopamine addicted coomer who has to be aroused at any moment in order to enjoy anything and the game is doing me a favor by catering to that need. I think if I game is self aware enough, sexiness can be a cool aesthetic choice and it doesn’t bother me much but it’s still a guilty pleasure, like I wouldn’t tell people that this is what I enjoy on my free time because they would rightfully think I’m a pervert.
