There’s possibly an argument for letting the lords use their secondary weapons from base, so Lyn doesn’t get counter attacked so often, Eliwood gets javelins from whenever you can buy them, and Hector gets better hit vs myms and mercs, but I can go either way on that one, if it’s at risk at making it too easy-

That would fuck up a bunch of supports since a lot of them mention the fact that they are in battle. Though some of them pretend like they are just sitting around the camp so idk, supports in the GBA games were weird.-
I mean they act more like Pent and Lousie’s supports where they still happen on the map, but after 1 map screen together, for people like Karla, and Renault or 2-5 chapters together etc for most others depending on join time

For real though, since avatar character is practically mandatory nowadays, I want at least have Mark take role as support unit because
1. Fuck Merlinus and stationary convoy bullshit
2. Rings are fucking retarded when the said support unit has dance and can make units move/attack twice.
Basically Mark is buffbot unit that constantly pooping rally buffs to nearby units at the start of the turn, but cannot attack, and has to be carried by a unit of your own choosing (weight 0). If a unit dies when they carrying Mark, it’s instant game over. So Mark’s function is for buffing units that you like, and to quickly reset the campaign when when said favourite unit dies. -
No reclassing. No nu-FE skill system. But I know this is asking too much of ISIS.

I’m fully expecting Ninten to milk the Swtich as long as the 3ds. My money is the next game will be on Switch -
3H already sold well on the Switch. The engine is already there, which I assume has to be the biggest hurdle to developing a new game, and they know they already have a market.
I’m nearly certain we’ll get news next year, and I’m even somewhat sure we’ll get a new game outright.-
There is a lot of potentiality. It’s also strange that we haven’t heard any formal announcements about the next FE project.
If that "leak" is to be believed, apparently a 4 remake was in development for 3DS, cancelled, then was pushed to switch. At the same time, it would be logical for a new game to be in development as well.
ANOTHER weird thing, is that 3H was apparently more of a Koei Tecmo project. Intelligent Systems was more focused on another project that we’ve not see. Or heard from yet.

Lyn immediately began forming MArk-psychosis around the Robins after meeting them in warriors. It’s safe to assume that anyone named mark or who is a tactician will meet the standards for LYn’s obsession. In fact meeting these people will only reinforce the reality of Marks existence in her eyes.

The Truth: Eliwood was convinced by Lyn’s friends during the short time they met to also pretend that Mark exists. This actually resulted in him creating a split personality/Tulpa of a being known as Mark which makes up all of Eliwood’s tactical prowess. Eliwood actually forgets his skills and attirbutes it all to ‘mark’ and when lyn hears about Eliwood’s ‘companion’ Mark, she immediately ‘recognizes’ her dear friend.

Rescuing only affects skill, and speed in the GBA games, it’s only in thracia were it halves like every single stat, and in the 3DS games rescuing/pair up buffs your stats

Her crying for Uther because she knows Hector can’t cry for him is so fucking touching and beautiful. Especially when she said at the beginning of the game that she would never cry again and that she thought that it was sign of weakness, but thanks to Hector she realized crying wasn’t a sign of weakness, on the contrary, the fucking character development with that pairing is so good. I swear it feels like they put more effort in the writing of HectorxLyn than EliwoodxNinian.

7 doesn’t need a remake, especially one that "links" it with 6, and even if it got one I wouldn’t buy it for fucking Lyn.
Tellius remakes first, please.-
What do you want them to re-do in the Tellius that needs a re-make.
Proper supports in RD, Mist being able to use magic, skip enemy phase, and buff Tormod, Muarim, and Vika’s availability in RD-
Generally fixing most of RD’s cast so they at least fill their niches well instead of just being filler units when you swap perspectives. Giving you more space at the tower to choose units so 90% isn’t just the laguz royals and Haar. Speed up animations and give the option to turn them off in 9. Make 9 actually difficult(not fucking maniac mode, that just bloats their stats and adds a ton of enemies). Remove the stupid fucking blood pact or at least adjust it so it makes some sense. There’s probably some other shit I’m not thinking of but they’re pretty flawed games, at least in terms of minor, easily fixed ones, I can’t think of much that’d improve 7 beyond drastic changes like an entire story rewrite and entirely different maps/objectives which is why I want one from 9 and 10 more. Though I can also see 4 and 5 getting fixed up from one too.

Also I should mention that RD is my favorite FE game and one of my favorite games in general but I won’t pretend it doesn’t have a ton of issues.

I don’t think the blood pact deserves all the hate it gets. Going too much into fantasy can make you lose your suspension of disbelief, but it’s explained why Pelleas would trust Izuka duping him like that, they were already half-established in lore with PoR not explicitly saying how Ashnard went from not in talks of succession, to becoming the King, and murdering his family, and their limits are semi-clearly defined. (Doesn’t say what would happen if the country were annexed for example), but it does clearly explain the central limitations behind their power, rather than just being kept as some wishy-washy magic curse, even if that’s what it is
