If they get the Terminus Systems on their side, they could stalemate the council, too.

They were considered a threat by the Turians before the Humans showed up. The Humans showing up is what gave the Council the ammunition to economically plunder the Batarian Hegemony, on account of how dangerous they are militarily.

            >most inhumane slave trade in human history,
Guess it’s a good thing the Alliance and Council have never dealt with the true Batarian military, which resides solely in Batarian space.
The Batarians install special agents into the Terminus gangs, take them over, then use those gangs to plan terrorist actions.
The Alliance fights cia agents and pretends they’re marines.

Post proof that human slaves which were largely extinct by the time humans achieved space flight are worse than Batarian slaves.

The fact we don’t need to rely on them for our economy says a lot compared to the Batarian Hegemony

You don’t even know what the Batarian economy looks like. The Codex says they’re slaves, but for all intents and purposes they may as well be commoners like under a European feudal system.

Batarian forces dwindled to about 5 percent, you’re looking at what’s left, what they cobbled together, and they can still take out the Alliance’s prize fleet.

It doesn’t say only 5%, your making that up. And it clearly says that the First fleet lost at least 55% of its fighting strength.

It literally says that the remnants of the entire Batarian species is about equal to the remnants of a single Alliance fleet. Hardly a ringing endorsement of Batarian strength.

They didn’t. They hired non-military personnel like Balak to take over gangs and begin funding terrorist attacks on Council occupied colonies.
The Blitz was a slaver campaign,Torfan was a raid on pirate slavers.
The Alliance never officially tangled with the Batarian Military, only through proxies.

Terminus systems aren’t united at all. They’re at best a loose conglomerate who occasionally work together. It would be hard if not impossible to cohesively unify them in a fight that large and they in no way could match the council’s power. At best they could maybe manage continuous hit and run attacks which they basically already do.

The Batarians have been quietly infiltrating the Blue Suns, a human organization.
If you kill Vido, you’re guaranteeing the Batarians massive sway over the Terminus Gangs. The Eclipse and BP would vassalize themselves under the Batarian banner.
Only true threat to Batarian rule is Aria, who has demonstrated at best that she can be replaced, at worst that she can be bought

Batarians are basically like Mass Effect North Korea, they’ve got this absurdly delusional image of their own power and the codex mentions how on their homeworld all the propaganda says they’re a galactic superpower on par with the Asari/Turians/Salarians. In reality they’re insanely weak considering how long they’ve been around, humanity casually wrecks them less than 20 years after discovering its first mass relay.

*Also they discovered a Reaper corpse, told nobody about it, so when Shepard was trying to warn everyone about the Reapers, the Batarians basically doomed the galaxy when they could have just piped up and confirmed it. Then they went and managed to get their whole science team indoctrinated, as well as half their political and military leaders, so when the Reapers attacked, the Batarians, instead of fighting the Reapers, promptly descended into civil war, detonating nukes on their own planet against one another, and their whole race essentially went extinct in a matter of hours.

          TLDR: Batarians are fucking stupid

The Turians lost their home world in a day, but held onto the solar system thanks to the Krogan assistance. By the end of the game, the Primarch ordered a full retreat from the system. So you did lose everything

Only to honor the agreement we made with the humans, to send our fleets and troops to Earth since the final battle took place there. There’s no point for us to keep resisting someplace else while the main fight shifted settings to the Sol system.

If you read the lore and listen the dialogue a bit, you’ll notice volus cash in all their assets to support militaries and the Crucible. They’re not the garden gnomes of ME, well not in practice, they’re just a funny caricature of them. If you want the real garden gnomes, look to the blue maidens. A shapeless mass of subversive deceit and stealthy infiltration under the guise of betterment, and when shit hits the fan they think of nobody but themselves even at the expense of others.

That has nothing to do with this.
      The point is simple.
They dont have allies because everybody hates them AND humanity is literally a member of the council lols.
For them to defeat the alliance, they would pretty much need to beat the combined forces of multiple races freaking reaper style.
Lets be clear here, there is no way fucking way they would ever manage this.
Reality is, they would provoke humanity, which would take matters to the council, gather allies and then fuck them right up to hell and back.

No, the ruthlessness is THE most important part. That is why Spectres are above the law. They are not intended to be heroes in any sense. They are there to get the job done and protect galactic stability AT ANY COST.

Ruthless is what the Specters look for; not heroic. War Hero Shepard is someone put forward for PR reasons and nothing more. They haven’t displayed the important MENTALITY for a Spectre. Sole Survivor is just pathetic and, again, hasn’t displayed the actual mindset that a Spectre needs to have.

Ruthless is what they want. Ruthless is what Spectres are.

No, they need stable people capable of living off the grid in galactic society, someone able to manage the responsibility of being the ultimate authority and the responsibility of keeping themselves armed and supplied because they’re going to get literally zero support for anything they do

Saren was ruthless but he was also savvy and halfway decent with people, what with funding and supplying secret research outposts and forming his own weapons manufacturer. The ability to be a dick and call it a good thing is objectively secondary to having your shit together and knowing when it’s appropriate to go full grey morality sperg.

Ruthless is arguably the most incompetent of the service backgrounds.
In sole survivor, you’re the last man standing in a platoon you weren’t even commanding at the time. Arnold shit.
In War Hero, you singlehandedly save the "second earth", Elysium, from Terminus gangs. Captain America shit.
In Ruthless, you send hundreds of humans to their death in the service of wiping out random thugs and slavers paid by the Batarian government. You don’t even wipe out any fleets or legitimate Batarian platoons, just the thugs in their back pocket.
Ruthless is gay, best served for incompetent femshep runs.

political context? the fuck? They all have political context, War Hero is about repelling an alien invasion that started over colony rights, Ruthless is about revenge for that alien invasion. Only sole survivor is presented a-political, and the cerberus arc proves that even that backstory has a lot of nuance to it.

Probably has something to do with how they evolved. Shame we never learn much about their history or the biology of their planet.

For example: krogan. They are aggressive and violent and breed in huge numbers because of the planet they evolved on, which is a hell world where only very aggressive and fast breeding organisms could survive.

Why are TMQF and HMQF so wide spread? How come we dont see QMHF or QMTF that often? Quarian men arent given a chance. This idea of Quarian men being emasculated, weak and short is a stigma propagated by arrogant humans and turians to make us look bad. The sad thing is that the council does nothing about this. Quarian men are systematically targeted i feel.

Why do all the women in the Migrant Fleet obsess over human men so much? Why are they like this?

I polished the shoulder pads of my suit and got brand new immunobooster software to show off, even got a new set of combat seals and a shiny new sheen for my visor.. but none of the women care! They just watch those extranet vids about big brutish Alliance marines and giggle to themselves like there’s something we don’t understand! One even said she uses the Nerve-Stim Deluxe while watching the vids!

Our race is doomed. Even one of our admirals started mating with a human soldier, what will the rest of our women do when they start noticing and follow her example?
