If anything hiring a vtuber would be more expensive since youre also bringing in name recognition.
professional VAs already have a reputation for voice acting. vtubers have a reputation for vtubing and streaming. even if they were the best streamers in the industry, that doesn’t necessarily translate to other industries. reputation can get you far, but if they fail, it can close more doors than it opens.
