i agree with you but i can understand the other anon by realizing that AAA studios can't even make solid 5/10s anymore. starfield sucked ass, but not the normal bethesda game sucking, genuine sucking. skyrim and fallout were as deep as a puddle but at least they were as wide as an ocean. starfield is just as shallow but the content that wastes time is just as shit as the story.
maybe having companies make sequels and such is the lesser evil, at least we see something recognizable and gets associated with better older games rather than getting brand new things we have zero starting opinions on and it shitting the bed.

I want every game to be story complete. I do not want sequels. Why would I need a sequel if the last game was perfect? You can release a level editor to the community and they can make more levels
