the enemy bullet sponge thing is just not going to ever be solved in this type of game I think. what they fumbled imo was making the bullet sponges not very fun to fight.
>what they fumbled imo was making the bullet sponges not very fun to fight.
How long has it been since you played the game? They nailed the balance perfectly now at endgame. Takes about 1 second to drop an enemy, half a second with a maximum damage build. Snipers can 1 tap even named bosses with the correct setup, condition based damage can burn entire rooms of enemies in 1 go.
the first game? a long ass time. the second? like a year.
You just need to make the guns feel good. Like Destiny using the hand cannon just feels really good.
d2 has more fun shootin than most other games of it's type. the enemies react well and have enough glowing weakpoint variety that I enjoy blowing them apart for longer than usual.
>the second? like a year.
Intredasting. Because even back then the ttk was very good in my opinion. I got the game when covid lockdowns started and I have played about 600 hours by now.

maybe I'm misreading which is possible because I am retarded. the second felt better to me than the first in terms of how much enemies felt like sponges. I think we're in agreement haha. my comment about bullet sponges initially was concerning d1.

Oh yeah, I played 1 after spending several hundreds of hours in 2 and the enemies definitely felt more spongy. I wish theu would redo 1 I the engine of 2 or merge the 2 games because combat is so much better in the second game. They could get a lot of new sales out of that too I'll wager. Division 1 atmosphere reigns supreme however.
>download the game yesterday >install >"well, let's see what it's ab--" >something something gotta create some ubisoft account >uninstall
that was easy
It crashes constantly and is kind of bland I picked it up for $7.49 and couldn't bring myself to finish the main story.
The missions are all the same the gear is all the same, just the same 40 or so weapons with slowly increasing stats.
If you are desperate to play something absolutely mindless then maybe for 4.50 euro its worth it but otherwise its not worth your time.
>in the middle of a tutorial >get an urgent radio message about a mission, assume this is related to the tutorial >run out and talk to the NPC >it's actually bait for a paid expansion mission >during the fucking game's opening tutorial >ignore the NPC and try to continue the tutorial >game locks up
nah
No, not even with such a deep discount because the game is borderline fucking broken on PC. It's had a crashing issue for nearly 3 years now that the devs literally don't know how to fix. Sometimes you'll play for days without it crashing, then sometimes you can't go more than 10 minutes without a crash. Sometimes it'll crash and completely freeze up your PC, forcing you to hard reset it.
The first game is better in pretty much every way, btw.
for that price, worth it tbh
Nah
no because the GFL collab didn't introduce anime girl models
Its dead mmo
Not.
Boring game without even the creepy aesthetic of frosty NYC
I'm debating on getting far cry 6 myself.
no, no american game is worth it
npc
Ubisoft is European, retard.
france is just america 2.0, I'd say it's even worse since they worship morons even more
if you havent already play division 1, its much better especially with survival dlc
this
div2 was headed in the right direction early on but they fucked it all sorts of up. div1 survival was the peak of the division.
div1 sucked ass too. Enemy sponges, clipping shots, crappy single player mode.

bullet sponges just don't mesh well with modern-times setting

>start mission
>enemies same level
>beat mission
>walk across the street
>one tapped by level 30 mook
rpgs were a mistake
>denuvo
>VM Protect
>ubisoft launcher
not even for free
Is that the Warlords of New York edition? If not: No. Because WoNY is needed for end-game.
Also: Tom Clancy's The Crashing Every 2Mins, BTW.
the crashing thing is so common and has never been fixed for me. why did these retards have to make div2 instead of someone competent.
>Also: Tom Clancy's The Crashing Every 2Mins, BTW.
works on my console 🙂
It's entirely slot based. Sometimes I can play for five hours with no issues. Others it'll crash every ten minutes.
>Massive: It makes no goddamn sense. Compels me, though.
Sure for that price. It's one of the best open world designs for a looter shooter, shiet for any game imo
No. The game still has persisting crashing problems for some fucking reason regardless of exceeding requirements and regardless of additional updates.
Name a better 3rd person shooter with RPG mechanics
fatal bullet
How much of the story is mandatory? I love how half the game in the division is about exploration.
i hope you like shooting robots and same looking dungeons and broken AI with high framerates
>How much of the story is mandatory?
All of it? I mean if you're wanting to do end game, you're going to have to do them to reach that.
>Sword Shart: Online
>Stupid Tranime game
>Came out in 2018 yet looks like a game from 2004, as per usual jap games
No thanks. Pass.
They look like soldiers, not cops.
I bought the ultimate edition on sale for xbox and noticed that most of the characters are morons and/or women
It's a boring looter shooter that betrayed the initial impression the original's development failed to execute on. See
too. The best thing this game ever did was inspire some tacticool anime girls illlustrations.
Do you need an Ubisoft account or launcher? The steam page only mentions VM protect but I don’t know what that is...
Every Ubisoft game you buy on steam will install Uplay and require that you make an account.
Thanks JC, guess I’m not buying it then
>e
too bad we can't go back to pre TU8 and try again from there.

Don't forget to refund, fren.
I can't believe stupid shit like the manning zoo hasn't been fixed yet. gear2.0 was the end.
It will never be fixed with new f2p division coming out
No. It's a braindead looter shooter with nice graphics.
no. I had fun playing it, but it keeps crashing and there's no way to fix it.

dogshit game, played for like 30 minutes and refunded
